I didn't think I'd be doing it but I'm considering doing a CLS63 and maybe also not play this one. I've never really been able to do much in improving how much I show up for the GWs in normal times, but I can sense already I'm going to be even more absent this season especially with some work trips coming up where I'm not even sure I'll have connectivity.

I think buwaytress have actually gotten better in the last two edition, if only he can avoid missing too many game weeks without making necessary transfers to take out injured players and captains, he's surely going to be in contention, he had a great season in the last one for some who missed a lot of GWs, and more so there is no blind Salah captaincy or Nunez ownership to ruin their game weeks over and over again

Vini to Arsenal is about 60% chance on major transfer market predictions this week, it was less than 25% last week - I guess alot has changed since the news broke out. If he stays at RM, he goes for free next season. I hate for him going to Arsenal but it's happening guys.

This make "no Halaand team" more luxury now- a  Midfield of Bruno, Vini, Palmer/Saka and  Rogers is going to out score Halaand+ cheap Mids every week. The only way to solve this is if Vini gets 14m

I could be wrong, but this move could be unprofitable/risky for both Vinnie and Arsenal. I don't know what game anyone is playing here, but I suspect the potential move (first to Al-Hilal, now to Arsenal) is simply a means for Vinnie to strengthen his position in the negotiations with Real Madrid. They write that Real has issued an ultimatum for Vinny, the situation will be resolved quickly, I hope my bet works.

It is a public service that I've been dutifully undertaking every season and it is my wish to continue to do so... but I fear that my donations are becoming almost so normalised now I'm being taken for granted. Perhaps I have to remind people how it feels like without my head to step on.

Am I really doing so well though? I feel like 5 points below someone is great, but 20+ points in FPL is a world of difference, and that's how I'm judging myself here.

I definitely improved a lot without blindly putting in Nunez and other hopeless Reds, you really can't play FPL like fantasy, you have to play like a robot.

The missed weeks some were accidental, some not, but always a product of really having such a busy schedule, one I fear does not improve next season, hence my possible withdrawal. Don't get me wrong, I like the competition, just can't really do it justice. The Challenge one is even worse haha and there is I think where you lose the most on prizes just by forgetting. It's baffling why the sign in is separate!

The reason why the chances are said to be higher this week is because of image rights which Real Madrid holds 50% of it now and Vini wants his shares increased. Personally if that news is actually true then the contract renewal is definitely going to be a hard one because image right is one area you hardly get Florentino Perez to actually compromise. I do agree with you that Vini camp will actually be using Arsenal for bait to get to Perez but let’s not pretend that this could not happen.

Real Madrid are usually not fond of selling off their best players but I am looking at this Vini contract saga and I am comparing it to that of Ronaldo then, everyone thought it was the usual transfer saga until we saw the official announcement of Ronaldo signing for Juventus. This Vinicius to Arsenal has higher chances of that happening than Ronaldo’s chance then.

Should Madrid spend close to $200 million for the signing of Rodri and Diamonde, and Vini refuses to sign new contract then the possibility will be higher because Real Madrid will want to get some money off him.

They were missing Saka throughout a lot of the season - he's their flagship player, and rightfully so. I'd buy a player that would compliment his play on the left wing, not a player that would want all the glory while being a terrible teammate in general.

Ahh!! I don’t think this should be even up for debate, If there is any major signing that Arsenal should be signing it should be Vinicius. A club like Arsenal which is looking to win the champions league should be going for players like Vinicius. In the last champions league final we all know arsenal lack that one player that could take a team like PSG on and caused them troubles, in games like that a Vinicius is all you need. I think we will be actually asking this question if the position that Vinicius plays is actually the right wing but the left wing where Arsenal only options are Martinelli and new signing Tzoli? I said confidently that yes they need him.

It’s great to me because we can have many options for high profile players like in the past not the obvious Bruno and Halaand only options we are left with. This season’s FPL will just be many identical teams.

As for Arteta having options, this Vinicius signing wouldn’t change that, we saw Martinelli comfortably with been just a squad player last season and I think he would still be but regardless of anything Vinicius works straight into the team.

Rice + Bruno + Odegaard looks more likely in major games because it was clear Arteta wasn’t comfortable with Zubimendi towards the end of last season due to his error leading to goals, or in occasions were Missed Odegaard doesn’t steps up we could see options like Zubimendi + Rice + Bruno, Bruno played the AM at World Cup for Brazil and did well to me. Another big headache in the midfield will be a Fit Mikel Merino

I think the game needs a few more premiums at this point in time. That's why I'd like 1-2 superstars arriving before the end of the transfer window.

As a rival fan I will be more than happy that Arsenal are getting Barcola instead of Vinicius. You said something about financial gamble I think that Barcola kind of costs as much as Vinicius now based on PSG valuation of the player, only difference is the wages which I think Barcola will be fine with half of the £500k that Vinicius is asking off.

Come to think about this financial gamble, I think as a team aim for the top then you can afford not to take this kind of gamble. They won the league with a star, but the most toughest thing to do is to retain that title, Manchester City did it by going after world class players. Although team togetherness should be a strong emphasis.

Well, I'd say he is looking at the caliber of players we have in this generation; not many talented players compared to what we had 15-20 years ago.

Saka, Foden, Palmer, Yamal and the rest of the players in their "hype" group are good players to my own taste but not a "World class" as per my standard. World class are Mbappe, Bruno and Vini ( this category)
