So today has three games scheduled due to it being Thanksgiving and then an unusual match happening on a tomorrow for Black Friday.
@rand1919 So you have anything cooking for today's games perhaps so we can dine along side with our turkey lunch or dinner?

In about three hours from now we will have the Green Bay Packers going up against a hungry Detroit Lions team. Expect them to win at home so they can get home early to enjoy the rest of the day with their families.
Then for the later matchups there are Kansas City Chiefs vs Dallas Cowboys.
Not so sure about this one since Dallas looked solid during that comeback against the Eagles in their last match so they will definitely be riding on the momentum from that.

Then the big one that everybody will be waiting for is the return of Joe Burrow with the Baltimore Ravens will see if they can be the party dampeners against the Bengals for the last match of the day.

I don't usually bet much on the NFL, but I enjoy watching the sport and I'm paying closer attention this season because of some predictions I'm making. I knew there were three games today because of Thanksgiving, but I hadn't realized there was another game tomorrow, so I hope it gets off to a good start with the spreads.

Today's first match finished with the Lions failing to score twice on 4th down going for it instead of taking the points. Which cost them in the end of the game.
Atleast I took Green Bay in the NFL Pick'em pool and they certainly covered so that is a plus from this Lions loss.

The game that is currently in progress is the Chiefs and the Cowboys game where Dallas just went up by 6 with two field goals and Kansas City didn't have a response to it in the second half.
Hopefully the Chiefs can score a touchdown in the final frame of the game so they can save my pick on them in the pool.

Final game is a tough one to predict since their starting quarterback is returning from injury.
So there just might be some arm rust on his throwing arm tonight. So Joe will have to work through it so to get back in form.

Watched the ravens game and they did not look like a 1.26 favorite at all, gave away like 5+ turnovers on lamar fumbles and INTs 
Scored 14 points all game and lost by 18 points, godamn!!

One more game today for black friday as eagles are playing against Bears, eagles are 1.29 favorites and while its the week of upsets they should definitely win this comfortably here

Yeah, since I am in North America it would be strange for me to say American Football instead of naming the thread NFL. But that is just me I guess.

Yeah they began with having three games since 2006 from a stat I watched on the highlights from yesterday's Thanksgiving matches. But not every year, so now they have that amazon sponsorship, they can broadcast even more now from the years they hadn't.
But all favorites losing on the same day was a shocker. Especially when the Chiefs needed to win that game to stay within the play-off picture. Now it is a dire situation in Kansas City for the team with Mahomes clutching up all those times in the past to make it there year in and year out.
Only team that is 10-2 are the Patriots which is another surprise since Drake Maye has been doubted by myself in performing every week.

Today's Friday match is going into be played between the 8-3 Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles in just over 2 hours from now.
Sticking with last years champions to cover the spread for my pick'em selection in the pool.

Even the Eagles couldn't avoid the trend of upsets after getting rolled by the Bears. Their defense did everything to bail them out, but their offense was too inconsistent to catch up.

I also can't believe I'm tied for second in the weekly pick 'ems standings. It could've been 4/4, but the last-minute change somehow didn't register in the Chiefs game.

Just unbelievable!
Chicago Bears just stomping out the Philadelphia Eagles like they did ment all the favorites lost over the Thanksgiving/Black Friday holiday.
Detroit Lions were 1.68x, Kansas City Chiefs 1.54x, Baltimore Ravens 1.26x and Philadelphia Eagles were 1.33x. All them lost. So if you were the sharpest to take all the opposite teams to win you would be sitting pretty with a huge win in your hands right now.

Of course I did not think of doing this and that would reflect of what I had selected in the pick'em pool.
I do not hedge my bets as ralle14 does even when the spreads were a good +7.5 on Chicago last night.

The bookies surely raked in a lot of coin on these four upsets, because some of these games were so good to include in parlays. 

As for my hedge, it was only in the pick 'em pool though. It would've been nice if it were the other way around, so i'd have more ammunition to spend in the upcoming weeks.

I've somewhat learned my lesson after getting rinsed several times in the past few weeks, so I might as well get something rather than fall further behind and gain nothing.

NFL week 13 is just about to begin for the Sunday Funday games!

First up on the queue are as follows:
Saints vs Dolphins
Texans vs Colts
Falcons vs Jets
49ers vs Browns
Jags vs Titans
Cardinals vs Buccaneers

Think I will go with Miami, Houston, Atlanta, San Francisco, Jacksonville and Arizona for these first set of matches for the day games.

Doing poorly in the pick'em pool for the past two weeks now so dropped out of the top 10 spots.
On that note, hope @nutildah is still on top of the leaderboard.

Those are some good odds and probably better than what I had on the site's that I use as well.

But already put in my bet on the Patriots for tonight's MNF matchup against the Giants.
New England and Denver are the only teams with 10 wins on the season, with that game against Washington needing to go to OT and only lost because Mariota went for 2-pt convert and had it swatted by the Bronco defense. But Denver still couldn't cover the -6.5 which was annoying because if you watched the game you can see that last TD by the Commanders was just off the fingertips of being blocked too.

Did anyone see that insane catch by Puka Nacua against the Panthers? Even though they lost it was an amazing grab near the end of the game while I watching my pick'em selections were getting absolutely sauced!

Aaron Rodgers got smoked and got the bridge on his nose messed up to go along with his injured wrist.
I should of known the Steelers were going to lose so badly but still went with the cover stupidly.

I believe the Patriots will reach the Super Bowl, winner It's a 13 odds, who knows maybe they'll even become champions.

The one time I doubted them to cover the spread because they've been having close calls, and today they did it with ease. 

If the Patriots can keep this form in the next few weeks and hold off the Ravens and Bills, then they might be one of the best teams to make an appearance in the Super Bowl.

Yeah I went 500 with my results for week 13 of the NFL matches in the Pick'em pool.
Slide down to 18th place I think. But still five more weeks to go so plenty of time to catch up to the leader @nutildah with 118pts last I looked at the results for the week.
So New England have one of the best records ever since the 2001-2009 season's from the Tom Brady days.

Talking with their customer support, i know they have some automated system for the players - like risk system, but they dont do KYC, so maybe it was an error trigger. It's part of their main USP's. One of the reasons why i started to play there.

I agree on odds tho, odds are good, decent promos and offer on lines, especially on NFL Monday and Thursday. If you love to catch good odds and markets, it works pretty good for me.

Now lets get on with today's TNF matchup.
We have the Detroit Lions trying to retrieve some dignity from their last game at home losing it so badly to the Packers. They are facing Dak Prescott and the red hot Cowboy's offense tonight.
Seeing how badly Goff played and got sacked so many times I will be going with Dallas on this one.
Amon-Ra St. Brown was injured during the Green Bay game and had to leave early on.
So with that ankle sprain he will be questionable to start in the lineup:

The spread could also be a play if you are betting on this game as it is -5.5 for the Lions. So the cover for the Cowboys would more than likely be a good bet to make.

Week 14 start today with the Lions vs Cowboys game, a direct duel between two teams vying for a playoff spot. The Cowboys won their last two games as underdog, and they're underdog again today. Meanwhile, the Lions have struggled to win or cover their spread in their recent games, so the statistics seem to favor the Cowboys despite them not being the favorites. I think it will be a close game.
