It is a very good move from Besiktas. It can be argued this situation is even better than if Ridvan didn't go. Masuaku played 6 seasons in Premier League. And still not too old. He was born in 1993. When he was playing for Olympiacos around 2014 and 2015, Inter, Juventus and Roma was interested in him but he ended up going to Premier League. He missed preparation period before the season but I think it will be ok. At least due to the World Cup, he will be 100% by the middle of the season. Even if they look pretty good there but I still feel they have a lot of gaps in this. Especially with their low ball possession.

I think Kerem will contribute a lot this year, compared to last season. Seferovic's straight presses were very successful, and he contributed greatly to both goals. The pass in the second goal was very good. Seferovic's defense pulled over himself. It was a good practice match for Galatasaray. It is understandable for them to lose such an important game because it was the first competitive game, team wasn't ready yet and that is why they didn't know what to do and they played very well too, they just got unlucky which was the situation. So, what we will see is that they will get better, they are still lacking a big goal machine type of striker, which they will probably not get this year, but at the very least it was a good off-season and they will be good in the league.

Galatasaray on the other hand keep on making transfers that are so amazing and they are not even in Europe this year, meaning they will lack funds, so they better win the league or it will be a terrible wake up call for them by their accountants.
