When he played for Manchester United and now at Barcelona, it is clear Rashford definitely has never deserved £325,000 per week. As for his market value, £26 million is very cheap therefore as Barcelona are struggling for cash they will probably reject the option to buy him. That means there will be other clubs that will be willing to make a bid as long as he is willing to take a pay cut. I cannot see him going back to Manchester United.

Did you hear about Sterling and Chelsea coming together to terminate his contract early? He is a free agent now and can sign for any club that is willing to take a chance on him.

That's a cheap deal all thanks to Amorim but I'm certain Barcelona won't be able to afford it, they're just going to milk him and let him go after the season so they will be able to register another kid in his place. He's worth more than £26m in today's market but no where near £325k/week.

I mean sure...  But compare the pressure a manager receives between Real Madrid and Liverpool, from what we've seen the Real Madrid brass is way more demanding with their managers than the guys at Fenway Sports Group. 

Alonso will prolly be give another season in Liverpool and his history at the club will be seriously considered...  In Real Madrid?  Nope! 

Real Madrid are used to winning, they give their managers the best they could so the pressure is normal if things aren't going well. When you come to a club as big as Madrid, you're expected to start winning trophies from the first season no excuses.

The fans have got no respect for anyone there, their love language is trophy, if you're not winning, you're enemy.

Liverpool waited 30yrs to win their first EPL title - that's a lot of patient.

Yup...  It takes a special kind of manager to manage at Real Madrid.  Guys like the Mourinho old, Zidane, Ancelotti have 'it'.  And it's either you have 'it' or you don't.  With Alonso, not saying that he doesn't have 'it'.  I'm just saying that an unbeaten run for one season in the Bundesliga doesn't really tell us if he really has 'it'.

Is he aware Slot just spent 500m a few months ago? If those players ain't good enough to make something out of them then he's definitely not the one for the job. No way he's getting anything near that amount unless he wins the league.

Salah signed two years contract extension last April, he's 100% leaving this summer, he's already on the wrong side with the club and manager they're only playing him to keep him in good form to get some value out of him in the summer.

Xabi is out of job and suddenly Arne Slot became prime Pep. Trying so hard to not lose the job.

The problem for Sterling now is that his reputation precedes him. Managers that might want to take a chance on him because of his past form will have to consider whether they want to risk upsetting the balance they have in the changing room. He had a brilliant opportunity at Arsenal when he was on loan last season. When he was selected, he was not playing well. He failed to impress Arteta and the fans therefore he had to return to Chelsea.

The contract termination fee was not disclosed  to the public but I'm sure we pay a huge sum to get him off our books - Sterling is not someone who would Walk away for free to secure his future, Instead he went home without playing. He was asked to keep fit and play with the U21 team he refused.

He was a big liability left by the old administration just like Lukaku. Sterling Europe career is over, the best for him is somewhere in the East or retire.

Now if the contract was terminated early and he received a massive pay he will find it difficult for any Premier League team to take a chance on him. He will probably have offers to join the abroad but I cannot see any Premier League club signing him.

Manchester City do not lose a two goal lead often. It was good to see Tottenham fight back in the second half to draw the game 2-2 but they had chances to win too. There was a massive difference in the team that went in two goals down at the break and the one that came out to play the second half.

Arsenal increased their lead with a big win at Leeds United.Aston Villa lost, Manchester City had a draw and Manchester United won again. The top four looks interesting now that Manchester United is a point above Chelsea. Under Arteta Arsenal have always lost momentum towards the final part of the season, I think they might lose it again.

I think Slot could have another year if the Alonso negotiations get a little complicated.  And we know complications arise when it comes to the transfer budget.  As you said, Alonso might not get what he wants as the club already spent a lot on transfers with Slot.

Maybe they should've taken it more slowly like how Arteta did it with Arsenal..?

He didn't want to play in the East, some clubs came for him and he refused to move - it was Europe or nothing so the club got pissed and forced him out. Sterling and his agent didn't bother looking for clubs  to sign to.

I don't think Gerrard is an option at all. After excellent results with Rendzers, he did not manage well with Villa, and he also did not have much success in the Saudi League. I don't think Liverpool will take any chances with him. The hype was created by fans desperate with Slot and poor results.
They have now signed Jeremy Jacquet, and with the last few good results, it seems he will continue with Slot.
