This is an important change with anybody that is an F1 fan would agree this was needed with all the controversy Masi's calls caused in 2022.

Very timely and a much needed change IMO. Though we cannot discredit Max's grit during the the Abu Dhabi grand prix, but still the outcome would have been different if Max wasn't allowed to overtake Hamilton. Masi may not have favored anyone during the season, but his calls were rather questionable that a lot of F1 fans were displeased with the decision and even went so far that F1 with Masi is just going downhill from that incident.

While we waiting for F1 season to resume , yesterday we had first presentation of the new cars and Haas was the first team.



Now , car looks great in my opinion , a very-like copy style from Ferrari and the new livery looks way more better than last year , right ? All is left right now for Haas is to deliver more points in 2023 season.

I agree that after the whole russian flag thing, this one looks a lot better. I agree that having a good amount of sponsors from Russia caused the car to look like a russian flag, but it was just not looking good on a f1 car, this one is a bit better with how dark it is, sure there are whites too but that dark addition definitely made it look a lot better.

Plus if you do less paint, that means you could put it on something else, because less paint means less weight and less weight means a bit more on the engine or something else to secure it. It gives you reliability and that means you are going to be able to push the car further without breaking down, that's a good thing.

There was a lot of crypto related sponsors in F1 in recent years, but I think we didn't had any sportsbook there so far. So, it would be cool to see Sportsbet logo there one day.

It seems that RedBull will do a 3 races with 3 different liveries and the contest is up for free if anyone has special talents for this but what I really want to find out and maybe they will leak more information on the road , is that if that livery can be a buy out for a company that wants to apply their logo or anything else but RedBull didn't mention anything like this yet.

Also , the livery they just reveled 2 days ago is nothing but a copy-cat to their previous one so at least they will have 3 special liveries along the way but fans really wanted a change in colors or at least how they combine them in this livery ...

Mercedes will be unveiling theirs for the 2023 season on February 15th they announced a few days ago.
Wonder who they will be replacing the now defunct cryptocurrency exchange for the most prominent spots on the car.
This will be the most interesting one of them all to see and not just for the new concepts they will bring to the driving table.

They become name sponsors of team, deal worth $100 million in 3 years. Interesting part that they haven't even mentioned word crypto in whole their press release.

Good, but same as always . But in general, 2023 cars in launch looks almost same like last season. Teams don't want to show their real cars now.

Overally, I don't expect many changes. Last year, F1 ground effect cars have been introduced, which were quite different from previous year's cars to reduce dirty air. So, we won't have any of such changes now.
Maybe we will see some sidepod design changes but not much else.
For comparison: from 2021 to 2022 season, cars were changed a lot, including completely different front and back wings, bargeboards were removed and sidepod design was different. In addition to floor design changes of course, since 2022 season cars were changed to ground effect cars.

Wonder who they will be replacing the now defunct cryptocurrency exchange for the most prominent spots on the car.

Maybe steve will apply for the spot? Would be interesting, especially since a competitor is sponsoring Alfa Romeo now.

I see that two legends came together in one shot. There is a very little time left for the new F1 season to begin. I hope we witness a more competitive season this year. Guenther Steiner has gained the sympathy of all F1 fans thanks to the effect of the documentaries on Netflix. Let's see what Haas will be able to do this year. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to encounter any F1 legend so far. I hope some day I can encounter with Sebastian Vettel and take a selfie with him.

Yep, Stake did very good. Their name is in team name and it's also all over the car, one cannot miss it.
There was a news in December I think. A lot of crypto companies have left Formula 1, leaving money problems here and there too iirc. It was not only FTX, I think the list had 3 or 4 companies at least (3 were easy to remember: FTX/Merc, Velas/Ferrari, Tezos/RBR, but I think that there were more). I feared crypto.com would do the same. So saying "crypto" now in Formula 1 is a bit sensitive.

And about Sportsbet, I don't know, all eyes seem to be on Piastri, but it can be a risky bet. Still, did anybody check how it would Sportsbet.io logo look on papaya orange? (I've seen it on so many colors, so why not?)

Yeah, in 2022 it was new generation cars, so changes were huge. This season we can only expect to see some minor changes, like sidepods. But I think that none of teams haven't showed yet same design of cars how it will look on the track.

That's nice. Steiner looks like one of the most charismatic persononalities in F1, it would be very interestingto chat with him. I didn't had chance to meet F1 stars face to face, in past I saw David Coulthard in Red Bull Showrun event in Vilnius.

Previous season was terrible for crypto business and F1 partnership. I also remember that Mlcaren terminated their contract with Bitci.com exchange before start of 2022 season. So, yeah, crypto now is sensitive word there.
Now trying to imagine Sportsbet logo on orange Mlcaren car. I think it wouldn't look bad. But judging from post above, now we can expect to see their logo on Haas car .

Stake at Alfa Romeo? That should be something promoted all over, it's one of the biggest deals ever. I am sure there are some incentives like positions each race, positions by the end of the season and all of that, there must be bunch of things, so it can't be straight up 33 million a year, but there must be a very high guarantee.

I wouldn't be shocked to learn that this amount is the highest amount of sponsorship they have ever done, all those UFC and football aside, this looks like the biggest amount I have ever seen. They should start promoting that a lot, if I learned about this here, that means they are not doing it right and not promoting it enough.

Well maybe I am just a theory lover or something like that, but to be fair, we could see the situation they are in as if SB getting potentially a place in HAAS? Or maybe they already did, or maybe they just won't because if it was we would have seen it in the new car.

I do not know what sportsbet.io is waiting for, f1 is a big growing sports, it was super famous 20 or so years ago, a bit earlier I guess, then for about 10 years or so it had a declining interest, and then Liberty took over and it is gaining attention again. We all love sportsbet.io, they are an amazing place to gamble, and to see them in a team would definitely make me fan of that team and then some!
