Well I don't want to really impose on another person(s) project. If you have any advertising materials on it we could set some stuff up for that, as far as miners there are lots of them on discord with pools etc etc.. also the costs or what is needed would be and could be figured out by you, if your or someone else is still interested. If you could come up with a comprehensive list of what is needed and post it here I'm sure we would appreciate it so maybe we can have a better understanding of what we need to start it up.

I'd suggest to make a Prototanium revival thread for this then, as this is the Unobtanium thread and discussion is quickly becoming off-topic. As far as "imposing" on someone else's project, it's ded for all intents and purposes, but still remains an open-source project, so anyone can do as they wish with it. I maintained my own UNO client for years before joining up as a project developer. As a freelance developer, I welcome PM's from folks interested in my paid services for select projects. As I recall, you had no funding for the project and I simply cannot do any unpaid work at this time. I wish you well on the project if you do decide to organize a revival.

I can not believe this coin has been able to remain the hidden gem it is.
It's going straight past Proxima Centauri, just a matter of time. Once crypto education is added to school curriculums the crypto illiterate will find it.
It's one of the few coins that has a shot at overtaking Btc in price per unit IMO
Just wanted to thank the devs for staying true to it's original vision.

We try to have users be appreciative of the rare asset they hold and share curriculum on blog, like http://unobtanium.uno/blog/bash-unobtanium-tools-generating-an-uno-address-offline-with-diceware.html

Uno has some parallels as far as rarity -it may or may not drum up some added exposure if you added a collectible dimension to the vision. Just a thought. Ride the waves while they swell.

crypto illiterate is the 99.9% but it is no help that CMC has decided to not calculated UNO's marketcap, thus invisible to those researching. We need to circulate a list of bitcoin core projects that are older than 1500days. Then give it to the markcap websites, so you can filter search by age and code base. UNO in a nut shell to the illiterates ... Do you know Doge? yes. Ok do you know why Doge is important? (rhetorical) Because it is merge mined with LTC and reached coinbase/reward maturity. UNO is exactly the same, but older and stronger (because sha256 is 2 orders more hash power). Where Doge may function as Elon's coins for the common people. UNO functions as the original value storage vault. For the guys that mine BTC BTC.

Most of the UNO was mined 2013-2015 by guys with asics, or gpu farms. They had the ability to mine BTC but opted to mine UNO. Then UNO switched to merge mining so you could mine both UNO and BTC. For the last 2-3 years only professional ASIC pools can mine UNO. So yes UNO is only mined by guys or gals with the hash-power to mine BTC.

Unobtanium has a CoinLore page. Not a bad place to get aggregated UNO stats & info. https://www.coinlore.com/coin/unobtanium

Unobtanium is an auxPow coin, which means it can be mined simultaneously with Bitcoin.
Merge Mine Unobtanium to make Bitcoin mining more profitable. Enjoy receiving UNO rewards while you wait to hit a block on Bitcoin.

Looks like I lost my 100 UNO on cryptsy forever. I checked all my old computer's folders. Cryptsy was a big lesson for me. Never store your coins on exchange. Only good news is I never paid for Unobtanium. It was from giveaway.

That was a damn good give-a-away. Do you remember any more about that? I remember there was the 100 uno 'blue crypto award'. But other than that, I don't know who would voluntarily give someone 100 uno.
But yes, Cryptsy was a debacle. We still have hounds searching for Paul Vernon in China.

Hey, Miners! Now is a great time to add Unobtanium/UNO to your Bitcoin mining operation using AuxPow/Merge Mining. Not long ago, UNO's hash rate was pushing 15 EHS! But thanks to Chinese miners shutting down, we have seen a huge decrease in difficulty. I can't remember a more profitable time to mine Unobtanium! Unobtanium has been a valuable cryptocurrency since 2013, and is one of the oldest viable crypto projects in existence. Make your Sha256 mining activities even more profitable by adding UNO. More info at https://unobtanium.uno Most of the day to day discussion about UNO is on Telegram. Join us: t.me/unobtaniumUno

Hey market aggregators!
Get your sh*t together.
Nearly every market aggregator copy-pastes the API feed from coinmarketcap.com (which is BNB).
They (who is BNB) have ignored/deleted the coin supply which is free API public info, via, chainz/tokenview/others.
Other qualified blockchains suffering the same fate :: Aurora, GoldCoin, Clam, and Unobtanium. Others?
Seems intentional censorship.
Loads of verifiable dead shit coins are tracked and ranked high above, even more faux tokens, yet here we are, hidden REAL marketcap.
I feel like there is CAUSE for unity with the fellow classic blockchains to organize with right-minded aggregators and standardized a list of classic blockchains @+7yrs.

UnoRe looks exactly like a scam token. They've hijacked the 8 years of good will that Unobtanium has brought to the UNO ticker symbol.
I don't want to hear from any more people who bought UnoRe and now want to transfer that "token" to their UNO wallet. It can't be done.
Beware of SCAMS like UnoRe that apparently are so inept that they can't even choose an appropriate ticker symbol.

In the Telegram thread, we have been talking about switching Uno from POW to POS. The reason for the discussion is that hash has seen a steep drop from 15,000 PHS last year to about 1-10 PHS today. This has caused the blockchain to slow. 20 Uno blocks are supposed to be produced every hour, but as I write this, we've head only 10 blocks in the past 11 hours. With the price of Bitcoin, its difficult to interest large miners to merge mine UNO with BTC. Some will have strong feelings about this, and its only a discussion, but I wanted to put it out there so we can get your opinion. The benefit of moving to POW would be to enable mining on gpu/cpu, which could increase the number of nodes on the network, and steady block production. Nothing else about Uno would change: block time, reward, scarcity would all stay the same. https://t.me/unobtaniumuno
