I am now getting more cautious as btc has dropped below 30k. For me 30k was still the resistance and for long it was able to sustain above it but now breaking 30k and dropping does not show me a comfort sign now. So will pause for a while before the market returns above 30k and gets stabilizes for couple of days and then might buy again.

Investing in altcoin is like gambling, the bear market is persisting for now, I can wait for the price of coins to dump more before I will invest, this time is not the best time for me, I want to wait if the price of the coins will decrease more. There was no low risk coin and even the major coins have the same risk with the low cap coins. You must see that those who have invested in bitcoin already lost a lot from the peak price and the same thing was also happening with shitcoin but the percentage that happened on shitcoin is much more higher compared with the major coin dude. I think that it's better waiting for the dip rather than betting on the unstable market. Even when you are buying at the various price and it will not give you guarantee to get low risk. |

In the past after bearish trend finish and reverse into bullish , these coins have faster recovery if compared to another altcoin. investors now waiting best price to enter again to market to minimize their risk in this uncertain condition.
It is like you just speak my mind, I like to invest on ethereum and binance coin very well too, but some of my holdings are bitcoin, I like ethereum, binance coin because they are the two commonest among all, the price will increase before you will know. I still like some coins like bake but the market cap is not much but a good coin too. |

Hi everyone! I'm new in the Crypto World, but I am absolutely obsessed with it. I want to start investing in BTC/ETH, maybe also some others like THETA, Audius and more. I am following different youtubers, twitter accounts, discord channels, to learn as much I can about crypto as I can. BUT, is not the correct time to invest? As long as I understand, we are in a bull-run right now, and many do believe that BTC and also ETH will grow. Some belive BTC will hit 100K and some also think ETH will be up to 10% of BTC total value by end of the year. - And addition to this, we might see a drop and go in a bear-market, but this seems not to be the case. I'm also looking into start long trading on buybit, I want to start small and get the hang of it and learn the system and how it works. SO, back to the actual question: is NOW a good or bad time to begin investing? Or should I wait for a heavy drop in the market, which might not come? - I am looking for a LONG term investment. THX - I hope some clever crypto minds in here can share their thoughts about my questions above  //Crypt.N00b Once you gather funds to invest , Do it right away and never stand long asking people here because every minute is very important. It is the best time to short right now. You can make great profits buy quick buy and dumps in very short term (generally 3-4 days). So I don't think it is good time to invest right now. Investment should be done at lowest price possible. We are not there yet in my personal opinion.

It depends on what coins you gonna invest to. If you wanna invest to bitcoin I think right now is still a pretty good shot to invest because the price is still half its ATH and you can get profit in the future. Also some of alts can be a good investment such as ethereum or binance.

Indeed but, it also depend on the coins your going to invest. Investing might be done at anytime but if you will invest in the wrong coins then you might lose everything. But, if you will invest in Bitcoin, I'll tell you it is now the right time because the price is still half ATH and you can get profit in the future. all potential coins right now it's true that you said, half the price of their last ATH, so it's really worth buying it, but it's clear that bitcoin and ethereum are the main priority, but if you don't have big funds you can go to altcoins that also had time to enjoy ATH before being corrected, because it has the potential to increase again.
