That's a bummer! What made you liquidate your $UNO? I get the sense hemeras won't be back to answer that question for a while. If I had to guess, I'd say ditching all cryptos with the BTC toilet bowl suction going on. Unfortunately, I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to try to see if we can keep our $USD value and then some, so hemeras is not likely to be able to buy back at these lower fiat prices, JIMHO. I figured the crypto dump, because I did that sort of thing in frustration at times circa 2012, ancient history in cryptos. Too bad....

Thought I might be able to catch him / her before he / she logged out. Anyway, I'm not selling, the way I look at it is crypto is the ultimate speculation and any "investment" will either turn me into an Unoaire / Dogaire / etc. or I'll end up with zippo. It's been a great ride so far and I'm not getting off the train. Having some dry powder fiat is a good plan for sure if the conspiracy theories play out that the bigwigs are trying to pimp BTC down to $1 to buy it up and then ramp it back up. $UNO is a nice harbor to camp out in for the time being regardless, just figured more people would figure it out...maybe they won't...

Thanks for the info! A proxy service I've been using apparently went offline. Nothing I can replace overnight, but I'll try to look into it ASAP.

$UNO is a nice harbor to camp out in for the time being regardless, just figured more people would figure it out...maybe they won't... I've been thinking the same, but we're in utter freak-out mode for the majority of inexperienced traders. There is no supply shortage of actors talking about how BTC is going to zero, or whatever. Who is doing an analysis of alts right now? A shopkeeper? No way! He's bailing on BTC, like all the other followers. I hate this. I think it's so sad, but this IS where us experienced traders come in and fulfill our moral market function of "reducing market volatility" and "providing essential market liquidity", but I digress from discussing UNO, ...mostly.... Just realize, we aren't in bull market mode at all right now, (well maybe UNO is a little. You know,....For the miners.) LTC is up a little this evening, but that's just a rebound, just oversold fundamentals. Remember the good ol' days of late 2013, when all cryptos got their chance to shine in round-robin style? UNO is still alive and doing very well, while many have died. I'm not even looking for a round-robin cryptoworld pump opportunity. I know that we'll still get the intelligent, long-term analyzing traders and investors showing up for their UNO once the market reverses. That's all we want - awesome people we actually want to interact with on our thread and in our community. They aren't making much more UNO these days, so a few great new investors when they are ready is all we need. Turtle power!

The BTC ratio for an ounce of silver is now: 0.077!!!! This is insanely higher than it's been!
You can be sure I've been quietly selling some silver and buying BTC's, UNO, and several other alts these last couple of weeks. LOTS of bullets all around, now!
Some famous, very successful trader dude that I have shared his lecture with at some point on the in-house exchange thread said something like, 'You have to be willing to "lose a little money" at first when you are preparing for the big reversal!' A.K.A. 'Catch a falling knife.', BTW. Right, FK? (That is, when the falling knife is just a phase, and not terminal.)
I'm ready for sub-$100 BTC. That would be awesome!!!
Plus, if you don't get started early and ease into your position ("cost averaging"/"dollar cost averaging"), you may not get liquidity or market functions may "break," if you wait too long. It's an old trick to turn off exchanges and financial data websites when extreme prices are hit. Happens over and over.
...Or you can just panic-trade with the herd, whateva'.
-
BTW, what do you guys want UNO's price to be right now? I mean, overall, for you, for your plans, for your buying, for the miners, overall?
Do we want to keep it around 0.009 for the remainder of the BTC drop and halfway into the BTC bull back to $640? I'm ok and can support 0.009 pretty easily by myself, (not that I'll bother, if it's a solo act.) Afterall, UNO truly is backed by silver, it's just completely informal. A lot of us are silver hoarders. We should all understand this as fact by now. What are y'all thinkin'?
Maybe just defend 0.008? How about cutting a trench at 0.007 for the BTC whiplash by April? What's it gonna be?
-
Here's a secret: We should be at the very beginning of a 20-30-year bull market for precious metals. Yeah, I know!!! Still, I'm still selling a smaller percent of silver for a market basket of cryptos. Do you get it, yet? Fuck the $USD; it's about the ratios of valuable assets against each other, starting NOW.
-
I want to see everyone on here as successful traders/investors, because that will make a strong UNO and a strong community!

Everything is cheap right now!!! Silver, BTC, UNO. BUY and... HODL! Yeah, it's really amazing, I've been waiting for the world financial system to collapse for years. It has just given those of us who see what's really going on more time to prepare. I don't honestly know how the manipulation has gone on this long or how much longer it will be able to be continued. My main fear is that when the end game finally arrives, those of us who have prepared will be demonized - ie, since we were prepared, for the "greater good," we will need to pay our "fair share" by way of some sort of super-tax on accumulated hard assets or simple seizure... Sorry to have posted this here, I know we have an official thread for such comments: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=881433.new#new

BTC (LTC) is speculation. UNO is investment.
Do you want 1 of something not rare. Or do you want 100 of something that is also 60x more rare.
Either are on sale at @$200 this week.
Bit Con is stuck in a long long bear. It maybe march before the majority finally gets 'it'.
All you need do is catch BTC on the down beats and immediately switch to UNO.
And as an investor you will win.
Cool thing is uno only needs a small group to constantly pull it North as the others slide South.
The UNO is green chart in a season of blood red moons.
That will get attention.

Lower price BTC is so inviting to swap for UNO. BTW, what do you guys want UNO's price to be right now? I mean, overall, for you, for your plans, for your buying, for the miners, overall?
UNO has higher to go. Lots of altcoin refugees disillusioned with scams, pump and dump, and coin inflation to buy some UNO before next all time high. I'm not sure what miners are thinking???

In the last 24 hours, I've watched BTC lose almost $100 from ~$245, 40% drop. Russian traders scrambling to dump for fiat before the hole-y iron curtain falls on BTC? Looks like a low of $152.40. Fun times! Wish I had more in my bank account!!! Doesn't hurt to keep some extra BTC's on hand FOR SOME BUY SUPPORT!!! Cheap BTC now. Very expensive buy support, if you wait too many weeks/months. - BALANCE This is what's best for UNOBTANIUM long term. Now's your chance. - The ratio is now 0.089 BTC/oz Ag, and may STILL grow a little higher. Don't wait. Get crackin' the code of success NOW! It's what's best for da precious Unobtanium. Don't forget - Fuck the $USD. Stop thinking about that one. It rises like crazy, against a crap basket of fiat - just before dying!

Don't sell #UNO in 2015. Sell what #UNO can do!

BALANCE it's what UNO does for your crypto portfolio i like how all the bitcoin stars align: stamp HACKED price spikes to kills everyone holding leveraged SHORTS then bitcoin pukes 2/3 of it's value now after an 8hr flash crash it will try to convince everyone it can party all the way back to $500 then $1500 then $5000 (and it might be able to fake a bull market for 2 months with this new $145 bottom to give it an uptrend look) ps ... the general public never has access to this price spike, all that BTC gets transferred to the boys with the ability to wire $10M to Hong Kong or Shanghai. pss ... BTC loss of 50% in 2 weeks << why is it considered such a darling? One Year and no known price!!!! Is it $50 or is it $500 or is it $5000 ?? UNO has been steady for months and months at more or less $2

2 - 4 bucks is still 100% movement.
Surprised why UNO didn't hold better against the BTC fall.
