Actually, it was really so early that just like you I totally missed it aswell, didn't realize that the fight was already starting, and since I was busy with the wedding my brother the time just passed that I didn't notice I fell asleep because I got home so very tired already,

I also missed the event because I was busy with something and thought that I was too early to put my predictions I totally missed it, but you got a nice pick there even though the early fights were all losses going up the card most of them won their fight and the Main Event was a total Banger, Jailton Almeida was fully in control of Jairzinho Rozenstruik definitely a weakness to the strikers Jairzinho Rozenstruik panicked while he was on the ground and Almeida was on top, but if I have put my bet I will also go with Jailton Almeida for a submission win bet, but I missed the opportunity,

But I think this wraps it all up and I think we are ready for the next event for the UFC, a women's Main Event

The very first fight which was very early in the day started with referee taking points away from the fighters.
The next one which was drowned in controversy was the Ji Yeon Kim fight. Where she kicked off her opponent who didn't want to let her get up so she could go to her corner to sit on the stool. The referee delayed until the beginning of the next round in deciding to deduct a point. This made her corner go mad. Then while the next round was in progress Kim threw a knee to the head of Bohm's temple while see was down. Which is illegal. So that was another point deduction.
I missed some of the other bouts in the prelims but that is how it began, with illegal moves.

Jailton Almeida's win was a nice submission move after Jairzinho Rozenstruik tried to get out of the mounted position but exposed his back. This is where Almeida finished him in the rear choke hold.
Done in the first round and a clean fight, which was different from the start of this event.

I was just lucky, last time that was mostly red, I just very much know mostly on the Main Card I never expected Tainara Lisboa to submit Jessica-Rose Clark because she surely not really doing that much and Jessica-Rose Clark pretty much how to defend that, but it was a close match Jessica-Rose Clark got into a mount and got Lisboa a cut I really though it will be a doctor stoppage but sure enough both girl struggle and Tainara Lisboa just got a good opportunity in getting that submission,

Jairzinho Rozenstruik panicked and didn't really know what he would do it was a nasty loss for Jairzinho Rozenstruik Jailton Almeida really is a submission artist, those faint left punch was just a decoy for Almeida to shoot the takedowns, and because Rozenstruik was pretty much distracted when Almeida move his body to the right it was a takedown pretty much Jairzinho Rozenstruik don't have many answers to the wrestling,

That was insane 34 pounds heavier than Jailton Almeida is really insane now I don't know if Jailton Almeida can takedown Jairzinho Rozenstruik without hurting himself, for this fight I really don't know if Almeida can take Jairzinho Rozenstruik to the ground but maybe there are still a chance and way Almeida know Brazilian Jui-Jitsu so he got way in taking down Jairzinho Rozenstruik, for sure, he just needs to find that opening, if the double-leg takedown is proven not effective for Rozenstruik, I think Almeida will need to resort in different techniques for his takedowns,

I only bet on the Main-Event the Jairzinho Rozenstruik VS Jailton Almeida and it was a crushing defeat I think I will call it a day 1st in the UFC, and focus on betting for other sports event, but I will surely check out this thread for some of your posted predictions but yeah it was a mistake in taking the striker side than a wrestler side but pretty much there are other opportunities and surely waiting for UFC 289 | Nunes vs. Aldana event,

Well, Striker's weakness is most likely Wrestlers, but strikers can depend on those takedowns with their takedown defense, but surely to defend they need to learn the basic of takedowns so likely they will also learn some basics of wrestling, whether it is Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, Combat Sambo, or American wrestling, but most of the time Strikers will never resort to wrestling unless gets triggered in doing so but in Jairzinho Rozenstruik case, he might have the takedown defense but Almeida Still scrumble with him by moving sideways and tripping Jairzinho Rozenstruik to his side to take him down, likely Jairzinho Rozenstruik doesn't have an answer to Jailton Almeida's Wrestling, that is why he was very vulnerable to wrestling this is what was pretty common to heavyweights like Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Derrick Lewis they are one dimensional and technical fighters are reading their movement like a book,

