Mertens should have entered the game earlier in the Galatasay - Giresunspor match. Okan Buruk should adapt him to the team as soon as possible. Because Mertens has the potential to be the leader of the team. He soon showed that he could do it. Actually, we didn't play a bad game. There are two games going on in the Tukse highest league and both games it is now half time and in both games the score is 0-0. Very boring. Efecan Karaca in the midfield made two assists. However their attacking power is limited with these players. So if Beşiktaş can stop these guys then they have a good chance.
Last two seasons home teams won matches. Last season Alanyaspor had Khouma Babacar in striker position. Now they have Wilson. Famara Diedhiou is also unavailable today.
It's really up to Beşiktaş offense, if they score and unlock Alanyaspor defense then we may see more exciting match. Cenk Tosun is unavailable due to red card so only striker is Weghorst today. Ghezzal and Muleka should also help in attack. Normally I would take over 2 odds for Beşiktaş win any day. It has some risks but also good reward.

What an unfortunate and a bad week for Galatasaray. It was unfortunate because they couldn't take advantage of any chance they found in this match. It was bad because their performance wasn't at a satisfying level as they couldn't even score one goal and even lost the match by 1-0. Giresunspor coach made a really assertive statement before the match started like they would manage to defeat Galatasaray away. Congrats to them as they really did what he claimed.

Beşiktaş played a good game last week, but we saw that the favorite teams had a hard time in the first matches of the league. In fact, Beşiktaş also had a hard time in the first match. They beat Kayserispor with a last minute goal. Therefore, this match will be a good match for us to evaluate Beşiktaş.

It is 100% clear that there isn't just enough time for all these players who are new to the club just end up playing perfectly with each other and expecting to know how they play together. Surely they made some mistakes and they paid it by getting zero points.

However, if by week 10 or so they are still not an amazing club after spending a good chunk of money (weirdly enough even after this many transfers they did not spend "that" much) and still suck, then it's a problem. They look like there is a potential there, but the potential is not enough, they need to make sure that they know what they are doing, otherwise they are not going to end up with a good result on the standings at all this year again.

At the half time, Besiktas game turn out to be a very interesting game. Besiktas started great. Offensively they were really good and scored 3 goals quite early but then Emrecan Uzunhan got a red card after two yellow cards. Both of them are very controversial yellow cards. In my opinion both of the cards were wrong. Then, at the half time, Besiktas substitute 3 players, Necip, Montero and Boyd. Alanya's weather right now is extremely hot. It will be a hard second half for Besiktas. If they were 11 players, that would be an easy game but now they will struggle to keep the advantage.

Besiktas are getting close to a win now as we are in the last fifteen minutes of the match. They are still 3-1 ahead now even though they got a red card in the first half. Alanyaspor have been quite dominant in the second half so far but they are struggling a lot when it comes to having many goal attempts. They have only 2 shots in this half which is not good at all for them.

While I was writing the post Alanyaspor scored and decreased the gap to one goal. But I don't know if they can make a comeback.

Beşiktaş couldn't protect three goals lead and lost two points. They should learn something from Gattuso, look at how Valencia defend with ten men. Of course Alanyaspor is a different team and their attacking mindset is better than Girona but still, it's Ismael's fault. Whole second half was about defending, they were successful for first 35 minutes though. Romain Saïss first clear the ball from goal line but a minute after he scored incredibly header to his own goal. We may say this unlucky but Gedson's rookie mistake cost Beşiktaş two points. Alanyaspor didn't have many positions and without that penalty and own goal they probably couldn't score.
Referee was one of the worst ones lately but still there is no excuse to blew a 3-0 lead. New players and coach have to learn that they will play against referees in every game. We get used to it, it's part of Turkish league for many years.

Beşiktaş paid the price for delaying the defense transfer. I've written here many times before. I don't understand why they are still late... Young defender Emrecan made a simple mistake and he was ejected from the field with a red card (37th minute of the match). Valerin İsmael made some changes in the second half in order to maintain their scoring advantage, but he could not stop Alanyaspor. Despite everything, I think Beşiktaş did not start the season badly because they can turn into a better team with the reinforcement of an experienced football player to the defense line, but they have to be quick...

I understand your point of course but we shouldn't get used to it. I really don't like blaming referees for a loss but the referee from trabzon directly affected the game and score. In real life, everyone knows the unjust and mafia-like things about turkish football. We know this is one of those things. But I also agree that Beşiktaş should have protected their lead. 3-0 lead is huge especially against a opponent like Alanyaspor.

And just couple of hours ago, Beşiktaş management made a press release about the referees and the upcoming matches. Always the same things. I don't think anything permanent will change and I don't expect it. Beşiktaş needs to make better transfers.

Valerien Ismael has responsibility, but first of all, the referee who killed the match is responsible. They drop Weghorst on his way to the goal. While the player from Alanyaspor should have received a red card, the referee says Weghorst committed the foul and gives him a yellow card. Emrecan's first yellow card is wrong. He should never have seen the red card. The referee made at least 3 decisions that had a direct impact on the end result.

Yesterday Beşiktaş drew 3-3 after leading 3-0. Obviously the red card encouraged Alanya to play more comfortably. In this way, their possession increased and they started to be more effective in front of goal. Sad for Beşiktaş.

Today there are matches between konya-başakşehir and kasımpaşa-fenerbahçe. I especially think that Fenerbahçe will win today. The fans cannot tolerate losing even one point.

Alanyaspor - Besiktas game was really interesting. Besiktas had a very unlucky day first of all. They got a really great advantage like 3-1 but the red card devastated them. It was still like Besiktas were going to keep their advantage till the end but Alanyaspor somehow scored two goals in the last ten minutes. I didn't even expect to see a score like this at the end. This isn't the best start for Besiktas I'm afraid.

Galatasaray faced against Giresunspor in the second week of the league two days ago. Galatasaray lost the match 1-0. This shows that Galatasaray are still not ready for this season at all. Also Abdülkerim's mistake was unacceptable. If you play in one of the biggest teams you can't make mistakes like that. Galatasaray are still continuing to disappoint their fans. In the end it's a bad start for Galatasaray at home.

I still see a lot of refs in the league who are just "some peoples guy" and give decisions based on that. I am not fan of BJK but there is no denying that they got butchered this game. We have seen this happen to any team that got remotely close to Trabzon, and funny enough, only team that thinks the league is clean would be Trabzon fans, nobody else.

In the end of course this will be over too, and all of this dirty situations will be cleared and we will get back to a time when the football is not purely clean because it never was, but at least not directed at just one team, and that way all will try to pull away with whatever they can equally, not for just one team.

Fenerbahce team managed a huge win against kasimpasa 6 0 it was an unexpected one considering the team had difficulties in the first game, the main reason they had an easy and a huge win is the early red card for kasimpasa team that made it a lot easier for them, now they are in the third position on the rankings.
