looks like Preston decided to change history, and in the process they ended West Brom unbeaten home run record since 2021. Further West Brom were booed which shows their fans didn’t like their performances at all, and this is a worrying sign for them and if they don’t find a quick fix for this then it’ll hurt their chances of winning the title.
Crazy result and I could never saw this happening, but maybe someone earned good profits betting on Preston.
West Brom can't win the title if they continue playing like this, and I think that thei play-off position is also in question.

New round is already starting tomorrow and there is no time for regrets, so are shifting focus on twelve new matches.
One match is played tomorrow Huddersfield vs Stoke, this is one tricky to predict.
Huddersfield is in good form but Stoke is much better in H2H matches and they won five from last eight H2H matches.
This could be a draw, but Huddersfield has a great opportunity to overcome West Brom and take 5th position on table in play-off zone.

If West Brom actually wants to when they have to play better and win everything that there is to be won. They cannot drop points even from one match if they want to win the title. Because you know, the point difference is really huge from the first team.

Huddersfield is just behind West Brom by one point and both their next game will be crucial for them and we would be able to see if Huddersfield can at once one position or West Brom would be able to hold onto their position.

By the way, if West Brom wins and QPR loses their next match, West Brom will be able to advance one position as they have a better goal difference than QPR.

Actually, they have 29 points from 27 matches and that alone can sum up the situation therein. They cannot seem to win almost everything at this point but I have to say that in their last five matches they have won only one, but that was against Blackburn who is the second-placed team. Anyway, I also don't see Hull City in the Premier League at any time soon. And I honestly don't understand about the money that is being spent on.
But on the other hand they are now starting a good trend.
Their last 2 matches were successful with 2 absolute wins and this can be used as a reference and encouragement for them and fortunately they will still be competing with a team that is indeed the same as they are today and I think they can get more points later when they meet Swansea City next week

Johnny come lately here, didn't even really realise (or maybe forgot) that there was a Championship thread here. Who else has been making great wins with Derby? After their recent form, though, bookies have wisened up. No more 5/1 or 6/1 odds for them when fighting fellow stragglers. I'd still take bets on them to survive the drop if I could find any.

Preston to win again today with Bristol City their next victims? Wink

Acun Ilıcalı do weird things in Hull City. After he bought the club manager Grant McCann is fired and Shota Arveladze started working. They also bought Allahyar from Fenerbahçe for very high transfer fee. I have doubts about how Shota perform in Championship League, he only managed mid class teams in Türkiye and Özbekistan.
I don't know if Acun Ilıcalı have different plans but I don't see Hull City in Premier League soon. I don't think he will spend more money to do that honestly.

No doubt they are not going to promote in this season but still it's very good results in last 2 matches first Blackburn and then Bournemouth both currently at second and third rank teams in Championship table, but maybe they are going for some long term planning and have in mind they will do some good with next season at top flight and then promotion into Premier League because as Acun Ilucali is spending he has something in his mind for this all.

But, bringing Shota from Turkey to in this Championship is not good decision from him because it's completely different and most chances he can face some big troubles because quality level is completely different in these countries and here in England which need some good time to manage which is not easy for this average person.

Hey, seems like Preston almost did it yesterday huh? Too bad they had to mount a fightback first, but gotta really enjoy being a Derby fan now. Protesting all their worth since morning but if they secure a win (as favourites no less) I feel like they could just about string together something special... As it will be 3 points to safety then!

Kickoff now. Enjoy!

The new coach has played in Rangers in his athlete career but even though he has some European experience as a player, it is highly doubtful that he can manage a championship league team. As it was mentioned above, he only managed bad teams actually. It is totally unknown how he can do in England and just because the new owner of the club is Turkish, it would not be acceptable for a lot of people. I don't know if they claim to have a long term plan with him, but I seriously doubt they can have any success.

Tomorrow again Preston is going to be play with Millwal who is at 15th place in the table. Can not assume or bet on anyone as not sure who will win the match as both teams' performances are not upto the mark so unable to decide on whom to bet. On 3rd and 5th, 6 matches are going to take place but Only Blackburn Rovers from the top list is playing with Swansea which is going to be much easier for Blackburn Rovers to add up another win to their table.

Last round was very interesting with Fulham getting only a draw and keeping race for championship title alive.
Mitrovic scored again but they couldn't hold the lead in second half, and maybe we are starting to see comeback of Bournemouth who won against Barnsley.
During this midweek we have eight matches, with Swansea - Millwall vs Preston and Swansea vs Luton starting tomorrow.

Millwall was not in good form but they managed to win in last match and they have score in H2H matches with Preston, so I believe they will not lose in this match.
Both teams are missing some players and Preston is playing decently in last few rounds, so I would not exclude draw but I give slight advantage to home team.
Second match is similar, Swansea has better H2H score but they are weaker than in last few years and they are very unpredictable.

