Kickoff in just over three hours from now. Big big games with the winner earning not just promotion but literally tens of millions to spend on their team.

My backing goes to Brentford as mentioned before. Purely from a personal point of view,would love to see a new entrant in my lifetime of watching Prem League. The club that gave us Ollie Watkins can only be an exciting addition to the likes of Leeds.

Swansea aren't bad too but we've already seen them recently!

Bees are finally in Premier League!
Brentford won 2:0 in match against Swansea and it was fully deserved, with Ivan Toney scoring again and this was his 33 goal in this season.
I won a nice bet and this match was last on my ticket so I am very happy.

With this news we are taking a break from EFL Championship but we should come back on August 7th 2021 with the new season 2021/2022.
New clubs coming back are Fulham, West Bromwich Albion, Sheffield United, Hull City and Peterborough United.

I'm really happy that Brentford got promoted to Premier League. Last year I was so disappointed when they lost to Fulham. It's quite unique and interesting club. I like their manager and this club is good at transfer market. Also, they have new nice stadium.
Actually, I'm really happy about all 3 teams that got promoted to Premier League. Also, it's good to see Hull back to Championship. Bolton after few very difficult years goes up to League One.

@LTU_btc anyone who would have seen them play this season would attest that they truly deserved to be playing in the premier league, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they defeated few top teams once the new season starts. Furthermore Brentford have finally ended the curse of not winning the play-off campaigns, because they had lost 9 play-off campaigns before winning yesterday’s game.

Congratulations to Brentford! They got a huge win against Swansea (2-0) and have managed to advance to the Premier League. They would have even promoted to the PL directly if they didn't start getting bad results near the end of the regular season. But I really appreciated their performance that it still helped them promote.

We are slowly warming up for start of new EFL Championship season 2021–22: and we have 24 clubs competing again.
Big news is that Swansea City released their head coach Steve Cooper after coaching Swansea players since 2019, but he failed to promote them in Premier League in play-offs.
Wayne Rooney is still Derby County coach and he is pushing hard for new players signings, and Scott Parker signed a deal with Bournemouth after leaving Fulham.
West Bromwich Albion hired French coach Valerien Ismael after Sam Allardyce resigned.

EFL Championship is finally starting this week weekend and first match is played in Friday, Bournemouth vs West Bromwich Albion.
Bournemouth had a very good previous season and they managed to get in play-offs but Brentford was to strong for them and they qualified in Premier League.
They had two wins and two defeats in preparation and they finished with 5:0 win in Carabao Cup against MK Dons, they even played good friendly match against Chelsea but they lost it 2:1.
WBA is coming from Premier League and it's never easy to go in lower league but they should good result in preparations and lost only one match against Tamworth.
They have new coach Valérien Ismaël coming from Barnsley and they have new signing winger Adam Reach from Sheffield Wednesday.
This two teams played matches in history and home teams had advantage in most cases, that is something odds suggest for this match, but draw is always possible.

@Zilon it’s always fun to watch two ex premier league teams battling each other, and I expect these teams to give their very best thus making this a very exciting contest to watch. Furthermore I feel West Brom won’t give up so easily, and hence I expect them to win 1 - 0, but I must warn you’ll that it’s a risky idea to bet on them however my gut feeling says that they’ll win and I might wager a small bet to try my luck.

It was amazing first match Bournemouth vs West Brom with fans and lot of goals in new EFL Championship season and final result was 2:2 draw.
West Brom had much more shots on goal but Bournemouth was more effective, they had more ball possession and goal advantage two times but they couldn't keep it.

Now let's take a look at predictions for tomorrow, and there are some tricky matches to predicts, so don't go with high stakes while we feel the pulse.
First match is Blackburn vs Swansea and both teams crumbled in the finishing part of last season, Swansea released coach Copper and I don't see new players.
Last time Blackburn managed to win in match with Swansea was back in 2015 and I doubt they can repeat that now, even if odds suggest they are favorite here.
My bet: Draw, X2 double chance.

Derby vs Huddersfield
Coach Wayne Rooney will have very hard job making a team for this match with transfer embargo, and they only managed to survive in last round of precious season.
Last time Huddersfield won away at Derby stadium was 64 years ago but this jinx can break in this match and they are better team for sure.
Just to make sure my bet will be Asian Handicap 0 Away win, so in case of draw I am getting back my stake.

Cardiff vs Barnsley
Cardiff is much better in H2H against Barnsley but it's not going to be easy match to win and I expect to see goals in this match.
Barnsley had amazing coach and young team but this is now over as he moved to West Bromwich Albion, so the magic is gone.
My bets: Home win draw-no-bet, over 2.5 goals

Stoke City vs Reading has draw written all over.
Six from eight H2H matches ended as draw, and Reading didn't won against Stoke for decades, but they still have solid team and coach.
My bet: Draw (lower stakes)

We have many draws and home wins in todays matches of EFL Championship and only one match left to be played today is Sheffield Utd vs Birmingham.
Not great score for my first picks this season, Blackburn managed to win against Swansea with smart play they gave possession to Swansea and won 2:1 in the end.
Derby managed to hold a 1:1 draw with Huddersfield, so I git my stake back in this case, and same thing for Cardiff vs Barnsley.
Reading was holding a 2:2 draw with Stoke up until 85th minute when Surridge sealed the deal for 3:2 win in very interesting match.

