The game is very much over for Croatia as Argentine has scored 2 goals in 40 mins of play. Argentina are lucky to get a plenty and Messi doesnt miss much. Croatia took the pressure and gave Argentina some openings Alvarez was the one who scored the second goal. A solo run from Alvarez and perhaps the best goal of WC so far. The first half is about to complete and Croatia have a big task to do in second half. We have seen some stunning goals from Netherlands in there match against Argentina. Lets see whether we see some similar stuff today.

It's just a matter of seeing what Croatia's move in the second half will be like, but as far as looking at the first half with Argentina's style which tends to last, I don't think this will be much different, especially since they have won quite comfortably now. Argentina's two goals in the first half were expected given how they were creating chances. The pressure was too much for Croatia's defense, resulting in a penalty and a goal within five minutes.
Argentina has almost qualified for the World Cup final in Qatar if Croatia fails to score or equalize, because I believe Argentina will score more goals in the second half.

From the looks of things Messi is on the road to the final of the World Cup. They are currently up against Croatia and are really doing a good job. I must say there isn’t that exceptional players in Argentina apart from Messi but they are a team with strong unity and are playing to the best of their abilities.

I don't understand why they are so brave even though it would be better if they played more defensive from the start like they did against Brazil.
But maybe another calculation is that they wanted to make a splash and hoped for some mistakes from Argentina but it just backfired on them.

The first game with KSA turned out to be a moral booster for Argentina as they never lost any game after that. I am very much confident that Argentina will play the final with Morroco/France. Croatia will defiantly get bolder but I don't think Argentina will give them any opportunity to score 2 or three goals. Defiantly Argentina will go to defense in second half. There is no need for Argentina to attack rather they will prefer to defend there goal for next 45 minutes. It will be an upset if Croatia win from here as chances are rear.

Croatia backline cost them this one. They look disorganized and I don’t understand their game plan. Croatia played the first 15 minutes good then all changed. Messi scored a goal from penalty then Alvarez run almost 60% of the field alone to score the second goal. Now it is almost an own goal by Croatia.
It doesn't seem good for Croatia at all this match..

Sad to see Croatia suffer a humiliating 2:0 defeat after the first 45 minutes of play, Croatia were doing  very well as you said in the first few minutes of the game but Argentina took over the game from the midfield and that led to the creation of the first goal that was converted by Messi through the penalty kick.

I think the second goal that was scored by Julian Alvarez was a fantastic finish, the ball control and the run was amazing and I think Argentina has demoralized the performance of the Croatian players with the goal and it's just for them to defend the goals till the final whistle.

I don't think the Croatians will be able to equalise the goals if they continue playing this way in the second half,instead Argentina will score more goals.
