I thought today's match would result in a goalless draw, when Vinicius' goal was ruled offside.  But the entire outcome of the game went in the opposite direction when Cashomiro's goal in the 83rd minute.  After the victory in today's match Brazil confirmed the 16 and as the 2nd team after France confirmed the 16.

After watching today's game, I also thought it would be a draw between Switzerland and Brazil.Although the first goal was oxidized, Brazil won with the goal that was scored after 83 minutes.Brazil made a new history in the knockout. Earlier in the World Cup, Switzerland did not win the match.This time also started to walk on that path but Cashomiro changed all the history with one mistake.Favorite team Brazil confirmed the second round by defeating Switzerland with one match remaining.

In this match even without Neymar on the field, Brazil's dominance was really very good and I continued to be amazed by Vini's play on their wing during these 2 Brazilian matches.
1 goal was enough for them to qualify in this group phase because indeed their points are now safe so with this result they are the second team after France who will definitely qualify for the next phase in the world cup.

Portugal and Uruguay both exchanged attacks, but there were still no goals scored in the first half. It can be said that this match went quite well, both of them were able to display a pretty good performance. But it's a shame that the Portuguese defender Nuno Mendes has been taken off the field due to injury and has been replaced by Raphael Guerrero. Unfortunately Nuno Mendes had to leave early due to injury, it's a bit of an inconvenience but the replacement stock is worth it.

The first half ended goalless, but Uruguay almost managed to take the lead had Diogo Costa not managed to stop Rodrigo Bentancur's shot. Well maybe still no luck, but it's good for Portugal.

Portugal have the upper hand in this game for the quality of their players, but that doesn't mean they will beat Uruguay easily. Brazil is going tough on Switzerland tonight and winning the match with one goal, the Brazilian team is in a better position and they're constantly playing attacking football which will help them to walk away as a winner since Brazil's players have currently locked the defense to avoid possible equalization from the Switzerland team.

So far only Brazil and France have always won every game. Will these two countries go to the final? i think its not a bad idea.

Switzerland remains second in Group G despite their lost to Brazil in today's match. The team tried their best to play a goaless draw in the first half with Brazil. Brazil first goal scored by Vinicius was ruled out as an offside goal, Brazil were fully in control of the match and missing so many goal opportunities.

Finally on the 83rd minutes,Casemiro scored the winning and only goal after he got a good pass from Rodrygo with a wonderful finishing to give Brazil victory over Switzerland. Vinicius was the man of the match to me as he was superb active throughout the match. Brazil have automatically qualified to the next round for winning their two matches back-back.

Portugal is playing very impressive and Ronaldo has shown the world that he can still do better on every game he plays. I love his morale

Brazil thought Switzerland is just to go away but it was not like that. Brazil was on top of the game but Switzerland goalkeeper was something else. Brazil was in control of the match. Switzerland didn't have any shot on target and shot off target but they very strong in the defense. In the area of ball possession, Brazil was about 49 percent (%). The match 70 minutes, we are expecting more actions from the both sides as things are starting to become more tense as the minutes goes by. It looks like VAR prefers Bruno in the goal this time but whoever it is is clear this is very good because indeed they are still 1 goal ahead.
On the other hand, it's interesting to see the match after this goal because it seems that Uruguay is now more intent on making breakthroughs and their initiation is very good, at least there were some very good opportunities shown after they fell behind even though there were still no goals created for them.
On the other hand now it looks like Portugal are more often holding back than initiating and this doesn't seem very effective in my opinion.

The goal is awarded to Fernandes, not Ronaldo. Ronaldo hasn't proven himself as he is supposed to compare with other previous world cups he has performed in so far. I don't think Portugal is relying on their match win on Ronaldo again. The way Ronaldo has played thus far against Uruguay in this game is not promising. Ronaldo hasn't demonstrated himself in the way that one would expect given how well he has previously done at earlier world cups. I don't believe Portugal will once more depend on Ronaldo to win the match for them or other upcoming matches.

Ronaldo needs to relax after this world cup. His football career is suffering significantly from old age.
