As we are short on games, you'll find that each match has 4 sets of picks to make; so in effect, the same amount of selections as the playoff and Last 16, ensuring there's no shortage of picks for the discerning degenerate.

It will probably have to be slightly fewer selections for the semifinals, but this will build up at least 8 sets for the final (sorry to those who dislike goalscorer, sending off, penalty picks) but we'll do our best to give you plenty of options even on the final.

One thing tho @buwaytress I just wanted to ask how do I find my freebet? I looked everywhere in my profile and in history.

Then I also looked into Sports section,,, tried to place a bet on various odds various sports but no freebet appears.

I never got a freebet here so I did not know where to look sorry for trouble I know I should have asked earlier when you said sent but I forgot all about it until now

More risk means more points but I also have to avoid getting penalties that ruined my chances in two rounds.
It is good we have more options for predictions this round, but I am not sure what to pick and I dont remember I ever won something on corners.

The times that a miracle could have changed anything for me are long over 

I am very curious to see how the final standings will be because I think someone with two penalties is already fighting such a strongly eroding effect to their total points. It is still doable for @Hhampuz and @leea-1334 to catch up with 1st, but tough to do. Because if they don't take the riskier options in the outcome predictions part, it's almost impossible to catch up, but if they do and have a round with zero points, it is game over because another 5% of their total will be deducted.

It is kind of similar to the LMS format because my guess is that most of the guys qualifying for a prize will have zero penalties. It is escalates in an interesting way as penalties not only take 5% of you, but also add to the overall risk factor as you have to risk more penalties to even stay alive.

I'm doing the same thing. I guess that is the only way for us to have a chance of finishing at least in the top ten (I have no idea how the prizes are allocated or how many top places will be paid)..
7+ goals with 13 odds is kinda unrealistic but if that happens we surely move up in the leaderboard.. Also maybe if we manage to place those 6 stakes in the correct spots with at least 7 odds, that alone would give us 42 points.

Yes, I also do like the varieties of options for this one, it's just that I couldn't find any 30x odds to use my stake on, it's still remains a go hard or go home mode for me, there is going to be no catch, unless I can't hit a 20x+ a couple of times.

Although, I'm still showing up every round with the hope of nabbing just one yellow cap.

This is I believe to prevent misunderstanding from a red card as a result of 2 yellows.

So if a guy get's a second yellow, then its just 2 points: yellow + yellow and not 3 points.

Straight red means sending off rightaway (red card, not 2nd yellow card).

So theoretically, if someone gets 1 yellow and straight red = 3 points.

Filled in my picks, don't have much confidence in hitting exact scores but I like our options for stakes a lot. Much better when we have plenty of options so we can choose our poison.

Minimum goal for this week is avoiding the penalty once again. Seems like that is my best bet to rise trough the ranks.

It seems better to choose Real Madrid and Barcelona.

To be perfectly honest here,,, I was playing the early rounds without thinking and somehow after I got the first penalty I played a bit more securely but it did not prevent me from getting a 2nd one. I am sure @Hhampuz had the same idea.

I continued to play even more securely and still risked small stakes on big bets, and somehow continued to win. I think this was the right play every round. Half stakes on 'safe' and half on risky. Instead I played early all on risky 

BTW it is not SO terrible to get 1 penalty. If you get 200 points it is only 10 points. Not end of the world but for sure incredibly hard.

To be honest, I haven’t being giving the penalties any thought at all, being behind the top 10 suddenly doesn’t make me to shy away from any risk. Good thing there are several questions in this round per game to decide where the best option on the risk lies to back with a point or two.

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid has clearly being a home favored game although, with Atletico having to lose their last game to Barcelona where Barcelona only won with roughly 3 minutes of regular time on the clock, it doesn’t say well about their form against Atletico Madrid that played with just 10 men.

I don’t see how PSG isn’t beating Liverpool but, I’ll be open to any surprises.

Slam's explanation is correct. Booking point markets is just like goal or corner markets. Under/over a half point to ensure a winner. Yellow card is 1 booking point, and only a straight red card is 2 booking points. A red as a result of a second yellow doesn't count.

It's a bit more manageable like this with only 4 matches... a nightmare to manage with 16 or even 8 matches haha.

One will count on people without penalties to continue to take safe picks, and erode their cushion. I'm a good example, 3 of my last 4 rounds have been very small points totals.

The other problem is the current leader doesn't seem to like taking safe picks and finds a way to hit high scores even when he needs to avoid penalties. Luck? Or genius?

I'm already working on what to feature for the final. Counting on bookies (and Rollbit of course) to not disappoint with the options so I don't have to guess the odds.

In past rounds, when bookies didn't have the same markets for all fixtures, or didn't have some, I actually had to use formulas to infer odds from existing markets

e.g. when putting an option of player A or Player B to score anytime, inferring from individual goalscorer odds of Players A and B

What's happened to the odds? Is this revaluation due to Kane not playing, or are there other factors at play? It seems the crowd's faith in Bayern has waned.
It's nice that there are so many options to choose from in this round and that my saved stake didn't go to waste, but to be honest I didn't find an option to spend it, so I put it off until the next round. I think the best bet to risk is Sporting vs. Arsenal with no goals, but since the limit is three stakes...

This is much better when we have multiple options to choose for special bets, and I think we should adapt this for entire season.
Only downside could be additional work for buwa to make and collect everything correctly.

Just asking, does it update in real time for you when I submit my picks or did you just have a look a while ago? Because I submitted like 10-15 minutes or so ago and it should actually be there. Not that it makes any difference for me in the end, but there is still a freebet to play for and I think this time I found the magical picks!

Damn can't wait for the game, usually that's what we are all waiting for the whole season, hm? Real Madrid - Bayern, could be fireworks, let's see.
