There are definitely some nice games to drop the full 10 points. Finally another round of Champions League and good luck everyone!

I'm not a friend of putting all my eggs in the same basket but of course it can turn out to be profitable. I'm still trying my current strategy to get around 12-15 points each round by submitting relatively "safe" bets, like this round on Bayern, Man City or RB Leipzig. They are strong or at least decent teams and have a relatively easy opponent.

Possibly, betting in favor of Napoli away against Union Berlin might be an opportunity as well as Union has been horrible the last few weeks. Odds are decent @2.00 but Union can be strong at home (at least last season)...

I don't like putting all of my eggs in one basket, but this form of competition necessitates leapfrogging several toes to a specific position before placing the safe bets to sustain momentum. I'm currently deep on the table, and if I can successfully hit my one high risk play, I may be in the top 10 from where I am now.

I already have two teams in mind and will hit the bomb anytime soon after pre-match conference.

opener between Galatasaray and Bayern can be interesting, Bavarians playing their best football in Group stage, and Galata in top form, winning on Old Trafford, is there a chance for another surprise

Lens vs PSV is also a drama, in a group with Sevilla, PSV has great chance to pass through and this one is really important for them to have their chances running high

I agree, its not worth it at all to play safe and bet conservatively

you can only do that when u are near the  top and just need to hold  your position,

I am pretty down as  well so im looking  at hitting some underdog or a draw bet  today at good odds, thats the only way to get towards the  top

I agree as that is the last resort for people to have some hopes of coming back to prize spots but keep in mind that it is better to be consistent during all the rounds no matter that the odds are a bit low when you bet on favorites yet favorites seem to come true most of the time in Champions League so overall in the long run it may be a better strategy to place all your eggs in one basked as long as that basket is "super resistant" and holds your eggs well until the final destination.

If not patient enough go for the underdogs but keep in mind 2-3 consecutive lost bets and it will be extremely difficult to make up for such lost amounts.

I think we're going to see some good matches with lots of goals and if I'm not mistaken I've made my predictions accordingly. The first match I'm curious about today is of course Galatasaray's match. With Icardi not playing in this match due to injury, Galatasaray will have a bit of trouble in front of goal. Bayern Munich, on the other hand, will definitely want to get three points in this away game and will have to make it three out of three in the group and keep their lead. Manchester United, on the other hand, I think will get their first win in the group against Copenhagen and they will have to win this game with a clear eye if they want to continue in the Champions League.

Submited Form 2 picks. I'm not good at all at this thing, so, I don't have big expcations from this round, but it would be good to go up a bit.
Madequite big bet on Bayern, odds isn't very high, but have no doubts about their win. Galatasaray looks good, but Bayern simply is different level. Another pick is Arsenal ML. Sevilla doesn't looks great despite change of manager and they don't nedd win that much if they want to go to Europa league. Very attractive odds for Benfica, yeah, Sociedad is solid team, but Benfica is almost flawless so far, especially at home. Lens - PSV and Union - Napoli looks so difficult to predict, so, I go with BTTS here.
And does anyone expect another failure from MU? Personally, I don't think that Copenagen is capable to make it.

Happy to say we "only" had two participants miss the deadline: M1cha3lM and icopress. So that's most of us over the line and half the ones who missed Matchday 2

I mentioned maybe 18 point average (for 180 total points sounds decent Top 10 but too early to tell). Worth mentioning plenty of 10-point stakes on decent favourites suggest many agree here.

@swogerino Don't worry about those missing "Stake button" entries. I always count them. They are there only to make my life easier (with the form) but I don't mind manual count for a few missed picks.

Being consistent is good, but it definitely won't lead to the top - since the number of participants is large, someone will be lucky enough to guess several unlikely results with big odds. Personally, I'll only bet on unlikely outcomes from now on - I forgot to use my 10 points last round and now feel like I'm way behind, so I need to bet heavily.

I think it is much more about risk appetite in the odds-based pool than the one on superbru.com. I have different picks for the superbru pool and for the odds-based pool because, now in my case, picking Galatasaray as the winner against Bayern Munich is fun when it actually pays you 6x in return for the points you bid. Whereas in the superbru pool it makes much more sense to play a conservative style and not waste points where it doesn't really make sense. Risk-taking doesn't pay off as much obviously.

If slaman29 were to play risky in the superbru pool, he will lose in the end. But if he does it in the odds-based pool, two lucky hits could be enough to win the entire group stage.

Galatasaray showed a really amazing performance against Bayern Munich. However they were very clumsy when it comes to finishing. I was going to get 60 points if they won. However I think that my chance has decreased quite much from now on as I finished gw3 by 0 points as well. I haven't been doing bad at all on Superbru so far. I hope that I can win a prize by finishing it in top 10.

Arsenal have clearly shaken off the bad performance from our EPL game against Chelsea, we have looked dangerous from start of the game, all through the first half. Fantastic goal from Martinelli, great turn from Jesus to provide the assist. It would have been two goals from the first half, but the mistake Martinelli made with the first attempt, he made sure not to make it a second time.

The second half starts and Arsenal score again, this time it is Jesus, but Sevilla responds a few minutes later to still give Sevilla hopes of winning this or getting a point. We need to make sure we do not loose the advantage we have, and then try to score another goal.

And does anyone expect another failure from MU? Personally, I don't think that Copenagen is capable to make it.

MU have not been able to score. If Copenhagen take the lead, Manchester United will have a problem.

Damn, not the best of days for me. Went heavily on Lens, missed the Inter draw as well. Had 4 points on Napoli, but that's the only thing where I collected some points.

I used all of my chips today - I felt the odds were much more attractive. I hope I don't distance myself a lot from the top positions with 1 mediocre performance.
I wanted to go with Sociedad as well but I dismissed it as the riskiest pair. Go figure

I really thought Inter would fail to win because their wins have never been convincing and actually went for the away win for my pool B competition but unfortunately Salzburg came short to settle for a draw. Otherwise tough luck with the handicap bet

There was so little action in 1st half of today's games that we saw just 2 goals in 6 games. In 2nd half situation improved a bit, but in general it was quite low scoring matchday.
Union suffered already 9th lose in a row in all competitions. Again, they didn't played bad, but something wasn't enough to get positive result. Didn't expected to see Real Sociedad win,but from what I saw on 2nd screen, they deserved. they were close to score 2nd goal when they hit crossbar.

Turkish teams can get unexpected results with the support of their fans when they play home. Galatasaray had an impressive win against Real Madrid in the past years. When we look at the statistics this evening as well I think that Galatasaray were the side that deserved the win. As I said earlier as well they were quite problematic in terms of finishing.

This kind of spectacular moment is very good for these two players who have been blamed for many mistakes and considered the weakest links in the Manchester United team. Their next game in the premier league will be a very strong game against Manchester City, If this truly means the beginning of a new chapter for Maguire and Onana, the Manchester United supporters should start celebrating already.
