Guys, what do you think of this first round of the World Cup?

We had some unforeseen events that I never imagined could happen... for example, Germany and Argentina losing those games, which could have been easy for them.

But I believe it is still too early to make a premeditated decision.

Brazil, France, Spain, England and Netherlands, these teams have a great chance of being champions of this world cup?

I agree with saying 2 goals is still too few if you look at the chances but I would still commend the performance of the Brazilian players in this match.
Richalrison's 2 goals are really very good, especially the second goal that he scored is really classy in my opinion.
On the other hand I saw the contribution of Vini in these 2 goals and of course this is a good thing in my opinion even though Vini did not contribute goals in this match but seeing what he does on the flanks is really amazing.

What difference does it make how many goals they score? The important thing was to win the match and get 3 points. The World Cup is being played, you see how many matches have ended 0-0. Even if they score a goal, if they don't concede, that's enough. Besides, Brazil played very well throughout the match. They didn't score 6-7 goals like England and Spain but when playing against a much stronger opponent they put in a good game. I think they showed that they are one of the favorites of the championship. I didn't see them as heavy favourites, but after this match I realized what a solid squad and a good game plan they have.

While it is true that Brazil had a pretty tough match in the first half i still think that this was no reason to be disappointed by them. I mean in the end they have played against Serbia which is not that bad of a team. I would even say that the times where you have that huge differences in the quality of the teams is over for at least 10 years now or so, at least in mens soccer. So for Brazil to win with 2-0 against a very good opponent is a pretty good performance in my opinion. Other big football countries like Argentina and Germany would be very happy to have scored a result like that. Brazil is definitely one of the favorites to win the WC.

Why 2 goals isn't enough? I think 2 goals is enough, not too few.
As long as they can get 3 points, it is enough. They can score more goals in the next matches, the first match is always hard to get the maximum result. Richarlison and Vinicius already showed us how good the quality of Brazil team is, they deserve to be one of the favorite teams to win this competition. With many top players in Brazil team, no doubt they can maintain their position as the leader of group G.

Yep, it is surprising to see Argentina and Germany were beaten and got no points in the first match.
However, it is still the first match, we can't conclude they are weak and may be eliminated in the group stage. I'm sure both Argentina and Germany will struggle to get points in the next match. They may feel nervous in the first match.

The second part of the match between Brazil and Serbia was entirely dominated by braZil who won with a 2-goal lead but could easily have been four or five.

because Serbia is not a weak opponent so Brazil can only score 2 goals, in contrast to England vs Iran and France vs Australia as well as Spain vs Costa Rica where they can make a party of more than 3 goals in their first match

that's something common in the football once a big country that can be considered as a strong country in the football got beaten by a small club that is not even popular in related with football. Germany and argentina may not lucky enough in both of matches. German and argentina make some mistakes which have been used by its opponent to create goal and win the match.
it can be said that if german was doing everything pretty well until japan was doing an effective counter attack to make another goal after the time would be closer to the 90 minutes.

But I believe it is still too early to make a premeditated decision.

It's not caused by you can speculate everything based on what you believe with.

I wanted Serbia to win badly but just wasnt possible we played really badly and just defended and didnt expect that. Hopefully we win both matches and pass the group. Yes, but so far this world cup has already had a number of surprises that obviously nobody expected. I wonder how many people did actually place a bet on Saudia Arabia when they played against Argentina. I am quite sure that in the whole world probably nobody placed a single penny on that outcome.

Even after the group stage we might be seeing some unexpected outcomes. Brazil seems to be strong enough that they probably will make it pretty far. They have a well balanced squad right now.

Am definite this is the best goal in the world cup so far but, could it be the best goal in the whole world cup? That's left for time to tell to tell but Richarlison was nothing short of amazing. He gave the Brazil fans what they paid for and with that, they become top in there group. Brazil dominated the whole game and had at least 2 balls on the bar. Alex Sandro with some serious shot and Casimiro with the other. Sadly for Neymar Jnr, he could find the back of the net and left the pitch with some minor injury. Somehow, the injury was coming due to Neymar Jnr's persistence of holding the ball, resulting in his been fowled regularly. Hope he gets ready before there next game.

