I still can't believe how Kane used the second penalty that much badly. He could have kicked the ball a little more gently like he did on his first penalty. Lloris was already not going to save that penalty anyway. I can't blame Rashford for not scoring the free-kick because it wasn't a bad shot. Maybe England should have used the same tactic Netherlands did against Argentina.

Too many upsets in this world cup. The under dogs rose to fame and those teams who were expected to reach the semifinals have perished. Absolutely mind blowing game of football has been witnessed by every football fan.

Portugal getting defeated by Morocco was for me the biggest upset. Astounding goal keeping by the Moroccon goal keeper. England came back in the second half with an equaliser but when they missed the penalty the fate of English side was known.

It has been an interesting worldcup so far and I think not many players would have predicted that both Croatia and Morocco would be in the semi finals! I think France has the highest chance to win the worldcup again but guess we will find out in the next couple of days!

It was very disappointing that a striker like Harry Kane could not score a goal in such a critical match when he had the opportunity at 84 minutes. France continues to the Cup. France is actually the team that could be the most ideal champion for this cup, I agree with you. If someone said that Morocco,Croatia would be in the semi-finals, I would have told someone to go there before the cup started, but this happened. A lot has happened in this world cup. Now the world cup champion may even be a team we totally didn't anticipate.

I think Christiano Ronaldo's dream of winning the World Cup is ended today, I feel awful for him. I find it impossible to imagine that happening to him because he is among the greatest players in history that has established numerous records, and is determined to set more during this World Cup. However, he was unable to do so. I don't think he will participate in another World Cup due to his old age.

Because what's nice about France becoming champion again with that strong selection? Tonight could have gone very differently. Kane missed his 2nd penalty, but it didn't stand a chance after that.

The match between France and England, is tough and by now the match would have 2:2 but England missed penalty, because i believe that with the mistake of missing their penalty goal been England, they have lose the match, because that's only opportunity i seen that have make them to equalize the game, so since they have missed the penalty nothing will make them to score again, because i believe that France will be playing more defensive more than an attack in other to protect their goal, and more changes will come in if they should win the match.

Harry Kane missed the penalty that would have leveled the game with 2:2 for England to continue playing at the extra half but this was not to happen as he played the kick above the post. I think the reason he pulled the ball up was because he only would target the right side of the post and since he had scored the first penalty from that angle, he felt the keeper who is also his team mate in Tottenham would go that right direction. The best would have been for him to allow someone else play the penalty. Unfortunately, he lost it and England has also lost out of the world cup. That free kick was good though, he just needed 2-3 meters longer for ball to curve. The missed penalty though have no excuse. You don't score a penalty you get out of the cup. Kane already scored a penalty kick, I think somebody else should've used second penalty. England found more positions but France was better at finishing. Tchouameni's goal was unbelievable. Goalkeepers can't do much about that shot. Giroud's header was also great, Griezmann made a perfect assist. France deserved semi final more, it is what it is.

Yeah, it is indeed his last world cup and one that, he wasn't wasn't his best at. Ronaldo never did leave a mark in this world cup and thats what he had hoped for. He wanted more than anything anything be the Hero he has always been for Portugal but instead, he found himself coming from the bench as a substitute player in the second half, following the last 2 games of there team in the world cup. That doesn't tell very much on him. You can see when he came on in this fixture, he tried to create an assist in setting a ball for Joao Felix who hits it but couldn't find the goal, Ronaldo as well did take a run for a crossed ball and hit it just once but still, the goalkeeper was there to stop it. All his effort to salvage the situation for Portugal didn't work out and his got to go home.

Let's not forget, Ronaldo has got issues with clubside football and he needed to be at his best in the world cup to offer some bias and still hope to be revered for a be player but, the chance is gone now.

Unbelievable! Morocco win! Ronaldo, Fernandes, Pepe. None of them could help their team win. Ronaldo is a football legend and he deserves to be world champion. But football is a team game and Morocco were the best team on the field.

Harry Kane would have played that second penalty coolly into the middle knowing that the keeper would be expecting him to play it to the sides, that would have been a goal, and an equalizer to give England a chance. Good game in general from both teams, and good performance in this competition from England, but they are out of the competition and in a couple of days we will know if England will decide to drop their head coach Gareth Southgate, or if he will give another person a chance.

It's so hard to know this, so many bad things happen this year to Ronaldo. I really hope that Portugal would be able to win this FWC, at least for the last performance of Ronaldo.
