Can the first dose of vaccine make someone win against the covid virus?
in my country the government recommends all ages to receive the first and second doses of the vaccine. The administration of the first dose of vaccine and the second dose also takes a long time, maybe 1 - 2 months.

Well... for the original strain, even one dose of the vaccine could have given enough immunity to avoid hospitalization. But the emergence of the delta variant has changed the equations. Even two doses of the best vaccine (Moderna) is only 76% effective against this strain. For Pfizer, the efficacy drops to 42%. I would assume much lower efficacy for the other (i.e non mRNA) vaccines. That is the reason why many of the countries, which earlier used vaccines like Sinovac and AstraZeneca are going for the third (booster) shot.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

PS. I look at open sources, in India the indicator also leaves much to be desired (about 11% are fully vaccinated), although your scale is certainly incomparably larger ...

India is vaccinating close to 10 million people a day by now. 37.8% have received at least one dose, and 11.3% are fully vaccinated (here the priority was to administer at least one dose of the vaccine to those who are below 45 years, rather than fully vaccinating them). The government is trying really hard to vaccinate as many people as possible before the third wave. Considering the huge population, low education levels and lack of cooperation from the opposition ruled provinces, what has been achieved by the government so far is no less than monumental.

Now that the epidemic has lasted for two years, there is absolutely no way to completely eliminate the virus. The epidemic is still spreading in various countries. Now I have been vaccinated twice, but I think that even if I get vaccinated, I must pay attention to protection because the vaccine cannot completely resist it. To live with the intrusion of the virus, what we can do is to reduce the spread of the virus and cooperate with national arrangements.

What a year!!! I could reminisce the year going down very well, not until the pandemic which lead to lockdowns over the world.
A lot has died, lost their jobs, some still in the hospital, big thanks to the health workers, doing a whole lot to invent the vaccine.
I really can't tell how effective the vaccine has been helpful, but we'll sure get positive and negative feedbacks about stuff's like this.

I have also been vaccinated 2 times but must always comply with health protocols, this proves that the Covid virus is still terrible and must be watched out for, the best way to avoid Covid is to keep a distance because many people in my place don't care about health protocols and they don't even wear masks .

Perhaps everyone will soon receive their third dose (booster). Pfizer has announced that those who got fully vaccinated with their vaccine needs a booster shot every 5 to 8 months. Dr. Anthony Fauci recently stated at a White House press briefing that full protection needs at least three doses of the vaccine. In the US they are witnessing around 150,000-200,000 cases per day (with fully vaccinated individuals comprising a large fraction), and a daily death toll of around 1,500. Even in the UK (which has achieved >70% vaccination) around 200 deaths are being reported every day.

The covid-19 pandemic made seek for opportunities that was available online. It made me discover new carrier paths because manual jobs were all halted due to the pandemic those who still made money during that era were does into digital investments leaving the manual business operators behind and this made my quest for digital skill a reality. It was an eye opener for me

You need to make a choice. You can either opt for vaccination, which means that you will suffer from fever and body pain for 1-2 days. Or you can remain unvaccinated and risk dying from COVID 19. If you get infected with the delta strain, then the death rate is around 10% for unvaccinated people (for the original strain, it was below 1%). You need to maintain your health, irrespective of your vaccination status. But both these things can't substitute for each other. Maintaining good physical activity alone will not guard you from Coronavirus.

Do you get sick after the first dose of the vaccine Huh And what is the name of this "miracle vaccine"? In my family 6 people were vaccinated - my father (an elderly person, Koronovak), me and my wife (middle age group, Modern), two children - 20 +/- years (Modern). My father did not have any manifestations, we had minor side effects, as expected, but this all lasted no more than 12-24 hours. We all feel good! I will not hide - we still adhere to antiviral recommendations. I will also add that among the many friends of mine who were vaccinated by Modern and Pfizer, no one had a disease or any unnatural consequences!

Why you have such a strange reaction - it's hard for me to say, probably still the quality of the vaccine means a lot ...

maybe in your place the vaccine used is called astrazeneca. indeed as far as I know many people get sick after receiving this type of vaccine. if in your place using a vaccine called sinovac, the number of sick people may be much less. but you don't have to worry too much because the pain caused by the vaccine is a mild illness and you will recover quickly.

I don't think we need to worry about pain after receiving the vaccine.
it's just a temporary effect maybe 1 to 2 days the pain will disappear,
but it all depends on each person because not everyone feels pain when receiving the vaccine

LOL.. no one want to use Sinovac because it is completely useless. Here in India, I got vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine (Covishield). After the first dose, I suffered from light fever, but there were no side effects after the second dose. And the AstraZeneca vaccine is having good efficacy (60%-80% according to various studies). On the other hand, those nations which used Sinovac are opting for 3rd booster dose with other vaccines. Because a lot of people who received two doses of Sinovac have contracted COVID 19 and died.

The vaccine is not a panacea, it does not cure a disease! Its purpose:
- in the best case - "isolate" the spread of the virus by a strong immune response from the body, preventing the virus from infecting the body and making it a carrier
 - in the "worst" - significantly reduce the load on the body in case of illness. Reduce the risks of severe or fatal consequences.

So even basic vaccination, even in the presence of new strains, lowers the mortality curve compared to the unvaccinated community.

I am very glad that in Ukraine, at the moment, a total vaccination has been organized, with all vaccines certified by WHO (Koronovac, Modern, Pfizer, Astrazeneca). And now the figure has already been reached, of the total number of residents of the country, 8% and 12% fully vaccinated and with the first dose.

