For me, I am just getting these 3 picks that I am going to make a prediction about later, for now, I think the Main Event is an unpredictable one, you can see the power of Gilbert Burns with his Physique, and can close the match early with his heavy punches because he is a heavy hitter, but you can not ignore the Finesse of Belal Muhammad with his intricate technical striking that could be the key to out strike Burns, but when it comes to power Burns surely has more power than Belal, but I really see potential for Belal to win aswell,

During the Pre-Fight Press conference yesterday Dana White did state that whoever wins this bout between the two will face the winner of Colby Covington vs Leon Edwards for the title.

An update from a video I was watching as well for this UFC event. Movsar Evloev who was going to face off against Bryce Mitchell instead will be fighting a new comer Diego Lopes due to injury during training.
Also Julianna Pena is out of the UFC 289 event according to an update from Dana White on the UFC youtube channel yesterday.
Instead Amanda Nunes will be facing Irene Aldana.

UFC 288 weigh-ins begin in about 10 minutes.

This is one crazy fight for sure a lot are talking about Belal Muhammad VS Gilbert Burns more than Aljamain Sterling VS Henry Cejudo I really don't know why is that but maybe they are much more curious about the Belal Muhammad fight than the Sterling fight, it looks like to me that the Muhammad VS Burns fight is looking more as the main event than the main event, for sure this is one great fight to watch,

For sure Gilbert Burns is pretty much well known for his massive physique and for Belal Muhammad it is really insane to win this fight I am fully aware of that but he can not ignore the need weight of Burns for this fight but for sure on paper Gilbert Burns has a lot of skills to win this fight but because Balal Muhammad got training with Khabib Nurmagomedov, there is a chance that Muhammad is a different person going inside that ring, fight with Burns, I want to bet on the underdog Belal Muhammad,

@YuginKadoya Charles Oliveira vs Beneil Dariush was cancelled suddenly as they were toting this venue around them but now Burns vs Belal seem to be getting the attention ahead for the Main Card and getting more hype than the AlJo vs Cejudo one since they have been just jawing each other and it is getting to feel too much like WWE banter back and forth by now.
Also Joseph Holmes missed weight so I think he just might lose this fight as he didn't look to good in his last fight which I had him to win.

I lost my bet here as I was all for Gilbert Burns parlayed with Aljamain Sterling to win his fight against Cejudo. I should've gone for singles instead. But that was an enjoyable fight.
When I saw Burns hurt himself, I said there's no way I could win my bet anymore. Belal pounded him with lots of body kicks when he saw that Burns lost one of his weapons, attacked him mostly in the right and that's just it. He kept on pressing him and the judges' scores are all fair in my opinion.
This should be a lesson for Burns, take that rest, no need to rush things after one fight. He must be very devastated about what happened today and he now lost the chance for a title match.

Most of the time I go for the favorites at the main card and sub cards. But at main events and co-main events, this is where I want to put all the analysis I could get from everywhere to enhance the chance to win both parlay and singles.
Like on this upcoming Fight Night that you shared. Jailton Almeida is good at both striking, grappling, and submission while Jairzinho Rozenstruik loves the stand-up striking fight using both his high-caliber takedown and stand-up defense. I like the chances of Almeida winning this more as he has so many weapons that could turn the table.

The co-main event is hard to predict as both fighters are almost equal in their skills. Might as well just take a pass on that one if you ain't sure who to pick.

I had only heard of Jailton Almeida through a sponsorship on a site that I frequent on and through some articles on MMA from websites specializing on the sport.
Will need to watch those free fights offered from the official UFC youtube channel they usually show the week of the main card bouts so to keep up with this fighter's skill set.
ABC instead of ESPN kind of through me off at first with so many media outlets signing broadcasting contracts with the UFC.

Well at 1st because this is my 1st UFC post I really thought the title was just normal but looking at the past fight in the UFC, and comparing this ABC 4 event I ask myself if I got the correct ones, but yeah ABC 4 is the name of the new media outlet partner for the UFC, and right now it seems you are still undecided about the fight,

Where he lunges whenever he throws a forward punch.
This is a dangerous way to fight with a wrestler like Almeida is where he can look for the tell tale signs of when he is about to shoot that forward motion and quickly counter it with a takedown, then it is all over.

After seeing the videos and some fights for Rozenstruik and Almeida I now have an insight into what may happen in the fight but surely this is my 1st time in the UFC, so I really need to think twice before getting into something, thanks to you guys for the explanation and video's you all provide it simply help and I have seen that in heavyweight most of the fights ends up so fast because of those heavy blows that ended up the fight quickly, and Jairzinho Rozenstruik is a good example for that Jairzinho Rozenstruik most of his fights end up 2 to 1 round only if he catches his opponents with his punch it is all over while Jailton Almeida is the same the fight will end on 1 to 2 rounds aswell, but the different thing here is mostly his fight ends up in the ground Jailton Almeida is a different fighter than Rozenstruik, and after thinking about it Jailton Almeida can surely control Rozenstruik on the ground and those takedowns will surely destroy the Rhythm of Jairzinho Rozenstruik it will be a good fight for sure and just like you I now got high admiration for Almeida aswell,

At 1st I thought it was the black beast that was fighting but after looking closely and have seen his name I said wait it is not Derrick Lewis, so I was surely wrong they look the same, but both Rozenstruik and Lewis have the same style so it is alright but the uniqueness of Almeida in this fight is the pure takedowns he has in the Heavy Division, and this could make this division for a new heights,

That was insane 34 pounds heavier than Jailton Almeida is really insane now I don't know if Jailton Almeida can takedown Jairzinho Rozenstruik without hurting himself, for this fight I really don't know if Almeida can take Jairzinho Rozenstruik to the ground but maybe there are still a chance and way Almeida know Brazilian Jui-Jitsu so he got way in taking down Jairzinho Rozenstruik, for sure, he just needs to find that opening, if the double-leg takedown is proven not effective for Rozenstruik, I think Almeida will need to resort in different techniques for his takedowns,
