Trading is more profitable then holding but has a way bigger risk in loosing your coins.

I did more profit in holding than trading. I've proven that to myself that I like holding more than trading. I do small trades but they're not as big as the profit that I get in holding.
It's just stressful but you have to overcome it and you need to be firm with your decisions if ever you want to start selling.

Right now I prefer investing, the main reason why people run away from investment is because they don't know and can't differentiate from which project is good and bad, now that we have some good IDO platforms and also polkastarter and few others I believe it has become very easy to invest in new projects

Ohh, good for you that you can easily differentiate a good project from a bad/scam one. I have been in crypto sphere for quite some time but still that is my weakness. TBH, i really want to invest a few hundred dollars but can't seem to find a good project on where to put my money.

I would rather but cryptos which are proven and have a good platform that investing in new and risky projects.

If people ask i think both can be good. Especially if can get profit from holding while trading with other percentage of assets. But if me personally i can't do trading because still panic if price change suddenly and keep cut loss my asset. Maybe holding is better for me now.

Understanding the type of attitude you have, it's best to keep it that way.

You'll avoid losing money if you can't control your emotions, whenever market moves and you see it's not favoring your investment
the action that surely to take is rushing out to avoid losing more but suddenly the market will bounce and eat portions of your investment.

Already tried so many times, if coins that i bought get dumped i always look at market every minute and can't be patient for it is to moving. Sometimes i sell when i get my capital back i mean no profit but mostly i cut loss my assets and then when it bounced again, i regret.

You just depict the exact situation of most of the people of this community; I mean people here are not developing their skill for finding good projects by filtering out the shit ones. When we start examining few of our interested projects by setting certain criteria of due diligence then we can simply develop such skill so that we can easily multiply our capital through good projects. Everything will be possible but everything needs our dedication.

You can't outsmart the market instead, you take your chances to take profit if you're into trading if you see some space. What's good is we have choice, to trade and to hold.

Either if you did invest or trade, your portfolio could be high 5 times if you are already invested. Now I'm giving advice on trade because the market doesn't move higher and higher. By trade, you could earn 100-150 USD in a week with a thousand dollars of money. The question of your time was different. That time was investment. Trade we couldn't learn in a few times, there could be the perfect investment.

i do agree, but i do both of them. trading for daily income and and investing maybe for long time return. so while my assets in investment have high volatile its not make me worry. thee are alot ways to invest , and as you said join launched pad will give us good result as long as its project was good.

If you trust your trading skills and you are certain that you can increase your portfolio, trading can work for you especially day trading. However if you do not trust your trading skills or someone is asking you to bring your capital for him or her to trade for you, it is best you just invest it rather than loose your capital in one trading session or to one wannabe.

Initially, it was a short-term investment. then if you begin to understand the character of the chart of an asset we can begin to choose long-term assets and start studying trading assets.

No you absolutely can't as the average individual doesn't have the trading technology and algorithms for intraday trading as those institutional investors have.
For the average person, believe it or not, a strategy that is mostly about mid to long term holding is the best one can do.

Yes, for the Launchpad thing, the results will always be good if the project is supported by large companies and popular exchanges, for example, as has happened to TKO tokens and also several other tokens on the Binance exchange, but things like that will not always be there in the crypto space thus allowing traders and investors to choose other, easier ways to profit.

Trading can be a good option for the people who are having required skills but investing will be suitable for anyone because it does not require any skill. So, like you have said, anyone can go for anything but purely depending on their skill level.

Right now, I am doing both trading and investing because I am just a learner in crypto trading so I am not fully depending on trading for my living at the same time I am ready to hold for long duration so I am going for investing as well.

I think you are confused because you are yet to learn about trading and what it's all about as well as how to trade carefully because I doubt if experienced traders will ever be confused in their trades, which of course they took time to analyse. Nevertheless, when an altcoin price is experiencing positive change, you can either enter the trade or wait for it to retrace or correct but most times, it doesn't work for all coins, that is, there are coins which you will be waiting for it to retrace only for it to keep going higher. Therefore my own opinion is, if you are considering long term, then you can enter such trade but if you are after short term investing then you can wait patiently for an entry when it retraces.
Lastly, trading and investing are quite different, for trading you need the right knowledge while for investing, you need to understand what the coin offers and if it will last long term or not. So if you don't have the right trading knowledge, then just invest and know when to exit.
