I really want to believe Liverpool will do well in this first leg, but it's hard to bet on them, even if it's just one stake, as they often disappoint.
It seems better to choose Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Hopefully, I won't get a penalty this time and there's still chance for a top-10 finish.

The Liverpool project under Slot is finished, we have lots of good players but we are finished until Slot goes. The players have given up, VVD basically admitted it after the 4-0 loss to Man City.

Real and Barca both have difficult games, I wouldn’t be surprised if neither team won their 1st legs.

Real at home - for me the odds on Bayern were way too high to begin with.
Bayern is dominating the Bundesliga but it is a league in which offensive style of play is often rewarded way more than in competitions like CL.

I don't know a single team I'd consider as favorites to win a football game at the Bernabeu. Even less so in the CL.

Nah If I had to pick a remaining teams in UCL that could stand a chance against Real Madrid in Bernabeu then Bayern is the only logical team to pick. I doubt Arsenal would even survive there tbh. Bayern may play in a less competitive league unlike Real Madrid but they really dominate the whole league on another level this season


Real Madrid need to score 1 goal and Arsenal need to keep clean sheet as well as 2 goals for me to get perfect point for tuesday... its so close yet its not happening

Did anyone else of you guys here go with no goals in Sporting - Arsenal? It's really a pity because I put 3 stakes on odds of 11.00. That would have paid off very well and would have given me a chance to win the freebet, but my luck is down the toilet for quite some time now. In BSFL I recently lost a round because my opponent needed West Ham to score two goals against Leeds. West Ham scored two goals, in minute 93' and minute 97' Going well for me with these last minute goals.

Yes, I noticed, but when I saw these price movements, I tried to figure out the reason and only found news that Kane might miss the game.

Overall, the result was good, I thought it would be 0-3 or something like that at some point   But I still had the nerve to buy bets on Real Madrid to win with odds of 30+ and higher. I ended up losing $41. Thank goodness I did the same with Arsenal, and they scored in the end, which resulted in a +35 win, which is acceptable overall. By the way, if the score had remained 0-0, my bet in the pool would have won. I expected a game like this, Asrenal is dull.

Yeah... I'm the same way because I'm too far away to catch up with the top 10 in this pool so I'm always chasing high odds so that I can hope for an increase in the points bet, but it's all not as expected.

I mean, I did give them a win no doubt but, that was largely probable because, I know the quality of Bayern Munich, I could only hope and certainly not enough to go 3 points on it. I give it to you though, you’ve got the guts of someone that hasn’t got nothing to loose and just wants to go all in.

Arsenal however weee really close to giving me a draw but, they managed to get a goal at the end and ruined it for me. Sporting couldn’t get a goal. I hope they don’t view Arsenal in the same way as Bodo.

I do not know if Sporting deserved at least a point but from the statistics, I felt like this was not a deserved win for Arsenal,,, now it looks like they will for sure progress.

We have 2 very beautiful games tonight in Champions League with Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid being the better to watch compared to PSG vs Liverpool for the simple reason that Liverpool is not the team that used to be and as such most likely they will lose tonight against PSG who is still in top form. In the game between two Spanish sides everything will be open and as far as goals go here I predict an easy over 2.5 goals in both matches tonight.

If it weren't Liverpool, I'd be watching the all-Spanish tie. Saw the previous one just a few days ago and it was really fun. Hoping for more of the same. I looked at the totals, hmm, for some reason Total 3.5 Over/Under is quoted as 50%. I can't say what the basis for such figures is, perhaps only that the bookmakers have inside information about Simeone bribing Camp Nou workers to flood the pitch? 
Although Barcelona's leaky defense and Atlético's deteriorating performance justify this may be, but I'll abstain. What attracts me is the Atlético Double Chance bet at 2.78.

That's my only strategy for some time now. Collect my low points and hope that penalties drag down couple of people in front of me Must say it worked quite well last time around but doesn't look that promising in this round.

That's fine, you're not shy about saying that, in fact we're ready to get smashed tonight, and we're betting on the opposition not the favorites.
Mohamed Salah isn't in the lineup as it's the effect of his poor performance in the FA Cup I think he's out of his depth so don't get your hopes up on this one guy.

Finally a good round which will hopefully keep me in the top 5. Unders hit eventually, although there was a lot of luck involved this time around.
One terrible round will kill me - and to make it even worse I had an additional stake saved for that one.

All in all, these results don't call for interesting return legs. Can't stomach this Liverpool team anymore.
