Norwich haven't been winning for 3 matches. Stoke haven't been getting a win for 8 matches. I think Norwich will manage to win this and continue to chase Brentford for the championship.

Back on EFL Championship with update for two postponed matches because of weather conditions and frozen pitch.
Time for this teams to have mini break and prepare for their next matches:
Rotherham - QPR (postponed)
Sheffield Wed - Swansea (postponed)

Preston managed to win against Blackburn in first match of this round,  and this is second defeat in a row for Blackburn.

Norwich vs Stoke is important for both teams and maybe one of the last chances for Stoke to catch a train for play-offs.
Norwich is in a down trend and they are still missing some important players but Buendia is back, and Stoke is not easy to beat at especially with freezing weather it will be even harder.
I am not expecting many goals here and draw is very possible result or narrow Norwich win.
My bet: Both teams to score NO and Norwich win or draw; under 2.5 goals.

Brenford vs Barnsley should be easy home win for top team in the league at this moment with best goalscorer Toney.
They had one day more of rest as Barnsley played had match in FA cup with Chelsea and lost 0:1.
Brenford won last year against Barnsley and they will do it again to firm their first place on table, and if weather conditions would be better we could expect to see a lot of goals.

This was not a great weekend for my EFL Championship predictions as Norwich won easy with over 2.5 goals and they again took over the first place after Brentord lost 0:2 against Barnsley  in one of the worst performances so far.
Watford had amazing performance with six goals win against Bristol City and they are back in run for title and Premier League promotion with seven points behind Norwich.

Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose, but Championship is rolling with round 30 back tomorrow with this matches:

The Championship has always been competitive and I like it so much. They are playing more matches than the Premier League also and there is a tight schedule in this league because of that. It is a very long season that consists of 46 matches. There are still 17 weeks to go and it is still early to say who can win the championship. Especially Brentford and Norwich are in a very close competition.

That was one interesting round for Championship especially in top team matches, and Brentford managed to lose even after scoring first and I said many times they have some serious issues in defense and QPR is not bad at all, so best thing to play with Brentford is both teams to score and over on goals.

Swansea managed to get a narrow win against Nottingham in last few minutes and they are getting back on third place with two matched less than rest of the teams.
That was a nice odds and bets won on my pick for under 2.5 goals and home win, as well as Norwich win that was easier than I expected.

Overall this was a very good midweek for me in EFL and I am getting ready for weekend matches and Round 31 and on first look this could be one more easy match for Norwich:

Norwich got a nice advantage that they beat Coventry away 2-0 and Brentford got a shocking defeat against QPR away 2-1. The point difference has increased to 4 and this is the second time Brentford lost consecutively. Swansea won again this time against Nottingham 1-0 and have decreased the point difference between them and Brentford to 1. Swansea have 2 missing matches too and can displace Brentford.

Norwich is back on top again with seven points more than second team, but Swansea still have two matches less played.
I have no idea what is happening in heads of Brentford players but it looks like they got scared of potentially keeping the first place and they lost last 3 matches, Swansea got trashed hard few days ago, but Watford is back on track with 3 amazing wins.

After Brentford lost three matches in a row, Norwich benefited from this nicely and they have a 3-win streak which helped them to take the lead and have a 7-point difference between them. This is another comfortable match for Norwich on paper. Birmingham don't have any missing players. But it is not the same for Norwich. Marco Stiepermann, Michael McGovern and Jordan Hugill are injured. I will ponder on betting on Norwich but they seem like they can continue to win.

I don't know what happened to Brentford suddenly. They lost their last three games in the league. They are in the risk of going down from the top 2. They have the same points with Watford now. Of course it is football and everything can happen. But I think that Brentford will defeat Sheffield Wed in this easy match and gather strength again.

I think it's the almost there syndrome. They almost got up last season, tried so hard and then just the psychological stress finally takes the toll. It almost happened to Leeds too but they had covid happen and got their break and rest.

Just a rough patch I think their quality will show through later, but I guess Norwich and Watford want to remind everyone why they were up last season.

I agree with you. Brentford are not a credible team to bet on right now. They defeated Sheffield Wed but I'm thinking of avoiding them for some time. Watford are close to getting a win against Blackburn right now, 3-1. They continue to follow Brentford and waiting for them to make more mistakes. Brentford don't have the luxury to go on like this if they don't want Watford to get past them.

EFL Championship Round 33 is back again and fight for Premier League promotion is getting very interesting!
Watford is on amazing run with four wins against strong teams and Cardiff is even better with five straight wins that got them in play-offs zone.
Blacburn on the other hand have terrible score with five lost matches despite having one of the best league strikers Armstrong.

Last round was had some surprising results for me and I lost some bets, Norwich and Brentford both won and there is no time for crying because we have new Round 34 starting tomorrow.

Brentford had some difficulty in winning against Stoke. Stoke got ahead 1-0 first and Brentford barely managed to get the win. But it seems that Brentford have started gathering themselves up. They won their last 2 games after a losing streak. Norwich had a very easy game and didn't surprise me by defeating Wycombe easily.
