Already had this route too planned out, Joao Pedro or Gyokeres and Palmer been my best option to actually drop out for Halaand and I have two midfielders as my preferred options which is Cherki or Ismaila Sarr. My best bet will be having Cherki and further buying a low budget striker but going for two Manchester city players are something that I usually don’t feel comfortable with most especially if the both players aren’t his goalkeeper and Striker Haaland because of his rotation always.

Just confirmed that Eze to Arsenal all done as the player prefers Arsenal to Tottenham with £60m agreed between the club, this is very good deal for Arsenal, i expected him to be one of their earliest signings before even Madueke.

As for Alvarez , that deal will be seriously difficult for Arsenal most especially after signing Gyokeres.

The main problem with Haaland after his last season is he is very unsuitable, costing 14 millions is imposible to hold him and other top figures, in my math if you pick Haaland youa re gonna have Haaland + one more star, and nothing more than that.

So is way better to have more stars than only him.

But isn't he like among the top FPL players that have gotten the best points so far from their debut season. My only worry is if I get him now, apart from the Tottenham game, Man city still has other tough fixtures to come (they have Arsenal and United to follow).

I might risk not buying him now and put that money into getting some better attacking midfielders. But I just hope he doesn't get too expensive before I can buy him.

Still have high hopes for João Pedro and C.Palmer though, Chelsea's next fixtures looks promising.

If you have Gyokeres in your team, he could provide extra points from penalties and with Havertz out injured for an undisclosed time Gyokeres could get more game time. It could be to your benefit  

Having said that, in reality how many Arsenal fans will be sad to see Havertz out of the team?

Chelsea must have been grateful they managed to get rid of Havertz for £65 million when he was not even worth £10 million. Why Arteta brought a flop for £65 million remains a mystery but had they brought a striker with a proven goal scoring record, they might even have won the Champions League or Premier League.

Havertz has not been worth the £71 million and £65 million transfer fees and he is definitely not worth his £280,000 - £313,000 per week salary at Arsenal. This being his third season, he is now injured after just one game. Eze isn't necessarily a winger, he's more of an attacking midfielder than an actual winger, just like when you think of Cole Palmer, Eze can operate without hassle on both wings and much better playing as an AMF, what I don't have a full grasp yet of his how Arteta intends to play him, Odegaard's primary position ? on the wing ? or maybe 3-4-3 with Saka drifting more to the RMF position, but regardless, Eze does bring a huge flexibility to Arsenal's formation.

Having Mateta and Sarr also becomes a bit riskier now - they will have more of the ball - but Eze was the creative force of that team.

Gyokeres looks like a good deal now - but will be hard to incorporate him into the team. Wildcard in GW3 already?

The players Arteta prefers for the wings are players with very good pace. Eze is very skillful and creative, but not exactly that pacy midfielder that Arteta may actually prefer for his LW. Madueke would have fit that role, but his very poor defensive ability still makes Martinelli a favorite for Arteta over him. I would like if Arteta could alternate him with Odegaard, our captain; he has not been exactly creative since last season.

You’re definitely in a bad state at the moment because Alex Moreno is expected to leave to Girona on a free transfer with medical already booked for tomorrow. It is this uncertainty about his future that made most managers to even consider him, you will have to stay till next week because obviously the team must have three defenders. This is part of the reason why I don’t make use of my weekly free substitutions until towards the cut off time just that players sometimes get pricey then. Probably before next week Frimpong price might drops to 5.9 also and probably that of Konsa and Moreno too.

I think Eze will have first spot secured in Arsenal quite soon. He will not be 90 minutes man there but he will play 70+ every week. Gyokeres has perfect storm at the moment with Havertz injury and penalties. Only problem is he was nowhere to be seen in first game. It could have been longer for Frimpong; Arne Slot made the right call to take him out early as soon as he saw the signs.

Arteta needs to work on a style that favors him; the midfielders were passing more to the wings than they did to him. The only pass Odegaard was able to make to him running forward had him running more out of position to the LW to try to pick up the ball; maybe Eze's right foot and creativity will favor Gyokores more.
