Looking in the news that are coming this year we should pay a close look at Cardano. It definitely has potential. Also one of co founders of ETH is founder of Cardano. I think they are launching mainnet in March so open eyes people.
It's not cardano but its Polkado is the only coin that can be very close to the ethereum. This time polkadot has been placed at the 4th place of CMC and that being said if DOT is the future. Ada does not become the main consideration as an alternative smartcontract platform for ethereum. You must see how polkadot was even better than ADA from the various aspects. |

I don't think any current coin can be the next Ethereum. There were so many things like that in the past. Couldn't compare anything to Ethereum, and failed.

for now it is still confusing for coins that will be accredited on the exchange but at this time I still often monitor BNB and CAKE coins because I often see many IFOs holding farming using these two tokens. maybe these tokens will be in the spotlight for investors in the future.

Yeah, there won't be something like the next Bitcoin or Ether. I understood this truth not a long time ago. Several moths ago I believed EOS would be ETH killer, so I bought it on Ownr, later, when Dan left the project, I realized I should have invested in ETH. |

I'm really bullish on Cardano. I think with everything it brings and with news that they have in plan for this year it has a possibility to come to 3rd place behind BTC and ETH. Surpassing not yet but we will see what future will bring.
i like your words about cardano and this is a reaslistic opinion, but, i think its hard to find the next ethereum now, because a lot of altcoins claimed as the next ethereum but the fact, there is no altcoins can be the next ethereum More realistic opinon is Polkadot, the development is going fast, so many people hype it up and the teams are so active. But, if you want a lot more realistic opinion then ETH will always stay as 2nd largest coin and largest altcoin and the 3rd place will be for competition. Speaking truthfully, ETH already far beyond other alts in term of userbase, it was used for various digital transactions. well, before the fee becomes disgusting and many people choose to move over another alt. |

For me in this matter everything is just a polcadot. I don't think this is a very good idea to compare other coins with ethereum. In the market there are lots of competitors of ethereum. But people like ethereum most. It has a huge marketcap and a huge follower base. Also the 3rd party dev base are also high. Ethereum gas fees are high but still people like to use it. I don't think at this momemt no other alt can reach or cross ethereum.

It's hard to predict that and what will happen. There are a few projects that in theory are better option that ETH but still they dont deliver. ETH will stay at top for long time but like I mentioned before there are some projects that have potential. |

I think the closest thing to Ethereum is Binance Coin (BNB), especially since the launch of the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), what is BSC? Binance Smart Chain is a smart contract blockchain parallel to the Binance Chain (BC). It is designed to provide a programmable extension for BC, as well as introduce smart contracts and virtual machine functionality to the Binance ecosystem. I consider Polkadot (DOT) is the next Ethereum. I am so much hopeful about this coin. Already price hit $19.32 which is the new ATH record. Whatever the price is, but its future potentiality is the most important to the investors. Already that proved to the crypto area and now DOT reached 4th rank in CMC. I hope very soon it will compete with Ethereum.

Is it really possible to guess? How can I guess who will be the next ETH when the new crypto market launches and moves to the top 10-20? In fact, it is never possible to predict. You might not like my answer but it's true, there is no altcoin that will ever be like Ethereum because Ethereum is priceless and strongest of all altcoins right now, few people keep taking about Polkadot as the better Ethereum but that's something we can't just judge right now because Polkadot is a brand new project that still have a long way to go

Ethereum is the king of altcoins and will remain so for a very long time to come, I'm still not confused that Polkadot is capable than Ethereum, I've seen few altcoins that entered top 10 in the past and later goes down under top 10 rank, it's too early to start praising Polkadot, I hope it lives up to people's expectations but don't dare dream of Polkadot beating Ethereum, it's not going to be easy for a new altcoin to achieve what Ethereum have achieved since years back
