The fight is back on. My opinion has still not changed. Canelo is many levels above Caleb Plant and I see him winning comfortably. This would be a historic win for Canelo because he would become the first undisputed champion from Mexico.

Yeah, Caleb is a good boxer, no doubt about it, but he is not on Canelo's level in my opinion. Canelo is way above any middle or super middle weight champion and has improved a lot in the last two years and continue to become one of the best in our generation.

Caleb Plant is a stationary fighter, I don't see much movement from him in his previous fight, he just go in front of his opponent and try to use his power. But it won't make difference, as Canelo will find that body shot to weaken or knock him out.

Canelo's next opponent looks hard to find. The negotiations seem to be unstable even until now. The match between Alvarez and Plant was almost a done deal before things turned out differently. There came Bivol as the next possible opponent but it seems to have fallen through as well. I hope this is it and Canelo and Caleb is really going to face each other inside the ring come October. This is a better fight than the other possibility. But still I think Canelo is in his peak and it is very hard for Caleb to surmount Canelo's power and tough chin.
