The site asks if you want to enable 'trading', is it potentially another bitcoin exchange we would have a stake in? That is another option to get us the full redemption.

Hope he can clarify how much we may get and a timeline. I'm grateful he didn't run off like all the others.

He claims that is what he was doing. He wasn't selling the bitcoin invested in Cyprus, obviously, and it was not possible to just transfer cash in.

Registered an account on the redemption website with the same email as I used on havelock, but I'm seeing 0 tokens in my dashboard and a note "Havelock token holdings will be automatically imported to accounts upon havelock confirming final balances." So the waiting continues.

The limit on funds transfers shortly following the 2013 incident which saw the banks close for several days did not apply IN ANY WAY to incoming payments and, even in the case of outgoing transfers, if the money had originated from outside of Cyprus in the first place then the limits did not apply.

In any event, by the time he'd conducted his bitcoin IPO for Neo & Bee in September of 2013, six months after the banking crisis, the financial transaction system was largely back to normal.

Even his claims towards justifying purchasing these luxury cars as a supposed means for NEO & BEE to hold assets of value is bullshit, too, given how their sale proceeds weren't used to pay N&B's debts.

18th March: Brewster tells a member of the management team "we have 5,000 BTC left".

As from March 18th, Brewster, an active user of social media with daily presence for months, goes completely silent and absent from Reddit, Bitcointalk, Facebook and Twitter.

19th March: The next day Brewster shocks the management team by telling them that the 5,000 BTC have…..overnight become only 140! "Actually I thought we had 5,000, but I have checked the wallet and the coins are not there, I spent them somewhere but I don't remember on what.......we have only 140 coins left. I am going to the UK to find investors. I will send you the 140 coins left and also sell my Mercedes and Bentley and will send you the money to pay the March salaries and the creditors".

20th March: Brewster goes to N&B offices for 1 hour. Management team tells Brewster that they want him to step down from CEO. Brewster agrees to step down after transferring control of the company to “investors”, without these investors being identified.

21st March: Brewster goes to N&B offices for 1 hour and then disappears and remains out of contact with anybody from the management team.

21st - 27th March: The Mercedes is reported sold but the funds from the sale and the 140 N&B coins "travel" together with Brewster to the UK, instead of being sent to the management to cover salaries and creditors as promised. The Bentley is reported to be in a car dealership in Nicosia with changed plates, it is unknown whether it has been sold as well with proceeds being taken by Brewster, or whether it is up for sale.

Well that's horrible. Don't think we will ever learn what he did with the 5K BTC. Perhaps lost in MtGox, and that's the 'assets' we're waiting for right now.

seems to be, at least so far. as I was saying in another thread, he didnt really have an incentive to come back; everybody had pretty much written this off at this point. apparently they recovered some funds, or are able to liquidate some assets soon. he said, via reddit, that he would release more information in the upcoming weeks. i say, let the man cook. if we get anything at this point, it was more than anybody expected.

the havelock guys are fucked, I hear. i apparently sold all my neobee on havelock before the shit hit the fan; it was why i had shares on the lmb platform when it all shut down. but havelock wont confirm their share counts, so that number of shares wont be included in the calculations/cant be redeemed. i fortunately avoided holding neobeeq, the derivative asset.

but to answer your question, the redemption portal seems legit. we will see what happens

can you buy partial orders, or do you have to buy the entire order in one go? i actually would pick up a few more shares of this; its a long shot but  at those prices, i feel like its much better odds than a lottery ticket, with a much higher rate of return on a "win". im of the mind that this might take a while, but I dont really see a reason for him to return if he isnt serious about actually making good on this. hes opened himself up to additional liability but undertaking this next step. we will see, however.

In the NEOBEE portal is says that under the new terms and conditions "4.1 Redemption Limitations
The maximum redemption value will be limited to 0.0035 bitcoins per token."

it doesn't say when a final amount will be worked out or when you will be able to redeem for this. But I think i'll wait and see the offer from NEOBEE rather than the low ball trades.

Way back when I started the project, I made an agreement that I would share that amount with those that backed the project before taking anything myself so thought it to be an amount to set as the limit to get people back what they had already written off a long time ago. It is going to take time to build towards that figure, however as people exit their positions earlier as the redemption pool grows it will accelerate the whole process.

The simple answer is no, the site only acts as an escrow agent between two people that want to trade, the escrow completes and sends the coins to the selling party once confirmed on the Bitcoin network. I didn't want to take the time to start a stock exchange, it is a path I really don't want to tread tbh.

They didn't and it was something I wanted to avoid, Havelock totals are taken from the final balances when trading of the NEOBEE ticker was officially halted. The whole NEOBEEQ thing was Havelocks own doing, I have my own ideas as to why they will not provide the data, however I have first hand experience as to how speculation without any evidence can get out of hand online, so going to refrain.
