If more than 1 person sharing a same position with exact numbers, which is highly unlikely due to superbru system (Win, margin, TDM) so they should share the prize money which is allotted to that particular position. It's seems fair practice in regard to other winners also but please let me know what you guys think?

I don't think it's fair. Let's take the current scenario as an example.



As per my proposal only 4 of them should be declared winners. Timon takes 50%. Royse, kpk & Sword splits the remaining 50% ie.16.67%.
But what you say is that there are 6 winners, Timon takes 50%. Royse, kpk & sword take 10% each for coming 2nd. Raptar & Teo also take 10% for coming 3rd. If anyone of the 3 (Royse,kpk,sword) somehow moved to 3rd spot and push those at the 3rd spot to fourth. Then he would get 20% for 3rd position and the other 2 get 15% each sharing the 30% for the 2nd position. Do they seem fair to you?

In this example raptor and teosanru standing at 5th position, not 3rd (If superbru ranking not counting them as 3rd then who are we to make any decisions on their ranking?) so in this scenario this seems okay "Royse, kpk & Sword splits the remaining 50% ie.16.67%."

Having said that overall i would say that this sample size is too small imo and on micro level TDM seals the final deal, which is missing atm. I know it's just an example but still..

We're talking about more than 1 participants to get exact WB, MP and TDM after 70+ matches, not saying its not possible but odds are way too low.

It doesn't mean that i don't agree with you. You have a valid point, let's keep this discussing going and let others to jump in. I'm sure we'll reach to consensus soon.

Yeah, I'm from India but some says I'm not LOL. That’s something else.
I thought KKR will make it finally but they were lacking of a bowler at the end. Russel was having a poor bowling yesterday & they didn’t have the 6th bowler come in and have a good spell. In the 2nd last over, Harshal Patel hit 2 four. That was the turning for RCB.
I guess CSK will win at the end. But, I may pick LSG as well depending on the toss.

These low scoring fixtures are amazing and more fun to watch. After KKR's batting i thought this is going to be dead rubber but it ended up being thriller.

Surprisingly this is the same venue where we saw 400+ Runs (RCB vs PUN).

Venkatesh Iyer seemed risky at death over but he wasn't bowling bad tho, KKR could have get Dinesh Kartik wicket but they missed out very simple run out chance.

It was already discussed long ago and as far as I remember we all agreed to superbru tie breaker policy.  If we do not want to use superbru tie break then for two top point earners we can go like,
1st - 50% of prize pool
2nd - 30% of prize pool

We have 80% of prize pool. Now we split it between two.

Obviously the final decision should come from JSRAW.

Lucknow vs Chennai up next. Am expecting Lucknow to win this one since Chennai doesn't seem strong anymore thanks to the captaincy change along with some bad player changes. They desperately need players like Ali in their squad.

On the other hand, Lucknow seems to be performing well even though they lost against Gujarat. However, I hate their uniform which is my least favorite among all IPL uniforms so far.

Lol okay so i guess i'm not the only one who hate their jersey, even logo is third class. Billion dollar team but can't hire creative designer.

I have no love for Lucknow/KL but today CSK playing with only 3 overseas players, so i went with the Lucknow.

Uthappa looking different batter nowadays. Actually so far fair amount of local talent doing decent job.

Chennai have got a good batting line-up in this match. Other than Gaikwad who lost his wicket on runout have scored runs building up the score reach 210 runs. The bowling isn't good as expected and the bowling order too is really worse. 19th over to Shivam Dubey isn't a needed one.

On the other hand, Lucknow seems to be performing well even though they lost against Gujarat. However, I hate their uniform which is my least favorite among all IPL uniforms so far.

Lucknow is playing good. While watching the match my girl too said about the dress colour which isn't looking good. Maybe soon we can expect a change as more people seems to be feeling the same.

Punjab up against Kolkata. I bet on Kolkata this time around since they won their first match comfortably and took the second match down to the wire. On the other hand, Punjab played really well in their first game against RCB.

They might probably underperform in this match since they aren't the most consistent team out there. Also, they need better bowlers in my opinion.

I'm loving the Sri Lankan's contribution in this edition. Last guy i remember is Malinga but now at least 3 guys Rajapakse-Hasaranga-Chameera making fair amount of noise in Indian circuit.

My money was on Punjab due to gut feeling despite knowing that dew is playing big part in second inning and now looking at the scorecard it does looks like that Punjab's fans lost the bet and points too.

Before the last match only I complimented the Punjab's batting unit because of the great strength that it has and we saw a gigantic collapse of that batting unit in this match, if it wouldn't have been for Rabada in the end, this match wouldn't have been called even a fight, but later for KKR it was just Russel who actually turned the match after fall of 4 wickets, infact he was the one who took Rabada's wicket as well, no doubt why Russel was retained by KKR I can't recall any other player who has converted losing matches into winning matches more number of times than he has.

I had a bet on MI to win. Sadly, they didn’t. Despit Bumrah having 3 wickets for 17 run only from 4 overs, RR scored a big one. MI doesn’t have better bowling option in bench as well. That's sad. MI this year doesn’t look like the classic team we used to see though last year, they didn’t perform well.
I really feel bad for Ishan Kishan. He had a great 2 matches so far but due to poor team performance, they got no attention.

I went with Rajasthan because of the weak batting line up of Mumbai and the age of the players when chasing big totals, in the second match i am going with Gujarat Titans because of the bowling lineup they have and if they can put a decent score on the board, they will win the match comfortably.

Hopefully they will score above 170 runs and if that is the case Delhi Capitals will find it difficult to chase.

I think SKY will be back in the next match, I was even surprised not to see him in this match as well because I read Zaheer khan saying that he is fit to play but wasn't in the team. Maybe SKY can solve the middle order problems for Mumbai Indians but the bigger problem is the bowling attack, there is no one to bowl along side Bumrah in the death, on one end you saw today Bumrah protecting runs while on the other end there was huge leakage of runs. Thhampi also isn't in his best touch this season. I think it's better to try maybe Unadkat or Meridith instead of Mills or Thhampi in the next match. MI has to improve the bowling performance first.
