Don't have any predictions when GekkoScience new compac F and usb hubs will be available for sale?

I'm also looking forward to it.

Any one have some advice here?  I am running out of ideas, rest of my Compac Fs run fine, this one did for a while too, now all of a sudden:
Code:
 0: GSF 10050600: found 0 chip(s)         |  0.000 /  0.000h/s WU:0.0/m

Cgminer keeps trying to start it:
Code:
 2: GSF 10050600: found 0 chip(s)         | OFF

Not sure where to go next, played with freq & voltage... reinstalled driver... Thanks in advance of any advice.

I got 5 others running on the same USB Hub... PSU is built in, it's the 20 port one.  I've unplugged them all to test this one, tried hot plugging etc...

Probably the chip crapped out. Contact the seller for support.

I had three of these on one of the gekko hubs but one of them no matter what I try will not average above 168gh since I received it. I've had it on a hub alone in two different win10 computers. Tried adjusting from 400-650mhz tried turning up the voltage. Nothing better. Now the port in the hub where it had been running since the beginning of the month went from being intermittent to dead and the active ports have power but no data. I'm not sure if the stick took out the hub or the other way around but I am going to contact 419 about what to do next.

I just recently purchased "3 x GekkoScience COMPAC F with Fan Upgrade + Bitcoin Merch® 7-Port USB Hub - COMBO Up to 1.05+TH/s" from Bitcoin Merch and I am not getting the 1.05+TH/s stated.  Instead I am getting at total of 291.4g from all 3 miners (each miner @ around 93.59g).  Can anyone tell me why this is?  Is it because of the 7-port USB Hub not providing the required power?  Here are the commands I am using to start cgminer:

cgminer -O stratum+tcp://us-east.stratum.slushpool.com:3333 -u xxxxx -p xxxxx x --suggest-diff 442 --gekko-serial "GS-100xxxxx,GS-100xxxxx,GS-100xxxxx" --gekko-compacf-detect --gekko-compacf-freq 400 --gekko-start-freq 400 --gekko-mine2 --gekko-tune2 60

Thanks.

Thanks.

Start with only 1 F in your hub. Adjust your command to:

cgminer -O stratum+tcp://us-east.stratum.slushpool.com:3333 -u xxxxx -p xxxxx x --suggest-diff 512 --gekko-compacf-detect --gekko-compacf-freq 500 --gekko-start-freq 400 --gekko-mine2 --gekko-tune2 60

You should get ~ 320 Gh/s with one F inserted.
(Verify cgminer output, not Slushpool stats.)

Then insert another F and see if the 2nd F has a similar rate. With the 3rd F inserted after a while, you should have all three F running with around 320 Gh/s each.

If that's successful, you can adjust the frequency parameter (--gekko-compacf-freq) to a higher setting (i.e. 505, 510 ...)

Thanks for the help.

I have tried what you suggested, "increasing the --gekko-compacf-freq by increments" without success.  I changed the frequency up to 560 and decided not to further increase.  Let me know what the max I should attempt to use as I can continue.  I am curious if this is the issue in red:

cgminer version 4.12.0 - Started: [2022-02-13 12:21:39:514]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(5s):93.2G  (1m): 94.58G  (5m):70.48G  (15m):34.34G  (avg):82.2Gh/s
A:7680  R:16384  HW:96  WU:1463.3/m
Connected to us-east.stratum.slushpool.com diff 512 with stratum as user xxxxx.geko
Block: 5f2313d3...  Dif:26.7T  Started: [12.21:39:515]  Best share: 11.9k
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
U]SB management [P]ool management S]ettings [D]isplay options [Q]uit
0: GSF 10051399: BM1397:01+ 200.00MHz T:200 P:1904 (21:32) | 100% WU:100% | 98.2G / 86.2Gh/s WU:1484.4/m
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe this maybe related to old drivers for the miner.  Is there anyway to check to see if there is a driver update for the new COMPAC F?  If there is how would you go by updating the software to support the new driver?

In the mean time I have placed an order for a new hub (Bitcoin Merch® - 10 Port Powered USB Hub ONLY 120W 12V 10A) just incase this is power related.

I have had the most fun and learned the most playing with your devices. Thank you and keep up the good work without interesting technology my spare time would be boring.

Okay I think I figured this out.

Yes my issue was the cgminer install was bad!  Also, I should have mentioned I am running cgminer on a virtual machine hosted by ESXi from Vmware.  I was able to blow away the cgminer and reinstall it using UBUNTU successfully.  Once I issued my commands:

cgminer -O stratum+tcp://us-east.stratum.slushpool.com:3333 -u xxxxx -p xxxxx x --suggest-diff 512 --gekko-compacf-detect --gekko-compacf-freq 480 --gekko-start-freq 400 --gekko-mine2 --gekko-tune2 60

Everything started to work and I am reporting freq in range 400 to 480.  I may have to decrease the freq of 480 as I do see a lot of "plateau NONONCE adjust: RESET target frequency 480.00MHz -> 400Mhz".  It does adjust up and down every now and then.

Thanks for the assistance!!

1) You won't get PCB files, I'm pretty sure. Cheesy
2) These sticks use multi-layer PCBs, I don't think you can make those at home.
3) These are stick miners, not wallets.
4) You will need to get the components as well, and especially the ASIC may or may not be too easy to source.
5) Especially if you've never used that PCB printer before, I'd suggest starting off with a simpler PCB (these have quite a lot of small traces & components and - as mentioned - inner layers).
6) NewPac? This is the CompacF thread!! ^^

I am having a bit of a challenge with stabilizing the mining frequencies on the compac F.

Currently, I'm testing out 2 hubs with 3 Ferraris on each, when i plug in one of the hubs either directly to the PC (windows) or on a 7-port usb hub attached to the PC, it runs smoothly without problems on 550Mhz. But then, when i connect the 2nd Hub to the PC, they stay around 250 ~ 320 Mhz and after a while starts affecting the first hub which lowers the output & rejected shares begin to populate on the screen.

would appreciate any tips / help.

BTW, the PC has 8 usb ports at the back & 4 in front... Most of which are 2.0 ports. My original intention was to connect all the data cable from the miner hub to a usb hub and attach to PC.
