I get and understand that there are customers that are thinking of their welfare and if the casino does that issue answered right away, the customer will keep on complaining despite the solution is already in front of him. The team just have to remove him from the automation of sending of their promotions.

That's the funny thing in this case. Instead of keeping himself away from the promotional email by using the unsubscribe feature or simply blocking the email from Stake, he prefer to create a new account and make a deposit to play after a long rest since the self exclusion. In my opinion, OP was aware what he did and he tried to test his luck after the rest but unfortunately he lost the new deposit then try to blame Stake for his new lost.

He's aware and he said that he's just recovering. And in that means, he should have avoided those promotional emails and made his initiative of blocking them.

It's a big issue for the OP. But we don't know if things have been settled already and stake has already granted his request of blocking or removing him from the list of promo email receivers.
We have different stand and understanding towards it, it's that you have to understand that it may be subtle for you and me but there really are those folks that have to be delicate on this matter and they think that they had to be addressed and served well.

When it comes to exposure and due to easy access or simply talks about accessibility then there would be lots of temptations or things along the way which could really poke up your own
addiction inside and if you arent really serious on quitting gambling in the  first place then you would really be finding this as a hard situation for you to get rid of on things.

I don't see any fault in the platform itself here. We as a gambler should know our own responsibility. We are not even sure that Stake is the only one exposed to the OP. Even he completely get rid of any Stake stuff, there always be a time that he will encounter a different site.

I totally agree, overcoming gambling addiction is very difficult but having a self dedication and determination to overcome it would only make a person become successful on moving on from it and officially heal from this addiction. But on the other hand, I can't also invalidate the feeling of OP about the gambling site because I think he really have a hard time overcoming his gambling addiction but also on the other hand, we shouldn't have to blame the site also because at the end of the day the healing process of a certain person lies ahead on them.

Absolutely. If we can be triggered by an e-mail, then we can be triggered by anything, from a scene in a movie to a graffiti on a dirty wall.  Those are all excuses from dealing with the problem properly. A gambling addict should be visiting a specialist, and maybe taking some medicines, until nothing could make him gamble again. Before that day giving this person money(including such money he's trying to get from Stake) would only worsen his condition.

I'm sure there's a setting in our Email provider for blocking or ignoring emails from a specific email address.

As far as I know, since Stake only uses 1 email address dedicated for their promotions, OP can consider doing the address blocking or something related to that.

Give it a try, OP if there's a problem dealing with Stake's unsubscription list.

If the OP has strong desire to change his path, the emails won't be a problem for him.
He can always ignore it and focus on his goals in life.

Although there might be some lapses on where Stake had commited out but as a user and you know that  you are self excluded then you shouldn't
really made out deposits on the first place.

Its a self will kind of act which it isn't surprising that it did turn up into a mess.

The way to recognize the overall problem would be over a lifetime of avoiding this mistake and to not repeat it.    So I would have to agree with the above comment that the mistake is more likely to be solved by taking onboard the mistake personally and accepting the loss is part of the price to avoid future losses.  The lifetime achievement of getting past this is far bigger then the loss for just this occasion, its worth accepting the mistake personally.
  I agree you should not be getting promotional emails at all, really this cant be allowed to get through from any company.  That does need to be addressed separately and I would recommend something like gmail as an email client that can filter emails, block this kind of thing as part of a safe internet policy that companies do advance as a requirement or basic feature.  Dont rely on just one element or company as obviously multiple avenues exist to gamble so a general approach will be needed.
