will Binance be the next Ethereum?

In my opinion, as long as Ethereum gas costs are as they are now even crazy Binance has the opportunity to replace Ethereum. With the advent of the Binance Smart Chain, many investors have switched from Ethereum to Binance as BSC provides its users with options at a lower cost.

The cost of GAS eth is indeed insane, if this continues then people will be lazy to transact using ETH, if there is something cheaper humanly they will flock to switch, with a note that they choose coins that have the potential, but if later it turns out innovation from ETH2 .0 has been proven to reduce the cost of GAS without lowering its efficiency, so it is certain that ETH will again be excellent

Binance and ethereum both of them are really good as an investment. Ethereum is the first ever contract based platfrom that's why the community behind it very strong. They also have a big 3rd party dev base. And the most beautiful part about ethereum is it's fully decentralized. In other hand bnb solve some of the problem like high fees transaction speed. But bnb is centralized. But they are doing really good. If you want to invest you can go with both.

as we can see if the price of Binance has risen very high for now and even all the coin that use Binance smart chain have also increased very high and of course gas fees from Binance are very low compared to Ethereum, so there is a possibility that in the future there will be many projects using blockchain from Binance and that is an opportunity for Binance to replace Ethereum (become the king of all altcoin).

There will always be a lot more users on Ethereum than on the Binance Smart Chain, and there are still such high commissions, but I don't think that people will run from Binance to Ethereum because of the commission alone

BSC was explicitly made to function exactly equivalently as ETH. the only difference is the trade-offs that are made in terms of decentralization. ETH wants to remain more distributed - Trade-off: more expensive, slower, worse user experience. BSC wants to have instant, free transactions with a great user experience - Trade-off: it's easier to regulate.

the BSC trade-off only matters if the regulators actually start trying to shut-down DeFi projects. until that happens, BSC has a major advantage over ETH

Binance smart chain could be the next ethereum if developers created their dapps there. But tokens are still being created in ethereum, we have yet to find out what the future of ethereum will be. If it solves the problems of transaction costs, scalability and other inconveniences.

As long as gas fees from Ethereum remain expensive and people are getting lazy to use Ethereum for transaction, so they prefer to make transaction using BSC, because BSC fees are cheaper than Ethereum and the transaction speed is also very fast, then I am sure that in the future BSC will be able to replace Ethereum and even though gas fees from Ethereum become cheap, but I believe BSC will still be the toughest competitor for Ethereum, because BSC has become very popular for now.

I fully agree with you that Binance will be the Ethereum of the future, but not entirely. The number of DApps on ETH is much higher than BNB, which is one of the key reasons why ETH is still the queen of the crypto market.

at least binance has shown that there is a chance that binance could become a giant that could actually compete with ethereum. in the future, I think this competition will make binance and ethereum equal. The majority of users are using Binance's smart chain because of the lower transaction costs, which is the most significant factor in a blockchain.

what makes you say `soon`? The earliest estimate I've seen for Phase 2 ETH2.0 is late 2022 (phase 2 is when you can actually do useful things on it). In ETH terms, this means earliest 2024

ETH is not solving this fee issue anytime soon

so far the only ETH2 phase they released is the one which involves locking your ETH so you can't sell it, which is dubious at best

To determine whether BSC gonna dominate ETH or not shouldn't only be based on the fee alone that's gonna be resolved in july anyway by the eth devs. The fact that BSC is centralized because the nodes are under control of binance should be concern aswell because after all centralized blockchain means less secure for dapps or tokens and I honestly think as long as BSC is still centralized ETH won't get dominated.

the exchange platform and the wallet contributes next to none in the case of dominating eth i think.

I think Binance will behave like Ethereum in the future.  Currently many projects are being launched on Binance platform.  As in the Ether plot form before.

This would only last for short term.  Once the ethereum tx fee issue is resolved, then we can see all projects going back on Ethereum blockchian. The level of decentralization which ethereum offers does not exists in binance smart chain.

Yea it can be. If it can make all of It's project much better. Many project are launching in bsc. More than it was before.
So i think its the best time for bsc to take the stairs and starts to rise like eth.
Its a good alternative of eth.
Most probably it will be the 3rd market leader in the market and will compete with the eth among 2nd and 3rd place

For now, I see that there is potential for BNB to be able to compete with Ethereum. The problem with ethereum users regarding transaction fees to date has been resolved with the Binance Smart Chain. and in my opinion this could be something that could have an impact on the ethereum ecosystem. some tokens have already migrated the blockchain and are on the Binance Smart Chain network. we may wait for the next 1 year how Cz can create trust in the community

Look close for Binance raise above $1,000 but how stronger BNB coin can weak up above $1,000. Keep stable on higher price or BNB will get correction price after today raise all time high again. Maybe when launchpad make BNB raise to higher price but what about without launchpad can BNB make more powerful their price close with ethereum?

Maybe Binance could be another Ethereum, seeing the price growing this fast makes me feel we might see it at $1000 before the bull run ends, although I don't think Binance can replace Ethereum the reason is because Binance is a CEX and centralized exchanges are prone to hacks, if Binance gets hacked again it will really affect the price of bnb.

Binance Coin has indeed performed very well this year, Therefore, not a few people finally thought that Binance Coin could be the next Ethereum.
I also admit that the popularity of Binance Coin has greatly increased this year, and has an excess of transaction costs which are much cheaper
than Ethereum which has very high gas fees. But that doesn't mean it can replace Ethereum, because we know that Ethereum has been the best
