England scored 6 goals in this match which is really happy news for me.  I placed a bet on this match and I won this match. I can't imagine that England will play so well. I thought at first that this match might be a draw but it wasn't. England won the match by scoring 6 goals.

In the first match, the England team proved that the England team is also the favorite to become the champions of the World Cup with a great victory of 6-2. I know that Iran is not a strong team. However England's performance and match strategy impressed me. England's dominance was visible from the first minute of the match. But it took them 35 minutes to score the first goal. And they took a 3-0 lead in the first half as Kane, Saka, Sterling and Bellingham all played brilliantly. And the important thing is that Harry Maguire performed quite well today. If this performance continues, England will win the next matches as well.

I totally agree. Although Iran is not a very strong team, the 6-2 score was a really great starting score. I did not watch the match, but England showed how assertive they are in this tournament with this win. The USA-Wales match to be played today has gained a different importance. I see the Wales team one step ahead. I think Wales will win the game even though the USA is a more organized team.

It is earlier said that we should choose a team to support when the full matches or the tournament has started, Argentina and Brazil were the talk of the thread, now we have seen what happened yesterday. I have not seen a country that hosted world loss their opening match which Qatar did. And I really like what England did today. That is to tell us that they will go far in the tournament.
Let us see what will happen to Senegal and Netherlands when the match has ended. For now they playing Senegal 0 - 0 Netherlands. Senegal is also trying. Senegal is the only African team we also hope for.

Thats why this is football, histories are meant to be made and broken. Especially at the world cup where a lot of young talents are being introduced with a mindset of trying to prove themselves and make a mark in the historic event.
Qatar played badly yesterday and deserved what they got. It could have been even more but, that match were there best chance of getting some points in this tournament as, other teams are even the more tough than Ecuador.

England, England were just exceptional while they played Iran. Its a performance I hope to see from them while competing other top teams.

It's been a good first  half for the Netherlands and Senegal. Goalless first half and both teams have been creating chances that could have resulted a goal but, not really taking the chance.

Senegal played quite well in the first half. They played a fast game against the Netherlands, it's just that their finishing was still lacking up front. Senegal's attack built through the midfield has not been maximized. In my opinion, the Senegalese midfielders have to take advantage of the speed that their wing forwards have because Van Dijk is losing in terms of pace.

The Dutch almost scored through the feet of Frenkie de Jong, but he still missed. We'll see how the second half of the match has started. Senegal vs Netherlands is an interesting match compared to the 2 matches that have been completed (Qatar vs Ecuador and England vs Iran).

The first half ended goalless, even in my previous post I made my choice for the Netherlands, but seeing their game in the first half was really disappointing because they had several good opportunities but didn't finish perfectly. I hope the Dutch can put more pressure in the second half because this is the best chance for them to get 3 points. Senegal in the first round also appeared impressive which was able to provide strong resistance where the statistics of their first round match were able to release more shots than the Netherlands. the second half has started let's see how strong netherlands is to beat the senegal to get 3 points.

They were always late in making the transition from defense to attack, as a result they were unable to capitalize on the void in the Dutch back line and the Dutch were able to quickly close their gap. I noted there were at least 3 times they were late in the transition. If they can do well in the first half, Senegal will be able to trouble the Netherlands more in this match. England's game was exciting from the start. England team players scored these three goals in the first half of the game. The first goal was scored by Jude Bellingham 35 minutes into the game. The English team were class and outplayed the Iranian team from start to finish if not for some VAR decision Iran wouldn't have scored via a penalty, the duo of Bellingham and Saka were too brilliant I am not surprised that Southgate played Saka ahead of Foden, his terrific form for the gunners had been transferred to his national team and was rewarded with two goals today, Iranians are no match to the England team thus Iranian squad is not formidable enough to withstand their opponent however they have Wales and USA as their other opponents in their subsequent matches probably they can get some points.

Indeed the game is interesting and the most balanced so far comparing to Qatar and Iran ones. You have the feeling that there is a goal that can be scored at any moment. It is true that it is a goalless so a little bit annoying but a single counter attack can reverse everything. It is unfortunate to not see Mane here, you feel his absence.
I prefer to see a draw between them. Both teams deserve to pass to the next stage imo.

England is known as a strong team around the world and their team players can perform well in all matches. In today's England vs Iran match, we saw that England's style of play is different. They play very intelligently which is why they scored the highest goal in the field today. In the England match, after they first scored 4 goals, Iran scored 1 consecutively, and then when England scored 6 goals, Iran scored 1 more goal. It can be seen that England won the match by 6-2 at the end of the match. And their group points ahead +4 and Iran's group points -4. Due to England's good performance in this match, their group points have advanced a lot and Iran's group points have decreased a lot. Let's see if Iran can advance their group points in the next match.

I wouldn't say that both teams are bad. The game is not bad to watch even though there are no goals. The way both teams are playing, I wouldn't be surprised if there are no goals at all.

I also think the same as you, the Senegal vs Netherlands match was very exciting, the two teams attacked each other but the Netherlands still didn't show maximum results

It's not been a bad watch. The first half has been fair. I go with popular opinion that it will end in favour of the Netherlands. Although, must say that so far, Senegal has been confident. There would have been a goal in the first 4 minutes, I'm glad it didn't find the back of the net. De jong also had a poor finishing due to his balance. Ismailia whenever he gets the ball tries to do something positive with it.
