Aston Villa lost at home to Brentford, they would not want to drop more points therefore I expect them to beat Bournemouth. What are your views on the Liverpool vs Manchester City game?

Bounermouth - Aston Villa would be an interesting and open attacking game from both side but I'm always against "draw" tips. I'm more confident in Aston Villa & BTTS at 4.20. Fulham - Everton is a game that could go either way; every punt on that one is valid but I'll pick BTTS on that one for safe.

Now they're in a proper title race run-in, and the pressure is on Arsenal; let's see how they finish the month of January, and don't forget, they were leading comfortably at the same time last season before losing the lead to Manchester City in May, so anything could happen, and there's still plenty of time.

Aston Villa being 3rd and continue to win their games is not looking good for Liverpool chances of making the top 4 this season. Chelsea and Manchester united have some decent upcoming fixtures unlike Liverpool

Anyway, what are you guys betting this weekend.  I'm looking for high odds with decent chances of the result happening.  Something like a draw for Bournemouth vs Aston Villa and BTTS at 4.10.    I'm also liking the draw no bet for Everton at 2.55.  The genius Moyes will strike again. 

What do you guys think?

I got 2 out of 2 this weekend with decent odds.    And the funny part is the genius Moyes strikes again.  Lolol.    There's just something about the guy if he manages a somewhat stable club.  If United just stuck with him to run the club and bring stability, I think the transition to a more high profile manager would have been easier.

And City won a very important match.  Their title hopes are still alive.

Described the situation more better - Slot has been poor in in-game management this season. This is not the first or second time they're losing from a winning position this season. He needs to fix up and I think England still have the 5 slots for next season CL.

It was a massive result when Manchester City beat Liverpool at Anfield because it keeps them in the title chase. If Arsenal collapse again just as they do every season and fail to win the Premier League, is it only Manchester City that can catch them? Aston Villa are dropping too many points whereas Manchester United have made a late charge towards to the top three but is it too late for them to aim higher?

Now that both Manchester United and Chelsea dropped an important points midway to 3rd; Aston Villa are going to make sure they win the next game to extend their lead to +2 points. Now I have strong feelings about your Aston Villa &1.5 tips more than ever.

Arsenal are playing away this evening at Brentford. They will be feeling the pressure because Aston Villa and Manchester City won their games and we are nearing the time of the season when Arsenal usually collapse and do not recover to make a serious challenge to win the Premier League. I am confident Thiago will score for Brentford, whether it will be enough to win the game or not is a different question.

^  Wups, the gap is just 4 points now from 6 after the draw against Brentford.  I think that not including the match against Man City, Arsenal could get a couple more draws in the next 6 fixtures or they could even get a loss.  This is gonna get really interesting.

What are the prop bet odds for Man City to win the league?  That thing should be going up by now.  Arsenal's schedule isn't that easy with them still in the UCL.  And are they still in domestic cup games?

Are we gonna see Arsenal finally crack under pressure and get one L?  That's all Man City needs to gain the momentum back for their title run.

Not really sure what the lines are but will look into gambling on the draw no bet or the double chance for Tottenham.

The " near success" syndrome is beginning to kick in, Last season, they bottled up a good advantage around this time. Two London derbies are not what you want in a title run like this, and they both have nothing to lose; Arsenal will not come out of this alive. If they survive without losing a point, they may win the league, but I don't see it happening.


Manchester City simply just need to win their games to put more pressure on Arsenal. They hate that kind of pressure.

Arsenal play away at Wolves, I will not be surprised if that game ends in a draw. As far as the derby against Tottenham is concerned, Arsenal will play away at a very hostile and eager-to-win Tottenham Hotspur stadium. They have just sacked Frank therefore the players will want to win that game at any cost because it will involve damaging Arsenal hopes of winning the Premier League.

Arsenal on the other hand might accept a win and a draw but both Wolves and Tottenham will have belief that they can win their respective games. If they drop points and at the same time Aston Villa beat Leeds United (and then later on Saturday Manchester City beat Newcastle United), Arsenal might not be able to recover because they are under immense pressure.

I cannot see them beating Wolves and then Tottenham. If they win both games they will put the pressure back on Manchester City and Aston Villa.

RESULT:

Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-2 Arsenal

You were right, Arsenal did drop points but the way they did it was strange. They were leading 2-0 away from home against bottom of the Premier League table Wolves and should have won comfortably yet they conceded two goals. The game ended in a 2-2 draw but conceding a goal in time stoppage time demonstrates Arsenal are probably not ready to be thinking about winning the Premier League.

Now it means both Aston Villa and Manchester City will have a chance to close the gap to five and two points respectively as they will play their games at home on Saturday but Arsenal play away at Tottenham on Sunday.

I feel they would drop points against Wolves tonight- I'm going with BTS & 2.5 for safe.

Not going to expect much against us cause we haven't beaten Arteta side since he took over but I have high hopes on Brighton and Bournemouth to pick up some points from Arsenal before the title deciding game against Manchester city at the Etihad Stadium in GW35

^  Oof ige...  Nice call, I really didn't expect that one.  Lol.  So now it's making the next couple of matches more interesting for Arsenal.  The first one is against Tottenham which has gotten really weak thru the years but it's the North London derby and it's an away game for Arsenal.  There's some pressure there.  And there's the next fixture.  Chelsea!  More pressure mounts.  Lol.

Not to mention there's gonna be a cup game against City in a month or so.  If they get a trashing, it could affect them in the league.
