Joao Pedro was not involved for his national team in this international break, he pulled out from the team through injury, which he sustained while playing for Chelsea. Pedro is also a Brazilian and Brazil do not participate in the Nations League, it is just for European nations.

I thought he got that off their friendlies, didn’t realize he withdrew from them, wasn’t paying no attention to them anyway but, reports has it that he sustained the injury after Chelsea’s 2:2 draw against Hull City. “Slight discomfort and swelling on the knees”. I take it Joao knew exactly what he was/is doing and rightly so, to not present as though he refused the call, as South American fans can be a little crazy.

Better for him still else, it would have being indeed horrible if he had sustained that off a friendly with Australia or even in training.

The biggest beneficiaries from Gakpo's absence should be Barcola and Wirtz for starters, Wirtz playing on the flank could surely see Szoboszlai take up a more advance but I won't count on it, since somehow anything Wirtz touches turns to sh*t. None of Liverpool's next four fixtures is particularly appealing, so, I won't even be looking at any of their players.

I also expected this should be the right call in fact when Mac Allister returned from the World Cup holidays I was so confident that Andon Iraola will be deploy the Argentine as a central midfield partner to Gravenberch and then this frees up Szoboszlai up giving the free role position but I have seen Iraola played so many patterns or formations but one thing that I have seen clear is that Szoboszlai will not be used in that advance position by him.

Rather he will decide to play either or Gravenberch or Mac Allister as patterns to Szoboszlai and then play Wirtz in the free role position. So now I don’t know how long he would be able to keep up making up excuses for Wirtz before changing this formation but it’s definitely not looking like Szoboszlai will be playing way high up than he is doing now under Iraola

Seriously the FPL is not fun that much with this identical teams like in the past where teams have lots of different players in their respective team, not now that in a certain game week almost every manager is using same chip in same game week.

One thing is finding differentials, having lots of them will come go if they do well but once they blank you see yourself almost at the bottom of the table and that’s one reason why most stick to the most popular teams with just one or two differentials.

I think the likes of Pascal Gross, Shade and even De Cuyper have been the early before they boom. People that got them most especially Bogle and Shade are better off now.

The inflated prices nonsense didn't work a thing, we all still ended up with similar DEF, MID and ATT assets. They have to look for a better way to solve that..

O'Reilly have pulled out from England squad, and Paul Van Hecke have also returned to Tottenham with an injury as well, no new major concern for anyone on my team yet so that's good news which means I might get to keep all my free transfers for another round, but at this rate with one match left in the break, I'm curious to see how many of these players would play in the last round (4th game, coming midweek), with the likes of Haaland and Van Dijk haven featured in all of Norway and Netherlands games..

Yeah, and that game promises to be electric, i think it could even be the most watched EPL game in the whole of this season. The media, rival fans and pundits are all calling for blood, but City continue to protest their innocence. I am really curious to see if the players can put all of this noise behind them and perform at an optimal level, hard to believe they can do that. I'd keep a hold of my City assets and assess my options a few games after this break.

It is hard to believe that Manchester City will appeal the decision after they have been caught with comprehensive evidence against them. It seems they are using their financial resources to prolong the inevitable and that has alienated football fans even more and that is why Manchester City will feel they are facing Liverpool plus the world at Anfield. They will feel a new type of pressure for the first time.

Another update to this story is that a group of Premier League players are also preparing to sue Manchester City because had their teams met various conditions (such as finishing in a Champions League spot, Europa League spot, winning the FA or Carabao Cup) they would have earned massive bonuses.

No matter what Manchester City do to drag this out, eventually they will face multiple lawsuits and I doubt they will win them all. This will cost Manchester City millions in compensation claims.

Manchester City might have beaten your Liverpool team twice last season therefore you want to win but this time virtually the whole country is behind Liverpool as they want to see Manchester City lose.

This game will define what the Manchester City players will put forward for the rest of the season. If they put up a fight at Anfield, they might send a signal to the Premier League about their resilience. Or maybe the weight of the Anfield crowd and the pressure of the cheating scandal will be too much for Manchester City and they will suffer a heavy loss.

Think about it for a moment. If the difference between teams finishing 4th or 5th in the Premier League was a 10% bonus on their salary plus various financial incentives but they missed out because of Manchester City, why would they not have a case? If a player earning £10 million a year could have earned an extra £1 million for finishing one place higher in the table but lost out because Manchester City finished above them, then they might have a legal case.

The same applies to the clubs that were affected by Manchester City cheating. Lawyers will be lining up to represent clubs and players that want to sue Manchester City.

If the independent commission does not make an example of Manchester City by taking extremely strong action, fans from all over the world will feel as though the punishment was not enough. If appropriate action is not taken it will send a signal to other clubs that they can also cheat in order to win and then not even worry about the consequences as the sanctions will be insignificant.

This is gonna be a super hard return for most of the players and for most of us, since how we are gonna know what are the caoch do with the players who return from playing with their national teams, we are gonna have to follow carefully all the news around them, because despite the ones who can be already injured a lot of other players can be put in rest just as a caution, and we need also to check if some players were saved in the last game of the international break or not, because the ones who didnt play the last game for their national teams have much more chance of being a starter when they comeback to their teams.... fuck and im not even talking on the level they are gonna have and how the teams are gonna behave, prepare for suprises, that is for sure.

I doubt the sanction will just be limited to financial sanction alone because of how the FA has handled past cases. For me example they Manchester city have been found guilty of breaking the PSR laws and it was the same case with both Everton and Nottingham Forest with both teams ducked points, and the points were averaging 6 points depending on how the clubs corporated with investigations.

Now if Manchester City who have same Rules actually gets way with just point deduction, that will just create an unnecessary drama for the FA which would be bad for their image, so I am very confident of points deduction as part of the sanctions.

But for stripping them of the tittle, I confident that wouldn’t be part of it because the only time it has happened in the Europe big five leagues was in seria with Juventus and it isn’t same law breaking with Manchester City. Juventus were guilty of match fixing in a year they won the league and that was why they stripped them of that tittle plus relegation. So I don’t expect that happening to Manchester City since there is no match fixing included in their charges

The Premier League broadcasting rights is sold collectively ( 4 years deals) and not individually by clubs so whether City goes down or not it would not affect the League's broadcasting deals in anyway. If anything, City would lose more and the Championship revenue won't be enough to sustain them for too long.

The Premier League could lose some commercial values but City weren't producing anything significant hence all the sponsorship deals manipulations. Outside England, they have no fans.

I will not be surprised if City comes out from this stronger. Football of today is more of business and politics than entertainment. Manchester city is among the big players and I am not sure FA will give them out that way.

But looking back at what happened to once giant of Italy - Juventus, anything is very possible and the unimaginable could also happen to them.
