Just wanted to inform everyone of some stuff thats happening with unobtanium currently.


New Exhange pairings:
Usdt/Uno will be added to our most popular cex exchange (coinexchange.io)

BlockDx was waiting on majority of nodes to be on 0.11.0.0 if all goes well by next release should be available.
And afaik fallingknife will setup pairings desired most by community!

Hardware Wallets:
Trezor should be releasing firmware with unobtanium added this month!

Coldcard - available now but waiting on release of electrum

Ledger most work was done previously, will need updating but should be not too long away. Pending electrum release

LightWallet:
Electrum/electrumx client and server are up and running and working releases for windows, osx and linux will be available soon.

Core Changes:
There is many plans for updates to the core network, although we do need everyone to update to 0.11.0.0 before we look at doing any major or minor changes to core, thse changes include but are not limited to: bip32/bip44, segwit.

Funding:
Currently funding comes from the community, discussions had been in place about subsidy added to blocks to pay for development but this hinders the rare n fair. So please anyone wanting to see more progress for uno to donate to:

I posted this to Telegram earlier, but will also link here - If anyone wants to try BIP32 UNO wallets in Lisp https://github.com/Shinoa-Fores/bip0032sbcl is now available. This tool allows creation of HD wallets from seed words, and also has a mechanism to allow crafting "proof of existence" chains of arbitrary data. This function requires a GPG key, a pdf abstract is included with the repo.

BlockDX, an actual decentralized exchange :Has no stupid listing fee in an unknown token, only reviews coin source code to ensure compatibility. Plus, UNO already has trading pairs there.

I think the choice is obvious. The death knell is sounding for charlatans and their fly-by-night exchanges.

Things are very foobar at the moment.

The BlockDex is the best bet long term.  

After that we have NLEXCH for BCH doGE LTC.
Frei for BTC.  Both for api data LIVE feeds.

And BISQ for alt dex.

If Altilly or any other exchange wants trader fees then they can list UNO.

That said I am all for eliminating this counterparty risk of centralized exchanges, all the dishonest ones go mtGOX and the honest ones disappear suddenly COINEX, NOVA, BLEU

It is amusing that random posters here and on chats come to shill random exchanges. Altilly has some amusing requirements:

KYC Verified account at Altilly. (You must be a verified user before you can submit your listing.

Give us all your personal infos, just like banks. With reputation of exchanges being what it is ("We wuz hacked!") is there a guarantee your information is safe? KYC/AML automatically makes you an agent of the government also, so these exchanges already are nothing more than another fiat institution with a veneer of crypto on the outside, just waiting to liberate you of your precious Bitcoin.

Of course you don't, gotta pay those shills to hop about "social media" and Telegram begging coins to list on your exchange.

Yes. Yes, it is. I am working hard to bring myself up to speed on getting it to work smoothly. It's a bit convoluted at the moment, but an actual DEX is still the best bet for any coin community looking to escape the endless cycle of the sort of nonsense described above.

Freiexchange is about the only centralized exchange I have even a modicum of respect for these days. The message to CEX's is clear: adapt or die.
