My current understanding. (Amateur not Professional)

1.  The Mega Wallet is clearly used to pay client withdraws November 2015-December 2015
2.  The Mega Wallet goes into cold hibernation mode Jan. 13 2016
3.  In March 2016 someone opens and test withdraws a Bittrex account
4.  On April 10 2016 The Mega Wallet is deposited to that Bittrex account

Still murky but ThunderJet has The Mega Wallet connected to uRan, which might indicate/implicate Vern to Woolong if you go down that Rabbithole.

Vern could still claim 'hacker' ... but if the 'hacker' got all your BTC, LTC, and other cool coins in August 2015, but was kind enough to monitor withdraw requests for UNO and make payment and move the lot to a new set of privkeys every time just like and exchange operator would do, only to decide on April 10, after I guess "Wacker" the hacker felt that the contract to return all those BTC and LTC wasn't sweet enough and he then sent 15000 UNO coins that he had miraculously made look like they here in the control of Cryptsy but where really under his shadow ... ha ha that evil genius Wacker the hacker ... just too dumb to know not to send the whole entire lot all at once ... oppps.

Why is Sallah not actually hiring Bryce to take those cryptsy-harddrives and history on them apart? All the info Sallah could ever ask for is already at his disposal. He aparently just needs help processing it.

BigVern's tweet says he gave them the physical "location" of the wallet servers, but it doesn't say that he have them the server & wallet passwords. I strongly suspect the court knows where the servers are, but simply can't get into them.

Based on what we have seen, and the fact that BigVern left the US before Cryptsy was in receivership, it would be logical to assume that BigVern has not turned over the private keys or passwords to the Cryptsy servers.  I think the court receivers generally know by now what they need to do, but the fact that they haven't done it speaks more to Paul Vernon's lack of cooperation than their own competence. They wouldn't ask us for help if they already had access. Just speculating but it seems a logical conclusion, no?   

BigVern is acting logically for his situation. He has no immediate incentive to give up the keys (if he hasn't given them up already, which it appers he has not). He is beyond the reach of the court.  If he is ever returned to the US, he could use the private keys as leverage (if there is are any cryptocurrency assets left), he can use them today to try and negotiate some advantage for himself, or he can just hope to go on living happily ever after in China.  If he give up the keys/passwords, then he has no advantage.

Would you like to help stick it to Big Vern?  This is your chance.

I spoke again with the Cryptsy conservator today. He explained that the current status of the UNO wallet that was stolen from Cryptsy is that it is frozen by Bittrex.  I've been asked to provide reasonable proof connecting the Bittrex wallet to Cryptsy. Bittrex understandably needs to cover themselves from a business & liability perspective. They didn't ask for stolen UNO to be sent to Bittrex, and have cooprated by freezing the wallet. Yet, it is reasonable that they have asked the conservator for some help to trace the funds.  Obviously, Bittrex doesn't watch the rockchain as closely as we do, and the conservator has no prior experience with UNO whatsoever, so we were asked to provide some help.  I think we can do this.   (and no, I'm not getting paid for any of this).

Did you escape Cryptsy with UNO in the final days?  I am looking for Cryptsy withdrawal transactions that can be traced directly to the big Cryptsy Cold Wallet.

Here is what would be helpful:

1) Transaction ID of your latest and largest withdrawals from Cryptsy that may have moved the Cold Wallet. I'll take anything at this point.  Something from January would be great, but if you pulled out 2k UNO from Cryptsy in 2014, I'll be glad to work with that.

2) This is a bonus:  you still control the wallet that received the UNO from Cryptsy, and ideally you have the ability to sign a message from the wallet.

3) Super bonus: you would be ok identifying yourself to the conservator who is trying to recover the Cryptsy wallet, perhaps making a statement that you did indeed trigger that transaction which moved the Cryptsy cold wallet.

I'll be happy with #1, but #2 & #3 would clinch it.  If you PM me the transaction, I will keep it confidential.  If you feel comfortable posting the info here, then go ahead do that so everyone in the world can also sleuth the rockchain, but just know that you will be revealing your wallet.

So,

1). If that transaction from November 2015 I have provided helps, (it was in 2 succesive transactions, my wallet doesn't allow transactions larger than 999 kg for some reason), then Bob is our Uncle.

2) I still own and control that wallet.  Somebody will have to tell me how to "sign" a transaction.  

3) I'm American.  Have no problem identifying myself to the conservator (I've already emailed him once, and published the contents here).

So let me know if you can trace that transaction back to URAN and let me know how to sign a statement from that wallet.

From what I've received in PM's I have around 6 transactions connecting the Cryptsy coldwallet with the UNO moved to Bittrex.
I'll put it all together and send it along. More transactions are always welcome, but I think we have enough evidence now to make sure that BigVern will never again touch that UNO at Bittrex. Thanks.

If the servers are Digital Ocean and there is a court order, it wouldn't be hard for Sallah to serve the appropriate paperwork and have all of the passwords reset for the servers. This doesn't, however, deal with the possibility of wallet/key backups held by Paul.

I think it's a possibility Sallah has at least some data he is unable to make sense of. Afterall he's a complete greenhorn. Pretty sure if he had the prove in his posession he would be unable to extract it, given how he was unable to secure the funds.
I don't think he's able to follow txs on chain like you guys do all day.
In the end of the day only he knows what he has. I think you guys are doing GREAT work here. It should be easy to jail vern based on this alone.

Also: this thread-history can also be used as kind of proof for the wallet to belong to cryptsy - it was very often a topic on here from day 1. We've got dozens of people on this thread confirming over and over the Uran-wallet was cryptsy.

The fat cryptsy-wallet was for more than a year the biggest blob on the blockchain. Putting it on #1 at all times - so due to its size it's really not hard to track back and forward in time.

The community should 100% be able to prove all this beyond a doubt, no question about it.

As has been said: if Sallah somehow would have or could get withdrawals and deposit histories of cryptsy he could produce tons and tons of prove all on his own.

There are so many avenues here how to get to the proof, it's incredible. Basically it all lies out in the open.

Crowd sourcing a hunt for a criminal is sort of fun, I'll admit.

I think protecting UNO is one of the odd things that binds the community. We all spend time on other coins, too, but when it comes time to fight for the homeland, it's "All For UNO." Its great to see people stepping up with their expertise to help keep this coin running, whether compiling wallets, contributing transactions to a cause, fueling the UNO cryptopia markets, advocating educating, running services, mining pools, mining equipment, talking to vendors, contributing to explorers or Android wallet projects, running a website, social media ... keeping a crypto running doesn't happen by accident.  Its a takes a motivated community.

I dont know where you are from, but unless you have legal authority to do what you are suggesting, then what you are actually doing is putting out a "Hit" on somebody.  
That can come with serious jail time. Let the legal process do what its going to do. Receiver is supposed to have control of servers now so lets wait and see if they can get us our funds back before doing anything stupid
