You were right, Arsenal did drop points but the way they did it was strange. They were leading 2-0 away from home against bottom of the Premier League table Wolves and should have won comfortably yet they conceded two goals. The game ended in a 2-2 draw but conceding a goal in time stoppage time demonstrates Arsenal are probably not ready to be thinking about winning the Premier League.

Now it means both Aston Villa and Manchester City will have a chance to close the gap to five and two points respectively as they will play their games at home on Saturday but Arsenal play away at Tottenham on Sunday.

The team spirit and mentality is weak and that has been their story in the last 7 games - they come into most games " not to lose" and that has been their problem. Now the pressure is back on them and they have the toughest fixtures too. Let's see what Newcastle United have under their sleeves for Manchester city this weekend.

Not to mention there's gonna be a cup game against City in a month or so.  If they get a trashing, it could affect them in the league.

Yes, player fitness management is one of the key elements which are neglected by managers such as Arteta in their quest to win. Inviting a powerful team to each of the cup events is a very high risk to the long term results so important to us in the title race. I believe that the option of sacrifices in the secondary tournaments can prove to be effective in preserving our major aim in the cut throat domestic league. Concerning the betting of this weekend, we would have found it very persuasive to be betting on the fact that we will see Arsenal, Chelsea, City, and Liverpool, win. Pre-eminence of these large clubs is what I find as not easily conquered by mid-table clubs in an ordinary situation. This winning streak would be a very rewarding thing to those of us who have taken all the factors into consideration in the match.

These are the results of the latest game played on Saturday 21st February:

Aston Villa 1-1 Leeds United
Brentford 0-2 Brighton and Hove Albion
Chelsea 1-1 Burnley
West Ham United 0-0 Bournemouth
Manchester City 2-1 Newcastle United

As a result of Manchester City winning their game against Newcastle United, all of the pressure will be on Arsenal tomorrow when they travel away at Tottenham for the North London derby. I am sure the Tottenham fans would want to see Arsenal lose the game and drop more points as Manchester City are closing in. Nottingham Forest 0-1 Liverpool
Sunderland 1-3 Fulham
Tottenham Hotspur 1-4 Arsenal

The top of the Premier League just got more exciting as Tottenham lost at home to Arsenal. Now Manchester City will have to win their next game otherwise Arsenal could increase the gap. Also, Liverpool scored a  very late stoppage time goal to win at Nottingham Forest.

Chelsea problem is far more than tactical problems; it is inexperienced thing and no manager can change that - we've been facing the wrong problem ( managers) while the actual problem are the players. I doubt it, If they wanted instant Success Liam Rosenior wouldn't have made it and not with the current players we have. The owners knows it but are just pretending to care while solely focusing on developing the young players to sell/loan them off for profits

They spent big in the summer and literally have 3 players in every position, they were stacked at the beginning of the season and their fans were bragging about it- the problem is Arteta not trusting some of those players and relying heavily on some certain players. Injuries also messed things up but all the players are almost back now.

They have enough squad depth but no enough quality depth to compete for all those trophies; they'd have to sacrifice the league cups for major trophies.

We haven't beaten them in a long time, we're their bitch and they might just fuck us up again like everytime. Beating them to help City would be the proudest moment for some of us this season.

The problem is far more leaned towards delivering results, especially in this crucial moments-- where every single step you take is a calculated risk of either staying at the top and winning this trophy, or falling back to the 2nd or 4th position as usual, than it is trust issues. He just wants to make sure that the right tool is being put to use, on the right spot, at the right time.

Chelsea signing these young players (and now a young manager) on long term contracts only make sense as long as they are performing in their roles. The moment the board want a replacement, the long term contracts become a problem. Sterling is a prime example of how it can go wrong when players that are deemed to be surplus to requirements can stay without moving and keep receiving their salary.

Afaik, this is not a racial problem, given that Saka plays every single game. So it's either an effect of the personal vendetta with the manager like you said, or he hasn't just played well enough-- in his(the manager) own ratings, to retain a permanent position. Does that make his move from Crystal Palace to Arsenal a risky one, considering his age?

I am not happy with the manner they treated Maresca. He was doing a reasonable job before he resigned. If Maresca had Palmer consistently from the beginning of the season, Chelsea would have had more points and everything would have been different. Now they have to start all over again with a new manager bringing in his own ideas.

Arsenal are at home to Chelsea, then away at Brighton. Then they have home games against Everton and Bournemouth. I cannot see Arsenal winning all four games. Manchester City are away at Leeds United, then home against Nottingham Forest. Then they are away at West Ham United and Chelsea. In their four games I cannot see Manchester City winning all of their games either.

Yeah..  I guess with Arsenal having a drought, winning the league will be a huge deal for the club since when did they win it last?  It was the Invincibles season with Arsene Wenger.  Was it 2004?  Lol.  That's a long drought. 

And winning the UCL with the EPL..?  It will make Arteta immortal and open doors for a Barca or Real Madrid gig for him in the future.
