Luckily the bet I had placed on the under 4.5 rounds did win as well, to my surprised because they were into the 5th. Don't ask me how but the bookies graded it as a win and obviously fight going the distance was graded as a no.
Should be a error somewhere so wouldn't be surprised if they resettle the bet later as a Loss or maybe a Void . Anyways congrats on two solid wins, Pereira was a nice hit @2.7. Going to sit down soon and have a look at the lines for the weekend, and solid tips? Also a free chance for some freebets at the Weekly Multi Master: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5420994.0

If it went past 2:50 minute mark of the 5th round, it would of been over 4.5 rounds. It was called 2:59 by the referee as a technical knockout. So 9 seconds saved the bet. That was close but it did infact win by the bookmarkers own rules to bettors of the UFC. Derrick Lewis main event was cancelled for this bout due to illness. There wasn't much news about it yet but it was said he tried to return from the first attempt to leave the hospital to fight but couldn't. https://www.mmamania.com/2022/11/19/23467938/breaking-derrick-lewis-sent-hospital-ufc-vegas-65-main-event-removed-spivak-mma-las-vegas-espnThe announcers explained that the main event had been replaced by the co-main event during the end of the prelims: https://twitter.com/btsportufc/status/1594066975902138368

sure did ruined the mood of the crowd. seem very shady that they waited for the last minute before announcing. they crowd would have been walking out if they just knew the main event is Cutelaba.
but i guess they already know the result even if derrick and spivak will not fight. they know derrick will be beaten terribly.

A fighter pulling out of a fight especially a main event card bout is quite disappointing. But details have come to light that when he arrived to the hospital he tried to return for the fight but wasn't able to. So his issue wasn't completely cured. Whatever this was that made him not able to contend in the octagon. Derrick Lewis has been on a losing streak this year but him pulling out so late in a card will probably be hitting him with a fine. No UFC this weekend due to holidays in the US but will be returning in the month of December.

A huge fight card coming up for UFC 282 this weekend with Jan Błachowicz going up against Magomed Ankalaev for his first title defense since winning the title a couple of months ago. Another fight i can see alot of people wagering on is Paddy Pimblett vs Jared Gordon. A few fights were cancelled including Jiri as I mentioned above and the Robbie Lawler bout. The multi master challenge for UFC 282 is up for you to select the winners of each bout and be able to win some prizes: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5426112

Been a while since I put down on UFC but I'm thinking Błachowicz has really good odds (3.36 with a boost at Sportsbet) so I put a few satoshis down on him. Almost acca'd that with Paddy for over 45/10 but I thought better not chase too much.
For the MM picks, I went for most of the heavy favourites (anything less than 14/10) except Blachowicz, and then randomly picking the guys whose names sound more aggressive (yes, purely arbitrary in other words).

Nice picks @buwaytress This Paddy Pimblett thing has spilled over onto other media with him going after a well known sportscaster who has interviewed a ton of UFC fighters in the past on his show. I can see this affecting the outcome of his fight same as Adesanya, picking fights and not concentrating on his own. You can view what him and UFC president Dana White has had to say about the excerpts from his own podcast show below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWSPKnMwW9M

Damn, just saw my betslip was voided, thought the match got cancelled but turns out the match just ended as a draw -- apparently, Ankalaev wasn't really cool, saying he wasn't sure he'd want to fight again, while Blachowitz himself actually thought his opponent deserved the win.
So I should have lost my bet, but judges made sure I got a refund instead.

Very rear thing to happen in UFC to see a draw in main event, but it happened and Dana White was not happy. He is already planning to make new fight in lightheavyweight division after this terrible main event, and this was his own words. Dana plan now is to make Glover Teixeira vs Jamahal Hill in Brazil for vacant title in this division. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvF3H90HT3M

Main event was decided by the judges and they ended it with a split decision draw which is very rare in all UFC fights done in it's history only five were decided in a draw for a main event/title bout. Here are the scorecards which were available right after the fight and shown on the post show: Very rear thing to happen in UFC to see a draw in main event, but it happened and Dana White was not happy. He was expecting to be given the belt and even Dana was in the octagon holding it ready to hand it over to him but then heard the judges scores. It was all a bit weird and everybody even the announcers during the post show were stunned by this outcome.

