We don't know what's the real score on why Alvarez didn't want GGG the trilogy that he's asking; I agree that GGG really gives him a tough fight. Both fights are really hard to determine. Only judges can explain how they come up with the score that they gave.

For now Canelo should be more focus as Nov is nearing, and he needs to good preparation to beat Plant.

It will be a test for Plant if he has that caliber like GGG or a good strategy like Mayweather. Everything will be answered
when the fight happens.

It's not going to be a question of money, for sure he will get a lot from a third fight. So it remains a mystery to all of us boxing fans and we can only speculate.

If he is confident that he can win a third fight and received a big paycheck because I don't think it will be a 50/50 split, why he decided to go up in weight and face less dangerous champions?

You never know how it is going to work out for Caleb. It can go both ways. Yes, it's really a bad move by Caleb to make his way to the fight and trash talk Canelo. He will pay dearly for it, Canelo doesn't talk but maybe deep inside he will surely aiming for the head and knock out Caleb if it presents itself. Caleb on the other hard is making himself into a deep position because how can you trash talk a fighter wherein he is destroying everyone in the path? And Caleb will not gather any support from the public, on the contrary he could be hated for this for the rest of his boxing career.

I think the number 5 reason is the appropriate one lol. To date, GGG is already 38 years old (correct me if i'm wrong) and he is getting slower and not the old GGG we used to see that knocks his opponents out with ease. Even if they fight tomorrow, Canelo would still win because GGG is depreciating.

I think the reason why they delay/neglect a possible trilogy with GGG is that they are planning to be in the history books of unifying the four major belts in this division.

The reason doesn't make any sense to me although he beat the same guy twice, that was close. If the other party is requesting a rematch and he thinks that something is needed in settlement to finally end the discussion, he should consider taking the rematch. 3 wins over 0 should settle the deal. Although he has a point that other boxers should enter the scene.

Yeah, but prior to that, they have unfinished business with GGG and the fans deserves another fight. They could have given that to us before these so called plans of unifying the four major belts in 168 lbs. Canelo even have to break with Oscar and even DAZN to get away from a GGG trilogy. LOL.

But time is passing, even GGG is still fit and aggressive to fight, we cant deny that he is not getting any younger and changes is inevitable. It would be great to see Canelo and GGG for their third fight to push through (since Canelo is open for it to happen) but I dont think its going to be as exciting as before, they have 8 years age gap and we know younger boxer has more edge to win. Anyway that fight is still uncertain so better to focus on Canelo's upcoming fight to Caleb.