The Sportsbet odds for this fight are 1.57 for Derns and 2.41 for Hill Well, I can not say if Angela Hill improve his takedown defense but she always says in her interview that her takedown defense was improved, even so, Hill can not underestimate Mackenzie Dern in the stand-up even though all of her wins were on the ground her striking can surely cause her opponent to underestimate her on that field but when it comes to the ground she is superb, for me I think they will surely exchange blows on the stand-up and when Dern has softened Hill she can surely go with that submission from there, or if Hill is dominating the stand-up she will surely capitalize with the takedown, there are a lot of option for Dern for an attack so my pick is Mackenzie Dern,

Edmen Shahbazyan VS Anthony Hernandez

I think you got a tremendous pick actually all that is my pick aswell if I would manage to give it a try in the Multi-master challenge but yeah I was really not the type to try and make a huge risk like that but I may try someday, well the event is now starting it is nearing Andre Fialho VS Joaquin Buckley so I am going to drop this prediction of mine here aswell,

Angela Hill surely got some nasty combination with her striking and it is imminent in her latest fight against Emily Ducote but surely she doesn't have that power punch that could knock out her opponent because if the fight against Mackenzie Dern goes the distance the favor will then went to Dern this could surely end up in the ground and even with great takedown defense Mackenzie Dern is surely persistent with his ground game and might submit Angela Hill in the end so my pick is Mackenzie Dern,

Andre Fialho (+185)  VS Joaquin Buckley (-215)

Fialho is a brawler and his fight with Jake Matthews has proven that he isn't a technical fighter at all, while Joaquin Buckley got a combination of Kicks and punches for a good combination, and for this Joaquin Buckley has the advantage with the reach even though Fialho is much taller than him, I think Buckley will surely use his advantage with the kicks and surely those leg kick will surely be effective against Fialho so my pick is Joaquin Buckley,

Congratulations to you for these two fights were good selections to make on the main card.
I managed to watch the main event and it went the full five rounds with Dern dominating each and every round.
Just surprised she didn't get the submission in the end. But all respect to Hill as she took a tremendous amount of damage and still stood standing at the end.
Over all the card was a good one and should keep the UFC fans expectations fulfilled until June 3 when the next event will be taking place at the Apex with Kara France vs Amir Albazi.

It was a good decision to go with Mackenzie Dern and Joaquin Buckley because these two fighters are the only ones I know and Edmen Shahbazyan and  Anthony Hernandez I really don't have any idea at all, but watching the fight with Anthony Hernandez and looking at Edmen Shahbazyan's records and stat I surely understand why, why Anthony Hernandez win the match, but surely Dern and Buckley deserves the win and for this event even though this is just a fight night it was like the Main Event because there are a lot of KO/TKO ending and it was really a surprise, to see,

Mackenzie Dern is actually a beast from the stand-up she was really racking and dominating Angela Hill, I really think Hill needs to retire after this fight, but I guess she will think even more about this, but surely she can not escape those takedowns Mackenzie Dern just don't have enough time to finish Hill with the submission, but likely it was a great fight and a fun fight to watch,

Andre Fialho (+185)  VS Joaquin Buckley (-215) - KO WIN

Andre Fialho doesn't see the kick and just like I thought Fialho will surely have a difficult time with Buckley because of that combination of accurate kicks and punches, and I was right about it, he just saw the faints but the upcoming kick he doesn't really see it and that has dropped him to the ground and Buckley will have a slow follow up on Fialho but the referee has already stopped the fight, that kicks really was deep on Fialho, and it was over,

Taking offs the Preliminary Cards I really think that the Main Card is the only interesting fight right now, that could win Via KO/TKO or submission, I really see this as an opportunity for most of the fighters here to regain their confidence and maybe gain a decent win because most of them come from a recent loss in a fight, I really think this is a great opportunity for them for sure, and this event is going to be next week so we don't have any even this weekend,