Both of this guys will not get title shot for some time, and this division is in real problem with this and injuries of Prochazka and Rakic. There was a lot of complains from people about co main event Paddy Pimblett vs Jared Gordon and judges decision. Jared Gordon had better percentage of significant strikes and he had three takedowns in that fight, so I don't know how this could be unanimous decision win for Pimblett. http://ufcstats.com/fight-details/144cd3f62591a5fb

Having a vacant title for very long is not something which looks too good for that weight class. He does want Teixeira to fight in the upcoming UFC in Brazil for the championship which I found strange but it is what it is. About Paddy, I agree with you on this as well. Jared clearly won two out of the three rounds and thus should of won the fight. But it doesn't look like the UFC could allow Paddy to lose because he does look like their cash cow as Conor was many moons ago. He draws them into the seats as Dana had alluded to in the conference, this was the 29 straight sellout of a UFC main event in a row. There is the UFC multi master challenge available for the final fight night of the year here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5428097

Again, the rules "dont let judges decide your faith" worked. I also believe that Gordon won that fight, but he should have done more against UFC future cash cow. Judges that evening made a decision of not who won that fight, but who will sell more PPV in future. And Pimblett with growing popularity and 3-0 in UFC looked much better than Gordon with 7-4. With all that in-fight taunts Pimblett made a overall good impression on judges, and the scales dropped lowered to his side.

Yeah, don't know what to make of the drama, never really felt worked up about it, and even feel slightly put off the more I listen. Just give me those 3/1 odds and victory, really can do without the noise. Still, I know it's all part of the build up (and build down). Put in my picks already, see a few familiar names, Strickland first pick, and then wondering if Brundage, Samelsberger or Dvorak require my money

I can hear your criticism from that 7-4 score that must of been from that one judge(Crosby) Ariel has been talking about from a clip here: BREAKING! UFC Judge EXPOSED, Accused of Fixing Fights ! It is solely for hyped up attention to the sport. Dana White can not keep attending each and every event in making sure to carry it's success and has found out early on he needs a shining star to do that for him. Before it was McGregor and Khabib but now those two are gone out of his operation so he need a Paddy the Baddy to do that for him. He knows he needs a star fighter every couple of years that can carry it's success over to the next year until they are too old to fight in the octagon. Paddy is 27 so he can get another decade out of him before his legs give out. He was limping off after the fight as he injured his foot in the second round from the interviews I had viewed from other channels on the event.

The link that you have posted does not fully prove that there are fixed fights in UFC, but it proves that UFC is more oriented in money than in fair competition. Btw, you can search google for Seth Petruzelli interview. He says that UFC offered him money and asked no to use takedown or wrestling skills against Kimbo Slice, because Slice was a newbie in wrestling and a boxer (street boxer) primary. UFC did not want Slice to lose, wanted to make him a series of wins, to face heavyweight champ and make huge PPV sales. To bad Seth was able to TKO Slice instead of submitting him:D

Yeah, and the amount of noise surrounding it too, seems disproportionately high. I mean, nothing compared to football I guess, but just that it seems there's so much streaming and streamers and the fighters themselves seem heavily involved too, it's like a lot of them also seem to live on media a lot. Definitely seems to suggest there's a lot more money involved and more money-oriented moves than competition (to the amateur observer eye like mine anyway).

The video about how all this all transpired a few months ago: The UFC has a MAJOR Gambling Problem | James Krause is only the beginning,,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltYTPauj_k4&list=WL&index=3This was all because of a coach of a fighter in the UFC who blatantly confessed to betting on fights and even on the ones of his own fighter. He had a discord server which gave out predictions on fights in the UFC for a subscription fee. Very bad stuff to be involved with.