Well statistics wise, they were not impressive for the full 90 minutes but that dedication to keep on trying to score is actually something and way better than Saudi Arabia against Argentina. Brazil showed how good they are. They've played in every single world cup in history, and have won 5 of them. What we saw in the game shows why.

Brazil is an experienced team and not a lot of drama. They focus on football itself and try their best. We have seen how many times they have entered the final and also lifted the trophy. There is no doubt about this team. And even this time, Brazil is always one of the favorites to win. However, this is only the first game. We will only know after qualifying from the group phase. However, Brazil, as usual, excellent.

Yeah, in the first half, we might be quite worried if Portugal will be similar to several big teams previously who couldn't win from the usual team. But in the second half, they are much better. However, Ronaldo was able to optimize the penalty kick for a goal. So, this increased their spirit to make more goals. However, Ghana also played amazingly that making Portugal quite difficult to beat. Congratulations to Portugal which has started their first match with a satisfying result of victory.

I could not enjoy the game of Brazil vs Serbia. But in this match, I thought that Brazil would win by 2 goals. But I could not enjoy the game after half time. But in this match, Serbia did not score any goals, Brazil won in this match.  Player Richarlison scored two goals alone to win the team.

The group is more fascinating than I had anticipated. I believe that a goalless draw between Uruguay and South Korea will strengthen Portugal's motivation to win this match, as they are more likely to win than Ghana. With the way the game has gone thus far, if no team converts chances in the second half, it will be difficult to determine who will advance from this group to the next round.

It was clear how the two of them played in the first half and both also scored in the second half even though it was Portugal who scored first through Ronaldo's penalty kick, but Ghana also managed to score two goals to minimize their defeat after Portugal managed to score three goals in the second half. An excellent result, because I consider that Serbia is the strongest opponent that Brazil has in this group.
The first half was quite "lukewarm" and without many prospects for either team, but after the first GOAL in the second half, Brazil dominated the match and just didn't score more because they weren't lucky in the finals.

What worries me, however, is the injury that Neimar suffered, will he be out of the games again as it has happened in past events!? Worrisome!

an overhead kick from Richarlison really made everyone watching gape. I agree that this will be one of the most beautiful goals in this World Cup. and of course there is likely to be another beautiful goal at this World Cup. but I'm not sure there will be anything like this one. At least Brazil has proven that they are indeed a national team that everyone should like. even from before the start of this World Cup.

and apart from Brazil we also saw Portugal who also played well and continued to dominate the game even though Ghana gave little resistance and my 3-2 score was pretty good.

Portugal beats Ghana 3-2 in their first group game of the Qater 2022 world cup. Portrayed actions evolved the game in the both halves. The G.O.A.T doing what he does best, which is scoring the opening goal for his country with additional of breaking and creating records. He's the player with the most MOTM in FIFA world cup and also the first player to score in five different world cup tournament. He's 37 years and already add more trophies to his gallery, only the World cup exceptional for him to add.

The last 30 minutes is where all the action happened. First it was Portugal who win the penalty and scored the first goal then in just a few minutes Ghana scores the equaliser. Portugal were completely dominating the match after that and they then scored 2 goals in quick succession. The last goal by Ghana happened because of bad defense by the Portuguese. Overall a good & exciting game of football.

I expected Cameroon to make the surprise to play attractive but that looks like nothing attacker to execute a ball. In 1st half, Cameroon looked promising and would make progress in 2nd half, but everything changed after they conceded in the first minutes. While Uruguay, now i just realized why Liverpool is not the same as before after I look several times Nunez failed to take the chances.

I only lost in the Uruguay vs South Korea match. and fortunately in the Portugal vs Ghana and Brazil vs Serbia matches, everything went according to predictions. but in the early matches of this World Cup I also experienced many defeats in bets like when Saudi Arabia beat Argentina. but I got a big advantage when I dared to bet for Japan against Germany. so all my losses have been replaced. i guess world cup match is much harder to predict than it looks. so it's better to miss some matches where we are not sure about the outcome. (I try to be like that but in the end I always keep betting even on matches I can't predict what the outcome will be).
