PSV will face FC Twente in the final match of the thirty-fourth round of this season. Perhaps PSV doesn’t need any more points in this upcoming match. And it seems many are predicting that PSV will be defeated by Twente. But I personally believe that PSV will continue their excellent run of form right through to this final match. PSV’s performance has been outstanding by dominating several recent matches despite having already secured the championship title. And PSV also consistently dominates every head-to-head encounter against FC Twente, where they have more often than not come out on top. So I personally predict that PSV will win. And they will continue their positive trend in their head-to-head record against Twente. I won’t hesitate to bet on a PSV victory this time. And I’m confident PSV won’t let their team lose at their own home stadium in Philips Stadion. This match is not to be missed because it will be very exciting to watch.

PSV doesn't compulsorily need to win this match, they're already champions and nothing can change that, a draw should be enough for them but if they lose, it still doesn't matter much, except they have a record to protect which I don't know if, and at such I think it's dangerous for any bettor to prioritise PSV in this particular fixture because they might end up disappointing like Barcelona and Porto in their previous matches after being confirmed champions.

I'm only just catching up with last weekend's Eredivisie results and I see there have been a few surprises.
Out of all the top 5 clubs, only PSV and Twente won their games, which allowed Twente to jump into the 3rd place with two points advantage over NEC Nijmengen.
Ajax lost to Utrecht at home. Feyenoord split points with AZ Alkmaar and NEC got beated by Groningen.

In the last round of the season this Sunday, Twente will travel to Eindhoven to play against PSV. If PSV take the game seriously, they are likely to stop Twente, meaning both NEC and Ajax will still have a chance to overtake them.

Ajax is playing away against Heerenveen and NEC will face Go Ahead Eagles at home.
My first thought was that betting on NEC to win could be a good idea, but they haven't won a game in the last 4 games, so I'm not very confident they will perform at expected level under a lot of pressure.

NAC Breda managed to secure a win at home against Heerenveen with a solid performance. However, as this victory won’t change anything for them, one could argue that the win itself doesn’t mean much. Boy Kemper scored both goals in the match, and I would have expected Heerenveen to at least pick up a point from this fixture. Strangely enough, they didn’t even manage to score a goal in the match. They failed to make the most of their chance to finish the league in at least 5th or 6th place.

Kemper was a top performer of the match because he did 2 goals in this match and he did first goal in the first half and we expected that opponent team will fight back but they didn't fight in this match And they lose their temperament when one player was in the form. He did second goal at 73 minutes of the match and he did this goal when it was need of the team because they want to be dominant in this match. The shots of NAC Breda are more as they are top quality team and players are playing for that team and overall performance of team is brilliant in this match. Possession percentage of any team matters a lot and Heerenveen possession was more by 1 percent which was not enough to win this match and at the end they lose this match.

I decided to give it a go and placed a parlay bet on Twente drawing or winning against PSV and on NEC winning against Go Ahead Eagles.

If my assessment is correct, it's in PSV's best interest not to win against Twente. By allowing Twente to earn at least 1 point, it would be guaranteed that Ajax will not get to the 3rd place and will not participate in the Champions League qualifiers in the next season. So it's a chance for PSV to cripple Ajax a little bit financially, as Ajax are their biggest league rivals. I'm not sure of that's the route PSV would take, or will they go for a fair-play approach and play for the win. But even if PSV don't go easy on Twente, Twente themselves are capable of earning points against PSV.

As for NEC, it's more of a risky one, as they are on 4 games without a win streak, but so are Go Ahea Eagles. NEC tends to perform well at home and were often dominant even in the games they couldn't win. NEC also have much more at stake, so I expect them to press hard in this last game if the season.

You're too bold to make such an assessment, I don't think they will do that because they will be playing at home. What I see in the bookies is that PSV is still the favorite, I believe the only reason the bookies make them the favorite even though they have already won the league is because of the home match. They don't want to & won't disappoint their fans & supporters with a bad result. But, good luck with your choice, mate.

