Moolah said in a blog post yesterday:

"At this stage, we are not removing any coins from [MintPal] V1 in the migration. Every coin currently on the platform will be given a chance to prove itself, though every coin will also be eligible for delisting as per our previously published guidelines (ref: route to removal). "

It's official. Un is no longer in imminent danger of being delisted from MintPal v2. Thank you to those of you who stepped in to lobby Moolah on behalf of Un.

that is great news.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

@ Gustav:

'14.8'! Got it.

Now, I am not bein' a smart-arse; I genuinely want to learn: so, a vault-coin would benefit from being enthusiastically traded by its community? (and I have waited ages to ask this: both in-house trades and all actual commercial transactions are separate from the exchange stats, is that right?)

14.8 on low volume Cheesy
lololol i think uno could be rising for months at this rate. The halving will double the number. In-house-trades haven't been included. Also not coinbroker.io i think. Coinmarketcap could very likely show wrong numbers (displays 1$ coinbroker which sure is wrong data). So the Volume was very likely a lot higher.
Maybe coinmarketcap isn't really suited for the calculations. Maybe i'd have to get the number directly from the exchanges next time. The exact number could in reality be like 20 or 25 ... next time i calculate i'll get the data directly from exchange. It is really hard to get accurate data. I would take the 14.8 as a minimum.

look at it. VTC need 50 times the volume Uno does to break even. Uno competes with absolute small volume with the insanely high volume coins. What happens when Uno would be traded on 100btc volume a day? The indicator goes through the roof. Uno is really bigger than bitcoin, people just need to realize. Uno is more friendly to its investors for sure than any other coin. Store of value : approved

Guys, I am a retired technical-writing tutor. Here's a tip about communicating with The 99% (and it took me too long to get my head around the fact of it . . . ):

Too much data.
Attention spans v. short.
So, Less is More. E.g.:

"Coin: Unobtanium
Basic Stats: 'long-term' POW. No inflation.
Price stability: http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/unobtanium
Devs: still on board
Android wallet: yes (prototype)
Quality of community? Come and see for yourself!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500.new#new "

@ Mona Coin: they are the only altcoin ahead of us -- but check their 365-chart. We don't know if it will stabilise; but it has been dropping steadily since The Big Spike. The very day it slips 'under the mark,' Unobtanium becomes the indisputable front-runner established crypto-graphic currency.

come on guys ..i have 100 UNO , i see people talking about 300 UNO in port .
UNO moves sideways , if everyone uses 5 bitcoin for daily selling and buying (more than once) things changes and UNO moves higher in the rankings . profit doesnt matter  , look at the longterm .

This is ridiculous.

A few days ago, when people were talking about cheap UNO had become, I bought some BTC on Coinbase with USD (it's a LOT cheaper to buy it there compared to Cryptsy) and then moved them over to Cryptsy in order to buy some UNO with that BTC.

Went out on the town, came back, and UNO had started taking off.  So I decided to wait for a fallback.

So here it is now, BTC is continuing to plunge below $400 USD, whereas UNO's USD price at CoinmarketCap.com hovers around $1.90 USD!

Don't think I want to spend cheap BTC on UNO.  When and where are we going to be able to buy UNO for USD directly?

Take a look at this chart:  http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/unobtanium/#charts

@ Apology to Bitcoin National: I only listed his Un-Ex enterprise -- trading cryptos, and underwriting other traders -- this morning.

@ Jelks: wish I had cheap BTC to spend on Uno!!

http://www.coindesk.com/cryptocurrency-miners-turn-exotic-cooling-systems-competition-heats/

'to develop a liquid immersion cooling system for the firm’s miners, in conjunction with materials science giant 3M.'

Does this make 3M the first in a new Category of Involvement? not accepting or trading, but mainstream companies involved in crypto-tech development. It's hard not to believe that that they have a couple of crypto geeks on the payroll.

with all those exchanges and other good new things a small ecosystem around uno is emerging. I think the future is bright for the No1 anti-inflation-commodity on the planet.
Good to be here before massadoption Smiley

Just added [Suspicious link removed] to the OP.

If you know of any other pools that should be on the list (or dead pools that should be removed), LMK.

It's not just a resource for miners, but also a contact list should we need to get in contact with miners.

Just sent the below email to info@coin-pool.org:

[subject: The UNO pool is down]

I had been getting 1-2 UNOs regularly every day from uno.coin-pool.org dumped into my wallet.  Then inexplicably it skipped Sept. 18th.  I then got ONE on the 19th.  Since then, nothing.

And I just noticed my 2 Antminers are reporting that "stratum+tcp://uno.coin-pool.org:3331" is "Dead".

My UNO address is

uPh3mybL1wrguTAuqBbbU3c5fvxcsMRE9Y

Any advice?

Thanks,

The Unobtanium community is lucky to have two providers of dice games. These games help utilize the network and create fees for miners, while at the same time letting you try your luck and enjoy your Uno. These dice providers also help the network by keeping useful nodes online, ensuring that you'll always find peers when your client connects to the Uno network.

There are a variety of games offered. The dice games are very simple and are an easy way to begin your gambling addiction Wink.  First, go to the dice website and select your game.

Games are offered in a variety of odds.  My favorites are the 75%, 78% games. That means I have a 75-78% chance of winning. The higher the odds of winning, the lower the payout.  Games range from 98% to 1%.

After your game is selected, copy the address and send whatever amount of Un you want to risk.  It can take a few minutes, but eventually you either receive your winnings, or if you lose a small of amount of Un will be returned to your wallet as an acknowledgement. The games also show the latest winners/losers on their site.

Here are the two game sites:

http://cryptap.us/uno/dice

https://gameofdice.com/UNO

If you've never tried it, give it a shot. Supporting the network, our service providers and miners can be a lot of fUN with Dice!

I should add that the games at cryptap.us are provably fair, meaning that you can verify that I have not rigged the odds. There is a bit of python code at the bottom of the page you can use to check my work.

Prediction (details on request):

the price of oil will tend downward over 2015 and 2016. The price of established cryptos will move inversely.
