"Maybe next time someone chooses to take a big bite from the sellside maybe put an equivalent amount of buyorder up so market isn't that thin." This is a cousin of my idea of 'core-tanium,' Gustav. Yes. Requires discipline. Must be rewarded if possible.
FTC and XPM delisted on BTC-E? Wow!

Uno looking good today! Maybe next time someone chooses to take a big bite from the sellside maybe put an equivalent amount of buyorder up so market isn't that thin. Can't rise on thin air alone - at least not indefinately. If you buy 200 above marketlevel: order at least 100 below marketlevel for the stability -------- People dumping for discount at cryptsy could be selling all day above market at bittrex and other exchanges instead. #justsayin' Other than that: no complaints edit: btc-e delisting TRC, FTC and XPM in one wash - a lot vacant slots there soon. Good advice on keeping our Uno markets healthy, Gustav. Thanks for that reminder. I have to wonder when Cryptsy will put down some of their old dogs. Cryptsy really hangs on hard to their old coins.

The No-One-Is-in-Charge Management Alliance of Un-Ex is seriously considering de-listing a number of national currencies. They are unstable, and associated with drugs and corruption.

The Un-Ex vision gets one step closer to reality today: the liquidity engine is operational! The very first merchant transaction has today been successfully completed here on the Un-Ex! - It was Australian (our local chapter is growing - tell your friends and do the same);
- A merchant (Data Retriever) was paid in crypto for a product/service;
- The newly-received crypto was then offered on the Un-Ex Trade Tracker for conversion to fiat (AUD);
- The trade was successfully completed within hours of posting.
- =Happy Merchant (received payment in fiat = balanced books)
- =Happy Trader (a Trusted Trader obtained UNO at current prices without fees)!
Trusted Traders, consider pledging liquidity in your available fiat currency as your resources allow and watch the utility of this simple mechanism grow as more merchants (sellers of goods and services) can find an active, local and trusted exchange ready to help them accept cryptocoins without interruption to their operations. Today, we're on the Bitcointalk forum and using a shared online spreadsheet. Tomorrow, watch us grow!

Looks like the offensive assault on the Centurion Wall has failed! Potato sacks thrown through the German No's. May we pass? "Nein!" I see new defensive trenches being cut in the infinite 8's. THOU SHALT NOT PASS! (All the swanky cheap-ass traders sigh in relief.)

Bitcoin market is raped by the inflation. People don't get it.
Why is my Uno still only 2$? You think UNO was rising? It was not! Bitcoin crashed. You didn't make any money last weeks even if the charts show a rise of almost 100% last month! Trading mainly against Bitcoin makes Uno more volatile than it would need to be. If we could trade mainly against fiat UNO would be an entirely different game. Hope BTC-e or Kraken is coming through soon!

@Small
"People don't get it." Agree ... but we are making cracks in the BTC armour .... so keep up the boycott of that inflationary coin.
Even after this 'crash' the BTC fan club is still "Well nows the time to buy!" Math, basic math.
The interesting take is now ... "The Fed Res is going to buy all the BTC to save themselves". So @ $10M/coin all the electricity in the world is going to run asic farms. Sorry no more hot showers.
Yes UNO is still at $2. So it is holding value. When does it start to gain value? I'll take 25% gain/year. That's fair. And I don't lose $value. I am much happier that UNO maintains market capital than it gains market capital. Look at the litter of million dollar coins now ranked under UNO.
But my guess is that as BTC continues south and UNO continues north (at least in bitcoin value) ... more will take notice.
Look at Paycoin, and now maza. Hash goes to the money. And quick too.
And UNO has and is preforming in a very prudent manner as money.
When the crowd slams into the books (like they always do) be-careful to not dump it all.

hehe. I don't 'dump' coins of this format, especially not to a greedy mob. In UNO case i am confident they'll take it from my hands at the price i make for them. It's true: holding the 2$ value is already an overachievement in this altcoin-scene. We should tell people staight in the face "Uno has been more stable than bitcoin or any other coin in the longterm" (strong message, backed up by actual tradehistory) 25% per annum is a healthy estimate. But i doubt we can avoid more volatility once the crowd catches on. Uno at LTC marketcap would be 200$+ so i'd like to see 100$ bare minimum for this coin. Doesn't matter if it's next week or 2017. Maybe i wouldn't even sell out once it hits my target. Hi, Smallminer! Look at the post above yours. But it's good you build something we can conveniently fall back on in case the exchanges fail. -------- I think this thread is refreshing compared to the rest of the forum right now. Keep it up

@Benefactor, congrats on the Hero member status! Well deserved. Respect!
@smalltimer, I just realized that this thread is almost 10 months old. That's ancient in crypto terms.
There are many long timers still here, who you can trace back to the first few pages of the thread.
This community has far exceeded my humble goals when I began the thread. Having the continuity of dedicated participants and long term investors in UNO has made this discussion one of the most interesting diversions in my day.
I don't think it will be much longer until people realize that Uno needs to be back up at that $3/Un price. The price of Uno is deceptively low, thanks to the ever falling value of Bitcoin.
Telling the Uno story is my favorite thing to do. But cutting through all of the noise in the cryptsphere to be heard is very difficult. Media is always looking for the big controversy, or the next big coin, or the current big scam. Stability, store-of-value, continuity, community.... that's all too boring to the altcoin/bitcoin media.
Still, we won't give up. Eventually, one of these days, someone who has a respected platform is going rediscover Unobtanium.
