There are several altcoin that i have been holding for Years and also holding by others that bought or owned from ICO years back  yet nothing happens increasing, this is depending on what coin you are holding and if the altcoin has potential  because even how long and large you are holding if the coin is scam or Shit then there is no way that it will pump for lifetime.

It could be safe doing a transaction if we use exchanges like Binance. Although we know that fees are high especially for ERC-20 projects at least we are sure that it arrives at its destination wallet, unlike the P2P transactions. Maybe we could say that KYC makes us not anonymous anymore as Binance requires it, and besides, many exchanges are asking for this also, but this is not a big deal especially when we are talking money and our safety.

If you know that your hodl altcoins has high potential for long term then hodling is the key for you to get rich. I have seen plenty of people who get rich because they hodl long termly and trust their altcoins.