PS I received the second dose of Moderna the week before last Smiley

Agreed with the points, and I also believe that being fully vaccinated reduces your chance of dying from COVID by a factor of 100 times or more. But I am having doubts with every passing day. Countries that had achieved more than 50% vaccination coverage (such as the United States and the United Kingdom) are witnessing a huge spike in infections and new deaths. Also, a few of the studies now claim that the antibodies provided by the mRNA vaccines such as Moderna and Pfizer last only for 6 to 12 months.

The main problem now is that very little time has passed since the beginning of the pandemic. 2 years, in fact, is very little to get a real, comprehensive picture of the situation. The same statistics are kept differently in different countries. What can we say about the real effectiveness of vaccines that have been developed "on the knee", plus the appearance of mutations. Yes, there was not very positive news about the increase in the incidence, and this is attributed to new mutations. On the other hand, today medicine has already received a "feedback"; a stable section of the genetic code of the virus was also recently isolated, which will help to develop / modify vaccines and fight mutations much more efficiently ...
Now the situation reminds me a little of the situation with the outbreak of the influenza virus ("Spanish flu") at the beginning of the 20th century, at the beginning there was also the highest mortality rate, there were several global outbreaks, but now we treat the flu with essentially one pill, or preliminary vaccination

The flu, even today, is not treated so easily with vaccinations.  There are so many different strains of the flu, and scientists model which ones are spreading and how quickly in order to try and create the vaccine that will be most effective in combating the flu each particular year.  They take the genome of what they predict to be the 3 or so most prevalent strains and model the vaccine to after those.  But there are many other strains that you could be infected with instead, so it still all comes down to probability and luck.

I'm seeing terrifying things around me from the plague, where I live is facing delta variation and it's so strong a lot of people have died, and now the government is trying to limit all of them.  I am still waiting to be vaccinated, but the situation is not favorable because where I live the conditions are still limited, it really feels very bad, there are new cases and deaths every day.

sinovac is the first vaccine available in my country, even this type of vaccine is widely used by officials in my country. indeed the effectiveness of the Sinovac vaccine is below that of Arstrazeneca, but this effectiveness cannot be known if mass vaccination is not carried out.

Sinovac is my least preferred vaccine, because almost all the countries that have used this vaccine have witnessed spikes in the infection levels (Chile, Indonesia, Cambodia, Turkey, Morocco.etc). Even one Chinese scientist came out in the open and claimed that they need to increase the efficacy of the Sinovac vaccine. And then the price is also very unaffordable. One dose of Sinovac costs around $40, while Pfizer comes at almost half of that cost. AstraZeneca costs just $3 per dose and Sputnik V is priced at $10. Why someone should pay so much extra for a vaccine, when it's efficacy is very low?

Vaccination DOES NOT CURE, be it seasonal flu or covid19, vaccination "trains" the body as quickly as possible to detect the appearance of the virus in the body, and to block it as efficiently as possible, reducing the risk of developing a full-fledged disease. This is how all vaccines work. The virus "kills" - drugs of a different type, namely drugs for the treatment of the virus, they help the body to DESTROY the virus, for example, antibiotics are among them.

there is a bit of a problem for me here because there are still many who think vaccines are a cure for the flu, especially for the current pandemic.
This is very wrong, my friend, vaccination is not a drug but the vaccine that is currently being used is part of efforts to prevent covid infection, which to this day are still affected by this pandemic.
this is just a prevention effort, it doesn't mean it's a medicine and it doesn't mean people who have been vaccinated can survive and won't catch a pandemic, the concept is not like that.

Vaccines are only to strengthen the immunity in our bodies so that we become more resistant in transmitting the current virus and of course it must be accompanied by a healthy lifestyle and maintaining health protocols because even those who have been vaccinated the possibility of contracting it will still occur.
so don't think of vaccines as medicine and people who have been vaccinated can avoid this virus, that's not the concept.

Israel has become the first country to vaccinate a large section of the population with the third dose. Those who received the third booster dose has crossed 1 million mark there (more than 10% of the population). Data shows that those who have received the third dose have 2.5 times more protection when compared to those who received two. For now they are limiting the third dose to those who are above 50 years of age. I guess this will become normal now. We need to take booster shots every 6 months or so.

maybe in your place the vaccine used is called astrazeneca. indeed as far as I know many people get sick after receiving this type of vaccine. if in your place using a vaccine called sinovac, the number of sick people may be much less. but you don't have to worry too much because the pain caused by the vaccine is a mild illness and you will recover quickly.

LOL.. no one want to use Sinovac because it is completely useless. Because a lot of people who received two doses of Sinovac have contracted COVID 19 and died.
sinovac is the first vaccine available in my country, even this type of vaccine is widely used by officials in my country. indeed the effectiveness of the Sinovac vaccine is below that of Arstrazeneca, but this effectiveness cannot be known if mass vaccination is not carried out.
I think you are getting confused about the vaccine from different country .I think every vaccine is effective to grow your immunity system high .I don't actually know how the percentage of effectiveness of the vaccine comes from .All the vaccine which are recognized by the WHO are effective on the human body .If you got Sinovac your country just take it .It is impossible to give vaccine to the mass community in short time gradually it will cover .

Obviously getting vaccinated with whatever vaccine available is far better than remaining unvaccinated. But now the vaccine companies have scaled up their production (especially Pfizer and AstraZeneca) and unlike the situation a few months back (when Sinovac and Sinopharm were the only vaccines that were available in large quantities), now the users can make a choice. Sinovac/Sinopharm would be at the bottom of my preference, because different studies have shown that it's efficacy is very low. One example here:

A study of the Sinovac rollout by the University of Chile reported that the vaccine was 56.5% effective two weeks after second doses were administered in the country. However, they also reported that one dose was just 3% effective (rising to 27.7% within two weeks of the second dose, and 56.5% two weeks later).
