That will depend on the bosses, but I believe they have to give him time to rebuild. Right now, Liverpool is in shambles and sacking him won't help that much

Real has given Liverpool a proper football lesson in second half. Did not catch first 30 minutes so basically I have only seen Real play.

Real is real boogeyman for Liverpool, just look at history of their previous matches, but this was spectacle to watch.

It only gets tougher with time, and as the competition and moving up places and dropping places becomes harder you know after each knockout, at this stage you just can't be sure of anything, Napoli was quite an easy pick for almost anyone right, but given Club Brugge record at the group stages, I expected to score at least a goal, that's why I went with 2-1 pick for Napoli. I went with a draw for the game at Anfield, little did I know both teams have their own different choice of drama to display.

Liverpool could be probably win the game in Spain, and I'll be backing them to win if the Odds are 3-4 Odds issh, but their chances of qualification is the only possibility I'm ruling out already without mincing words.

Uff, didn't remember Liverpool losing a 2:0 like that. I was already celebrating a bit when they took a 2-0 lead in the first half (since I picked 2:1 LFC). How on earth can they let in five goals, lol.

Liverpool, who initially won from 2-0 through the strikes of Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez, could not stem the dominance of Real Madrid.
This result makes Madrid comfortable when diving the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

I completely forgot to put my picks yesterday which is not a thing that defines me,in all other pools I like putting predictions before the games start 1-2 days ahead but yesterday I had a lot of work and completely forgot.Not that would have changed anything even if I putted the picks as most probably I would have gone for a Liverpool win which was a devastating result for me seeing that 2-5 in Flashscore.

As I said this season is already over for us after yesterday game,we need to start thinking like you suggest to make huge improvements to the team because it has been a couple of years that we are in such volatile situations where we have one great season fighting for the title and then the next one we are in one of our worse seasons,this can be corrected only by improving the team with new players.Teams who do not invest tend to fail over time just like we are seeing Liverpool nowadays,it is not that they have not invested,they simply have not made the right ones and I think Mane leaving was a big mistake for the team management.

In tonight games though we have some easy games on paper as both Inter and City should win their game but will they actually win it?

Only Chelsea has a good home record against Real Madrid; I'm not sure Liverpool can cause an upset in Spain; if they can't do it at home with a 2:0 lead, things will only get worse for them in Spain. Gomez, Trent, and Virgil were all terrible all night, but an 18-year-old Bajcetic is getting all of the blame- this is another reason Mane left, he was doing all of the dirty work while Salah was taking all of the credit from the Liverpool fans.

I believe Inter will win their game, but City may struggle against a strong Leipzig team, so it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

They need to win this game to let all the pressure mount on Real Madrid for the return leg and this win tonight would also serve well to keep the momentum they already have and to give an even further boost to the moral of the players.

The bookies though think differently,they clearly have Real as the favorite in the game of tonight with an 2 odd,I think maybe they are correct in the logic for the odds but for me as a fan of Liverpool I think this game will end with a Liverpool narrow win and as such for me the bookies are wrong  .

And now the bookies swing the other way round, Liverpool 3.4 to win, great odds? Calamity keepers on both sides, but also a bit of bad luck for goals, and needless fouls from Gomez, it's a terrible humiliation for the Reds unfortunately.

I only care about Napoli though

Napoli has only lost three games in their last 20 appearances in Europe's top competition, and they hope to reach the quarterfinals for the first time. Despite being in good form and considered a favorite, Napoli has only won once in their previous nine matches in Germany, drawing three times and losing five. As a result, if Napoli wins this game, it will be a historic moment for the team, as they have previously struggled to win in Germany. so I expect a comfortable win for the Italians, with plenty of goals.

I was hoping that their performance in Champions League thus far will carry them on and this has proven to be the case. I don't want to talk about hype but just judging on their scores this season in Europe, they are the best team there, capable of beating Real Madrid, Bayern, even Manchester City. Just because of the way they play, great speedy counters, fine finishing and still quite a good defence.

Everything is over for Liverpool, this is already clear, and if we evaluate the results of Liverpool objectively this season, then Klopp has long deserved to be replaced. He is a brilliant manager, but for some reason the results are very bad and he obviously cannot fix anything. Perhaps the match in Madrid will be his last chance, hoping for some kind of miracle.

I believe Inter will win their game, but City may struggle against a strong Leipzig team, so it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

It was difficult to decide in the Inter - Porto match, but I give my preference to Inter, although I admit that a draw is possible, I see that Porto last lost in October 2022, the unbeaten run is too long, today is a suitable match to interrupt this streak.

Do you really think so? RB Leipzig's last matches were rather mixed (see screenshot below) and I think Manchester City will have no big problems to win the match tonight.

I mean in February they scored one win, one draw and lost one match. They are in a "ok" form, I guess but City shouldn't have much trouble if you ask me. But my picks haven't been on point in the last few weeks either, so it could go entirely the other way, haha. In any case, I expect two high-scoring games tonight and hope that we get a similar spectacle as yesterday's Liverpool vs Real Madrid.

There is only one piece of good news I can share with Liverpool's thrashing yesterday, and that is that odds for them to qualify are roughly 22/1 (over 24/1 as I used a price boost). It worked out for me a few seasons ago, I understand I've just thrown away a few mbtcs, but well, you never know.

As I understand it, the Liverpool squad no longer corresponds (by age) to the style that Klopp adheres to (since there is simply no strength to play at a high pace during the entire match) and he needs to either rejuvenate the squad or change his style. The first depends on the owners of the club - investments are needed, but it is not clear about the second - can Klopp himself come up with something else? Both Dortmund and Liverpool under his leadership played the same high-energy football.

Two games tonight and I know which one I am watching. I am expecting quite tactical boring game between Inter & Porto while it should be total football in Leipzig vs. City. Don't think we will get another game like yesterday but both to score in this one should be good play again. Guardiola always with some surprises, this time De Bruyne finished on the bench. Granted he isn't in some great form but I still think he is their best creative force.
