derp ---- back to IMZ headline "After closing the bank accounts of Bitcoiners (Bitcoin businesses), National Australia Bank & Commonwealth Bank of Australia joins the R3 project to design their own 'blockchain' protocol" in this politically correct world let's do a little evaluation of hypocrisy but also legal discrimination going on here: "After closing the bank accounts of Women'z (businesses owned by a woman), National Australia Bank & Commonwealth Bank of Australia join a project to design their own 'xx-chromo-some' protocol" ---- Happy 2nd birthday to Uno. Congrats.
I have the following domain names for sale
ALT.MARKET - $750 or best offer
UNO.MARKET - $500 or best offer
or $1000 for both Shameful behaviour, mate. GoDaddy charges $57.99 for one yearly .market domain name and a second for +$18/yr. You're squatting opportunistically. Go do something useful that contributes to the community rather than trying to rip it off. @Runtime ... I'd rather look at this in a positive light. They are good names. There is some potential there. Join the UNO community. Build up some street credit. Then maybe something can happen that benefits us all.

You're wise and correct in this approach, BN. However, I note that various other very relevant *.market domain names are still available for prices as named ($58/yr) and that domain name squatting is a practice that rustles my jimmies, but this isn't a complete loss of a situation. There's always room for a change of heart and the resetting of goals from short term profit to longer-term community mindedness. We're stronger and better together!

More Cryptsy FUD (FUD isn't necessarily true or untrue, just 'fear, uncertainty and doubt'). https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3pknoy/cryptsy_not_processing_larger_withdraws/Somebody from Cryptsy did say in another thread that they would be expanding the order book information, which I have requested many times. https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3pf9hc/cryptsy_developers_interviewing_for_other_tech/cw651jr This means that we may get a little more info on where the market sentiment stands with the large stash of unknown compisition. Lots of market action today; someone bought $300 up to 0.0065 on Bittrex then somebody dumped $900 worth to 0.005 on Bittrex and Cryptsy. Not sure why the dumping when we've been showing fairly strong buying power the last few days. Somebody trying to keep the price suppressed for longer? Hopefully some of the individuals with the buy orders that got completed on Cryptsy decide to withdraw to a wallet so we can shrink the mega-wallet some more. I mean, they had just seen strong buys into the 0.006's, why sell 22% lower? Hanlon's razor states, "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity", but I'm having a hard time not attributing the continued waves of negative-value dumping to a calculated plan.

Thanks. I'm using El Capitan OSX 10.11 I just tried installing the blue one instead but got an error message that said "Unobtanium-Qt cannot be opened because of a problem." Anyone else having a problem syncing the wallet? I can't get passed block 266752. I have updated to the most recent OSX wallet, although I did notice there were two different types of OSX wallets available. My wallet is showing my UNO balance appropriately, but does not seem to be downloading the rest of the blockchain transactions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
no problems here...which OSX wallet are you using? try this one, just released last week: yeah, Blazr2's "bluechist" build for OSX has never worked for me or anyone else; we should really remove that from our frontpage and website. The above wallet worked out-of-the-box for me, but i'm still currently using OSX Mavericks. keep us updated on this issue, please. It should works with any OSX version but I'll test my wallet with El Capitan tonight and will fix any compatibility issue if there is one. Cheers Just tested my version of UNO on OSX works fine with all version through El Capitan. But here's the updated one with some small bugs fixed build with El Capitan and newest QT https://www.dropbox.com/s/n9rmd3w60uxe775/Unobtanium.zipMD5: d9b1e5b4a2a3cfdd45773c64c499c1f1 If you like my work, ugZcQ5Q9SEmwxT2wPQWggZHT94fc8E7WFG. Someone is creating them for one reason or another. Maybe even a 22% lower value still gives them enough? I personally don't care about what i might have gotten for my coins but rather what i can get for them. A bird in hand is worth two in the bush sorta thing. Everyone has different strategies. I am also not a trader in any sense of the word so my only strategy is buy low sell high. Higher than what ever i bought in for. Anyone else ever think of all this crypto stuff as modern day alchemy?

