Efforts of holding wasted

I personally do not like to hold coins or tokens long term. I don't think it's right to hold tokens for more than 3-6 months. Because if you hold a token long term, most tokens no longer have value. None of the tokens I've held so far have gone up, but gone down.

It also depends on the coins or tokens you hold, try if you hold tokens like ETH, BNB and LTC, surely the average of them all rose this year, and also coins like Bitcoin which have twice reached new ATH this year, so not all coins or tokens are bad to hold for 3-6 months, except for shitcoin whose value will never exist.

We need to research the best coin that we can hold so we do not waste our time and money. I am following your step to hold ETH, BNB, LTC, but do not forget to hold bitcoin because bitcoin will give you the biggest profit in the future. Holding can be additional income for you if you hold the right coin, but there will be something that you need to think which is the price volatility because while you hold the coin, the price will always move up and down.

Well the big problem is that you need to hold the right coin and tokens so they can raise in the future. You are saying you should only hold very popular coins for the future but you just can't be sure which coins will still be popular in 2 or 3 years. Except maybe for Bitcoin and Ethereum those 2 projects will stay as the leading ventures in the cryptospace in the next 10 years in my opinion.
I guess many people would have thought that Dash and Neo would also remain popular in the future back during their ATH-times in the 2018 altcoin bullrun, but if you look at those 2 coins now, than you will see that there are nowhere near their ATH from that time, even though the total cryptomarket cap is way higher than back then.

it depend on the coin if you hodl coin such as BNB, DOGE etc. you would have said otherwise. Alot of people hold for a long time and make huge profit on many top rated coin. You may not see their testimony here because it was not a bad news. In few years to come, there are still some coin that will be profitable to long term holder so it is now left for individual to do their probability well and look out for some of this coin with great prospect

In 2018 many altcoins are dirty cheap, you have a good chance to buy every available altcoins for few dollars but it seems many still buy coins for nothing sake, probably because people tell them to, there are many garbage coins in crypto space and only research is the answer to avoid such useless coins

Yeah, if this is what I did before, I'm jumping with joy right now but that time has already passed and have to learn the lesson that it has before. It's really better if you have a long term game plan or if you see that your portfolio isn't doing any good, leave it and don't look at it again until the market goes back on high because the crypto market will never go to zero. Because a few years ago, many of the FUD that has been circulating around says that.

Dont be sad. You must have learned a lot and from these experience, I believe you will become a successful investor. Right now, a bunch of coin is waiting for you to be collected so you have to wipe out your tears and think perspicaciously which projects should be your next investment.

I was also a noob in the cryptocurrency world and because of that reason, I kept investing my money in shitty coin which only brought bad results to me. But I have overcome it so as I can become strong enough to start investing in crypto again. Recently, I spend most of my time to read newspaper and projects' information because it will help me to minimize the risk

Lucky if you do able to hold that long in something which is really worth or been pumped out for this year or a in a bull run.I cant really blame off those someone who do sell off their coins
while it does still have some value for them to benefit on in shorter time frame and that would neither be a good call or a bad one because nothing knows on what future comes its neither
those coins are valuable or not because if we do consider on how many shitty projects that had died on this market then you can really have these kind of impressions
and thoughts.

Just hold into something which you do sees to be worth or really have the potential or simply a good project but if not then you can always opt to sell out when its early.

The truth is that not all coins can give profit if you hold them for long term, hodling is one thing, hodling a coin that has more potentials is another, you can hold a coin that doesn't have much potential then you expect them to rise, if you buy and hold the right coins you would get the right result, if you took that money and bought bitcoin back in 2018 and held it for these same three years, I'm sure you wouldn't be saying this right now, you would probably be at the beach living your best life, lol.

First of all, you have to know your ability. If you more interested to trade then you can trade but if you interested to invest then you can invest. Actually the profit that you get when you choose one of them is really same. You will get a lot of profit when you choose trading as long as you made a good prediction an advantage you choose trading is you can get money in the short term time.

Also, investing in crypto currency is really promissing. As you mentioned you will be rich if you hold some altcoins like ETH in a few years ago. As an example you bought ETH two years ago at least at that time the price of ETH was still below $100 if I'm not mistaken its price just $35 and you can imagine the profit that you get if you bought 100 ETH and until now you still holding it. The point is you are allowed to choosw between trading and investing as long as you have overcomed them.

Not always wins because not all coins that you do tend to hold will really be rise up in the future.It is a bit needing some luck when choosing on those projects because it will be
randomly risen up even those shitty projects could potentially rise up.

Hold into something like Bitcoin or ETH or other top altcoins in the market but there are people who could risk out on buying those low cap coins.

Not all altcoins are eligible for HODL, because don't waste our time with holding coins that do have low volume. Because most coins with low volume
will become dead coins, let alone get a profit, we can't even sell them. So always do research and analysis properly to get coins that are worthy of

Just like many of us here, those times I patiently waited until holding such promising tokens failed so bad due to emotions. Then suddenly all token values rapidly increased, and all of a sudden regrets is really happening to me lately. All gains happening is a loss of opportunity for me, I just wished it would go down for a time to buy back.

I think you don't have much patience or you feel panic when you see the price is higher and you think the price will fall even lower than before. I have seen and felt myself that the Altcoins I held from the previous year today gave a big profit in my assets, for example I held several altcoins such as BTT, Aurora, Ignis and Vidy. I got a lot of advantages after holding onto the altcoin for a long time. there is nothing in vain in holding virtual currency

Isn't this obvious? Those who hold those random altcoins (scam coins and shit coins) have no clue what they are doing. They probably saw the price getting pumped and kept on holding thinking that the coins will go higher in price. When they keep on holding, they all of sudden realize what they got into, but by then, it is too late for them. If they sell, they will make massive loss, if they don't sell, they will make even more loss.
It is better to hold coins that has an active community and are constantly being developed. Those are the coins that will give you long term profit.

Lol, sometimes you will have a hard time deciding on your choice and accepting a coin you are cherishing, hoping to get it out of the way in the midst of the general trend in the market by extreme growth.  modest period of two to three years.  That is extremely ironic, because of the expectations you have for it.  Sometimes, it is invisible in general, causing us to lose our optimism, belief in this space and see Hold as a child.  Hold is not always successful.  Keeping the garbage right is the worst!

Satisfying to hold the right potential coins than the fake potential. Be careful to hold looks like potential coins because at the end it might send you into bankruptcy. Yes, potential coin is good to hold especially the top coins in the market. Popularity of the coin is also another factor to consider the liability of the coins possible bright future. If you hold shit coins and dead coins, no more chance to pump even upto 50 cents, although it depends to the market value. But mostly of the shit coins will be dead in the future.
