Qater playing the first game of the tournament and also becoming the first team to lose a whole 3 points. It wasn't an easy game for the hosts as they lost to Ecuador 2 nil. One of the very dissapointing results for Qater with their coach, Felix Sanchez not happy with the results. The game was favorable for Ecuador with a well deserved penalty to double their lead and a brace from Valencia. Poor performance from Qater, poor results from them, and they might striker harder in other games.

Qatar is not good at football. However, as the host country, they have become well known in the football world and their name is now very well known to the world. I think this is their biggest takeaway from this tournament. The coach Felix Sanchez himself knows that Qatar is not very good but he believed that Qatar is going to present world class game to the people of the world. There was no hint of that kind of play in yesterday's match. Now how they present themselves in other matches is the big concern. According to yesterday's performance, it will be hard to win against anyone according to their performance.

Good penalty kick from Valencia to give Ecuador their first goal this world cup. Valencia is the man of the match scoring two goal in the opening match,this goals he scored today has also made him the highest goal scorer in his country since history.

Qatar tried their best but they missed some opportunities in the  game,no goal was conceived in the second half by both keepers. I don't think Qatar will have a place in the second round because it is obvious that they will not make it. Qatar tried to make a comeback, but the finishing was not good. They had a few chances. But they could not convert them into anything.

Ecuador really played very well in this match. Enner Valencia of Ecuador team scored 2 goals in this match. He scored one goal in the first 16 minutes of the game and after some time he scored another goal. After that no other team could score after half time.  .In this match Ecuador won the match by scoring two goals and they got 3 points by winning this match.

Both team played very well in the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador. Ecuador scored two goals yesterday.Two goals in the first half and no goals in the second half. Some people had a misconception that Qatar could spoil this match. But as Qatar presented this match in a very beautiful atmosphere, all people's misconceptions were dispelled. Kudos to the FIFA World Cup management team.

In my opinion Qatar looked nervous playing last night, in my opinion Qatar did not play well, because they only had 1 golden opportunity which almost created a goal for Qatar, with Ecuador's game which has speed in playing and mastering the game it is very clear that Ecuador is tougher than host, Enner Valencia's game made Qatar's defense useless. It was easy for Ecuador's Enner Valencia to penetrate and scored 2 goals at once to lead Ecuador to win last night's game. Of course, the Qatar coach must improve the mentality of their players for the next match, so that doesn't happen. like last night..

I have been clear many times that Africans don't have any chance in this year's world cup, they are not strong contenders. Even if Sadio Mane was not affected by his injury, nothing would still be done by his team, they could only try.
