Comparing yourself to a legendary boxer surely is ridiculous... so maybe we will see Berlanga biting the ear of his opponent in the future as well. TBH, being controversial is the new normal in the boxing world already. Look at Davis, Garcia, Romero and other fighters as well that talk shit to their opponent. I also have the same speculation and I think this is the sentiments of most boxing fans. Well, I guess that's the reason why he compared himself to Mike Tyson after all. Of course we know that in terms of greatness, Berlanga is nowhere near and the only similarities between the 2 of them is... the one that you said that both of them bit their opponent's ears. Benavidez is willing to go down to super middleweight if Canelo is going to fight him. He said that after his 175 lbs win against Morrell. It won't happen this year as Canelo will only fought twice in a given year. He will have his schedule fight in May with Scull then after that, it will be Crawford this September. So the cycle will repeat so if there is a chance that him and Benavidez will clash, it will be next year the latest.

But if Canelo is not going to be interested, then I doubt that it will happen as Canelo is also getting old and he might be thinking of retiring already. So only time can judge how great he is. I do agree, and this is the result of Bivol beating Canelo. Perhaps it just open his mind that he can't beat everyone, specially a tall fighter which throw a lot of punches. Not necessarily all power punches, but at least enough to really distort Canelo's game plan.

And this could be the reason why he is not willing to take another risk with that can of fighter. And we see that in David, another young and hungry fighter, very imposing physically and probably this is the kryptonite of Canelo at this point of his career. That's why he chooses small fighters or boxers that will have to go up in weight to fight him.

Logan will only agree with a showdown if he has good money afterwards. With no name in this boxing world, I don't think Logan will push thru such match even if he is Messi's bodyguard. Logan vs Messi can fetch up more fans to watch, for an exhibition match. But we all know, Messi is not on this sports. So nope, I don't think such match will happen.

Do take note that most exhibition matches are for money grabs, only few are for charity purposes. If there will be no enough audience, Logan won't be up for this. I agree, we all know that they started as influencers and so they are chasing just to be talk again. We all know that after Paul's fight with Mike Tyson and it was reported as well that he will be facing Conor next. However, it was just for clout and nothing happens.