Millwall - Preston
Swansea - Luton
Barnsley - Cardiff
Huddersfield - Derby
Birmingham - Sheffield Utd
Blackpool - Bristol City
Hull -Preston
Swansea - Blackburn

Millwall has better odds to win this match @2.3, In that case, standings will change for sure. But Preston will surely try to at least get a draw.

and I  think Swansea city has lost the power and strength they had a few years back stand are far weaker now. So, in my opinion, Luton town has a better chance of winning against Swansea City, though the odds are telling the opposite thing.
Swansea- @2.3, Luton- @3.2

I would also say that Swansea should have a better chance of beating Luton than the other way around. But Swansea's performance this season hasn't been the best. They are almost 10 points behind Luton, which shows their difference. Honestly, I would bet more for a draw, that wouldn't surprise me. But from Luton's current performance, maybe he even has a better chance of getting the win.

The possibility for one team to win the match I think is very small because indeed the two teams at this time when viewed from their strengths are quite balanced and judging from the performance of the two teams are also almost the same and indeed still not consistent in maintaining the trend.
I personally would prefer to be in a draw for the current bet because it is very likely that they will draw I think
I also feel same for this match most chances we will have draw case in this match but for Millwall they play 5 matches and won 2 and lost three mostly they are not going to draw and on other side Preston having 1 win 3 draws with this all most chances we will have draw or Preston win option because they are improving their performance and trying to have some better results from every match Millwall is also available for some interesting result but right now they are not good as they need to be.

After this match both teams are going to face some fascinating opponents as well because Millwall is going to visit leaders Fulham and Preston is going to visit Hull which is also having very good record in last few matches after arrival of new owner and management.

I just noticed the thread.  It should be bumped more imo.  I think I should be more aware of what’s going on at the top of the Championship too and see see who gets promoted rather than just focusing on the EPL relegation scrap.  Cheesy  Maybe even get some side bets going.

Anyway, clubs I want to see go up are Blackburn Rovers, QPR and don’t really care for the third.  Would’ve loved to see Swansea back in the EPL but they’re near bottom.  :/

And if anybody has streams for this, pm them to me.  Thanks.

Thanks.
Your both desired teams have fair enough chance for promotion in next season, but sadly Blackburn Rower is losing points which can hurt them for this because they were good but recently losing points on a crucial stage is really poor from them and QPR is also having good results now we have 18 rounds left in this season and still many changes can happen Bournemouth and West Brom both suddenly also lost their spots and now have some very tough competition from Blackburn Rower and few other teams for staying into promotion hunt. After many poor seasons now Middleborough is also enjoying good spot and can fight for promotion with their current form is also very good against all teams, Fulham is really team to watch as they are ruining all opponents.

Today EFL English Championship is having 2 matches and right now we are heading for end of first half with both matches are without any goal but here is Derby which is already facing some serious financial issues having very early red card against Huddersfield which is already at fifth place and with win of this match looking for having some strong case for playing play-offs for promotion into Premier League for next season and Derby is now all set for relegation to League one because they are already lost 21 points from The FA due to their issue and right now 23rd ranked with very few hopes to stay here.

In other match, Cardiff vs Barnsley is also goalless and Barnsley is also having no hope of staying here as they are at bottom with just 15 points.

Cardiff did a great job winning against weak Barnsley who had many injured players and they are going down to relegation if they continue like this.
It's going to be battle between Derby and Barnsley because only one of this two teams can try to survive in Championship boat.
Derby losing against Huddersfield today is making this harder for manager Wayne Rooney.
There are four more matches in midweek round and then we move to FA Cup matches this weekend...

Derby had a tough time yesterday playing against Huddersfield and ended it with 0 shot on target. Although, they got a one man down just 3 minutes into the game, But despite that thy were still able to resist Huddersfield through out the first half.  They ended the first half in goalless draw. But, Huddersfield made two goals towards the end of the game, and probably won. Derby is having a bad season, and it seems they are likely to get relegated at the end of this season. Because, they are currently at the 23th position on the table, with only 15 points.

I don’t know why didn’t Rooney leave when Everton came calling, because there’s nothing left for him to do at Derby and without fresh funds they were never going to improve. Lastly they’ll be indeed be relegated and it’s sad Rooney may even be out of a job, but to be honest there’s not much he could have done to prevent it.

The result was as initially expected because the two teams played in a draw.
there is no attack that really threatens, their game is monotonous and sometimes mostly just playing the ball in the middle of the field.
I give the credit score to the hosts, even though they lost in possession of the ball but their counter-attack was quite good but it's a shame this match didn't have any goals scored there

I am supporting Derby to survive in Championship this season and this would be true miracle, with -21 deducted points they would now be comfortable in midtable.
They are much better than Peterborough or Barnsley, but they would need to jump over Reading, Swansea or Cardiff and that won't be so easy.
First new chance is in few days at home stadium against Hull City, and they have good h2h record against them.

There is one match today in Championship Birmingham vs Sheffield Utd and I think bookies made mistake here making Sheffield a favorite to win.
Yes they are in good form now but Birmingham is not losing matches that easy and they have great record of not losing against Sheffield in last six h2h matches.
Away team is missing some players, and Birmingham have some new fresh players ready for this match.
My bet: Double Chance 1X