To me, this is clearly an accumulation tactic. Push it down with a little Uno, then buy more Uno cheap. Uno was recently called out on twitter as pump candidate. This is pre-pump behavior (imo). Will be interesting to see where it goes in the next 30 days.

I know most of you don't use OSX, but could you all please consider sending at least 1 or 2 UNO to pnoch. regardless of what OS you use, having a functional mac wallet is very important to our community. pnoch is doing this work proactively and I'd really like for him to be rewarded for his efforts so that he doesn't get discouraged figuring no one values his contribution. I just sent 5kg more, but please, I can't be the only one to contribute here. another 1kg from each of the active members of the community would be a decent amount at very little cost to you, but huge benefit to Unobtanium as a whole.

Siameze, you're more than welcome in this thread, we're happy to see you post.
Regarding Yobit: I agree with the assessment that they deal with a lot of small ICO's, pre-mined coins and micro-cap coins. The large coins they have there do not get much volume; DOGE, PPC, NMC, DASH, LTC. I also agree with F.K. that there is a lot of exchange work still to be done, this will not replace or hinder those initiatives. As long as we understand what the benefits may be, we can risk a measly $26 on getting listed there. Possible benefits: 1) Another exchange listed on our coinmarketcap markets page. 2) Another dollar or two of volume per day (I'm not expecting much, maybe equivalent to Bleutrades current volume). 3) Exposure to a new group of collectors and traders. 4) Getting our toes damp in an exchange with Chinese and Russian languages. 5) This may sort of replace the micro-exchange role that Comkort filled before it closed earlier this year.
Once I receive 0.08 BITCOIN to the address below I will submit the listing request to Yobit. If there are any further concerns please place them now.

@ Nat: morning! I missed this post (and B.C. has ponied up the dough!) Great! I'll just tidy up the Exchanges Project data, in case we need to start again down the track. (Mongolia has a Bitcoin exchange?) Don't forget we should contact Gatecoin around Christmas.

I've sent 2 UNO to pnoch as a donation for dev'ing the Mac wallet.
Someone is definitely pushing the price down and preparing. This is what it feels like. Could push over $2.50 in mere seconds. Also, on Cryptsy they can just sell to themselves and have no trade fees.
@bigtimespaghetti: UNO bar was received. Awesome, thanks.
Ended up also receiving some other silver and a pound of copper rounds on the exact same day the UNO silver arrived. Sweet deal.
Oh, I'm also in agreement with FallingKnife. Forget Yobit, IMO.
Donated a few more UNO to Cryptapus via the donation address at the bottom of the dice page.

Cryptopia's Uno wallet is in maintenance. Don't send coins now, they'll be delayed. Just hang on.
All is well with the UNO wallet at Cryptopia. Uno sent to your Crytopia wallet will now arrive.

Does anyone get the vibe that Cryptsy has just gotten deeply in bed with the US government?
Know your Customer Tiered verification?
No warning?
With the terrible security, who would be comfortable in leaving any personally identifiable information with that group?
Sure glad I don't leave anything on there, it would take years to get off.
Not that it's great, but it seems the Yobit move makes even more sense now if one prefers to keep his / her personal information personal.

I noticed that, but didn't have to go through it all, probably because I'm still using an unverified account? If I ever get forced to go through with it, I'll simply close it - no way do I trust my details with that company!

Hey guys, I finally have a little free time (Serious overtime in the laboratory lately). Working on the Yobit addition now, I hear RDD's and F.K's points but I think it's a net positive; more options, more backups, more volume during times of action, Russian and Chinese languages. Thanks for supporting the devs Superdog and RDD! Great stuff going on here, you guys rock! Edit: If anyone wants to help make the Yobit market (should be up on Friday) or trade there in the future, here's my affiliate link so you can keep some of your fees in the UNO world https://yobit.net/?bonus=JlabcYobit has Russian Ruble pairs with BTC, USD, DOGE and LTC. It's possible, with some effort, volume, Russian translation or during a rally we could get an UNO/RUR pair. We'll see how it goes first I guess. Thanks again to Bitcoin Charlie for the 0.08 (and I think BitcoinNational sent him UNO for a part of that?)