We have two matches for tomorrow Fulham vs Middlesbrough and Coventry vs Nottingham.
My only pick would be Fulham home win, but odds are not that great and Middlesbrough is a solid team.

So many goals in the first half i just cannot believe that i picked Cardiff over 0.5 goals in first half. The only game that goal wasnt in first half. Even a disallowed goal due to offside. All games also came over 1.5 goals that is an unbelieveble statistics for the first round

A not so great start to the championship season with 4 statements in the first game week. Meanwhile Stoke, Blackburn, Luton, and Hull city all got off to a great start with 3 points in the bag. Who do you reckon would secure qualification to the premier league come May?

Five matches in EFL finished with draw 1:1 result after first round Hull City is leading the table and scored most goals so far.
Fulham had more ball possession, more shots on goal and they created more chances but failed to win with their new coach Silva.
Next few rounds will show the real strength and form of each team in this league, so my strategy is to make only bets with smaller stakes.

As the new season has already started, I wonder which teams will be the favorite for the title. In the last season, Swansea were so close to be the 3rd team promoting to the Premier League. But they were defeated by Brentford and missed the biggest opportunity. And they started the season not very well now also. They were defeated by Blackburn 2-1. I wonder whether they will have a similar season again.

Second round of EFL Championship is starting tomorrow and I will probably be busy and away this weekend so I am making few early picks.
Last round had some surprising results so we are going with lower stakes for all bets until we see form and condition of all teams.

Huddersfield vs Fulham
After only getting a draw result in first round, Fulham with new coach Silva must go for win against much weaker Huddersfield team, and I can only see away win here.
H2H is totally on Fulham side and they have seven wins from ten mutual matches with Huddersfield.
Huddersfield also played 1:1 draw in last round against weak Derby side but they are going to have much harder time in this match.
My bet: Away win.

Hull vs QPR
It was amazing first match for Hull City and I am expecting they will perform good against QPR and score some goals.
I am not sure who will win this match but looking at stats and history my bet will be on goals and both teams to score.
My bet: Both teams to score; over 2.5 goals

West Brom - Luton
This looks like a no brainer home win for West Brom against weaker Luton team, they played 3 H2H matches in last few years and all of them are won by West Brom.
West Brom manager Valerien Ismael is clearly attack oriented and I am exoecting to see goals.
My bet: Home win.

Swansea - Sheffield Utd
Swansea really surprised me with easy 3:0 win against Reading and thing should be much easier against Sheffield right?
Wrong because Swansea is famous for making some weird results in last season so I don't full trust them, but I think that odds are wrong here and H2H is on Swansea side.
Draw is possible in this match and double chance on home team is paying good so I am taking it.
My bet: 1X double chance

Fulham won even easier than I expected with 1:5 final score and they now took over first place in Championship table with most goal scored in two rounds.
Hull didn't manaage to score this time and they got ref card, but my prediction for over 2.5 total goals was correct.
West Brom won against Luton and Swansea played 0:0 draw with Sheffield United, that means that most of my best for this round was good.

Next round for Championship is in midweek so expect new prediction in few days.

I see that many teams have started the season with similar results. But Fulham are the best one so far. Because they literally destroyed Huddersfield 5-1 in their second game. Mitrovic (1 goal, 1 assist), Cavaleiro (2 goals) and Reid (3 assists) were the stars of this match.

Round 3 of EFL Championship is scheduled to start tomorrow and I see few matches that are potentially good for betting.
Fulham is first on table after two rounds with 4 points, Preston and Nottingham are currently seating on the bottom with no points so far.
Sheffield Utd is the only team that didn't score a goal so far, and Birmingham still didn't conceded a goal after two rounds.

Millwall vs Fulham should be interesting match to watch and this will be my main pick for this round.
Recent history is showing that Millwall managed to win only one time from seven matches with Fulham, and they got two draws from first two rounds, something specific for them in last season.
Fulham is probably main contender for winning the title and going back to Premier league , they are better team and I believe they will not lose this match.
Both team are from London so this will be very short trip for Fulham players.
My Bet: Fulham Win; Draw-no-bet Fulham.

Reading vs Bristol City
Reading is better team on paper and I believe they can win at home ground like they did in last season.
I would back home team much easier if their important striker Lucas Joao was not doubtful for this match, but I still think Reading will not lose this match and I am going for safer bet option.
My bet: Home win draw-no-bet.
