Do you think Arteta is good enough (and talented enough) to help Arsenal win the Premier League? It seems as though the club have found the right man to stay as their manager for the long term and the man has found the club to be the perfect option for him. If he is given time, I think Arteta will win the Premier League within four years and Arsenal could dominate European football alongside Liverpool and Chelsea for the next few years.

So yeah, with that argument, we could both agree that Arteta is a good manager, possibly great in the future granting that he finds the right club.  And I think that club is City.

Totteham and Chelsea are currently rebuilding, and it will take Arteta some time to bring things together, but I doubt he would last long with any of those teams- inpatient owners

Brighton beat Chelsea, Brentford beat Manchester United and in the other game Crystal Palace beat Liverpool in games that demonstrated the gap between the so-called big teams and small teams is becoming marginal.

^  That's what I'm saying...  With Arteta, give him a 4 year contract, a decent transfer budget and he'll rebuild the City squad into title contenders by the third year.  He's not like Guardiola who's going to ask for a huge transfer budget and go for the jugular in his first year.  But I wouldn't be surprised if Txiki will want it to happen that way for Arteta.

Anyway, Fulham could win in this spot against Aston Martin as the home squad isn't really doing so well from the looks of it.

Aston Villa were in desperate need of a win and they got a big win against Fulham to make the home fans happy. It might give Watkins a lot of confidence going forward as he scored today.

As for Newcastle United, they were minutes away from winning 1-0 but two late goals from Arsenal gave them the three points instead. Arsenal are now in second place, two points behind leaders Liverpool.

After Ferguson the only name I can think of that had longevity was Wenger at Arsenal from 1996 to 2018. The difference between the two was massive because Ferguson was a serial Premier League winner whereas Wenger won seven FA Cups and just three Premier Leagues (the last in 2004). Somehow Wenger managed to stay in his job for 14 years without winning the Premier League.

Having said that, the days where any manager would stay at a club for a long period are over.

It's more likely a gentleman's agreement.  And arguing for Mascara and Kompany is weak as it wasn't really implied because Guardiola didn't really treat both of those guys the same way as Arteta.  From what we've seen while Arteta was still at City, Guardiola was treating him the same way as he treated Tito Vilanova at Barca...

He was his right hand man and earmarked to be his successor.  Mascara and Kompany are far from these.  But if for some reason City fails to get Arteta, I think they'll go for Kompany.  With the blessing of Guardiola of course.

Bournemouth vs Fulham

I think Bournemouth should win the game without much difficulty. A win would take them up to 2nd place in the Premier League table and that would be nothing less than they deserve. Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Bournemouth are occupying third, fifth and sixth position in the table and it is great to see smaller clubs doing well.

^  I'm with you on Bournemouth but as we already have seen with Marco Silva, he could make this tough away match up a draw and get a point out of it.  I'm thinking some thing like 1 - 1 or even 2 - 2.  And if either club wins it's gonna be a couple of goals against one.

So from a betting perspective, the BTTS and over 2.5 combo at 2.29 could be good in this spot.  But if you really wanna back Bournemouth, maybe take Bournemouth to win and over 2.5 combo at 3.05.  That's a pretty nice line imho.

So far, at the start of this season, Bournemouth have performed quite well. They have only lost once so far. This time, the result was a 1-3 victory over Fulham. This was their victory after two consecutive draws. Samenyo played impressively this time, scoring two goals, even in very late time. And now, Bournemouth goes up to second place of Premier League.

In this match, both sides played fairly evenly. Fulham also made several attacks that threatened Bournemouth's back line, but their defense was strong enough. Out of 12 shots, only one goal was scored. Meanwhile, Bournemouth's attacking was more effective this time, so with a similar number of shots, Bournemouth actually managed to score 3 goals.

It was not straightforward, Fulham took the lead late in the second half but eventually Bournemouth scored three (including two very late) goals to win the game 3-1.As a result of that win, Bournemouth are now in second place in the Premier League table. Congratulations to them.

Liverpool were beaten in three consecutive games this season. Two were in the Premier League in 2-1 away games at Crystal Palace and Chelsea. The other was a Champions League game. Liverpool seem to have problems. Caicedo scored a stunning goal to give Chelsea the lead, they deserved the win.

There was nothing exceptional about what Van Nistelrooy did; the matches he won were games Tang could have won if he had remained in charge, so there was nothing special about him.  They needed someone with first-team managerial experience, and at the time, Amorim was one of Europe's hottest managers.

Can't blame whoever hired Amorim no one saw this coming, I personal thought he was the best choice after seeing what he did at SL. Give him till the end of the season maybe.

If we look at this season alone and the league table, Man United isn't doing so badly. They're 6 points behind the leader, which isn't much. The problem is that we look at Man United with the history of the last two seasons, especially the last one, which were a real failure.

The problem is much bigger than the coach; Amorim only further exposed the issue. Now it's time to see if he can truly turn the team around—he's showing signs, but we'll see.