Twente needs to win if they want to secure their spot for Champions League qualifications because Nijmegen has an easy game, and in case of a win, they can jump to the 3rd spot, but their current form is the worst due to no wins in the last 4 games.

Ajax is having a terrible season, but their game against Heerenveen can give them a big boost while they can also jump to 3rd as well, but it's looking not easy because Nijmegen and Twente both will try their best to have this 3rd spot, which is currently the best option for the three teams. At the bottom, Telstar has had good performance in the last three games. This is a big boost for them, but still, the last game against Volendam could push them down. They could be playing with home advantage.

PSV sent Twente packing from the Champions League with a goal-fest at home. Had Twente not lost this match, they might well have secured a place in the Champions League, but they failed to do so. Ajax failed to win again and it probably summarizes their season. They will have to play in Conference league playoffs and I would be surprised if they will end without European football next season. Twente were destroyed by Feyenoord, while Nijmegen won their game and secured 3rd place. It means that they return to UEFA competition for the first time since 2009/09 season and they have chance to debut in Champions league.

I didn't touch that Ajax fixture one bit because as the season near it's end, it became difficult to predict this matches. Sorry about missed bet on Ajax draw. Sometimes I wonder what hurts more — missed opportunities or losses.

Well, that aside, Ajax needs to rebuild if that's what it would take to bring some decent competition for PSV. Ngl, I'm disappointed that PSV got to win the eredivisie title with over 19 points. Goes to show there is no second best to compete with them right now.

It really does baffles me that the same Ten Hag that many are seeing as not been able  to deliver at several other jobs across Europe is the one Ajax seem to be missing, since he left it felt like the team has been unable to get back on their feets.  Maybe Eredivisie happens to be a better place for him, he has understood the league far better than he got a chance to understand the English games. Bit it will only take some time, Ajax will be back in form again hopefully.

From what I know, Ajax Amsterdam presence in UEFA Conference League is not yet confirmed because they have to go through play-offs between them and Groningen in the semifinal then once advanced to the Play-off Final, they will play against the winner whether it was Utrecht or Heerenveen.
So far only PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord confirmed to go to UEFA Champions League group stage while NEC will play the third qualifying round there. If NEC fails, they will join Twente in Europa League.
By the way, aside from the play-offs, there is also a game between Volendam and Willem II. Volendam will try to avoid relegation while Willem II will try to join Eredivisie.

A very very long time for me since i post for the last time in this thread, i dont know why i didnt come to post here but well right now the season ends, and im happy to see NEC reaching the qualification for Champions League , that was the major surprise of the season, and in the other hand we have another super shit season made by Ajax seems like they dont found the bottom and keeps falling deeper, what a disgrace for such a big team.

I don't know why the Ajax management doesn't bring Erik ten Hag back. Maybe I'm unaware of the behind-the-scenes issues involving Erik ten Hag and the management, something like some kind of resentment. But whatever disagreements they have, at this moment it would be better if the Ajax management stopped hiring coaches who aren't being useful and brought Erik ten Hag back for the long term. Erik ten Hag is a good coach, it's true he had bad luck at other clubs, but he's very competent and would be the best solution for Ajax.

Let's see if this recent development with motivate Ajax to do better next season, this season has been a very disappointing one for Ajax, I have never seen them decline this much in a long time and I hope they put their house together for next season. It's still very much possible that they could still play in the conference but it depends on who the opponent would be in the playoffs and even if they do qualify it's still going to be very difficult for them to cope in such a competition they are not used to, I think they are still going to have a very tedious campaign come next season.

Most probably they won't be able to qualify for the CL league phase. There would be tough opponents in playoffs stage if they reach there. But no matter what this is a success for NEC!

At least they didn't choke like Ajax... They aren't the same anymore. One season they are 5th finisher. In the other one they just hand over the title to their arch rival in an insane way. And now they are back to the 5th place again.
