Is the victory over AC Milan a sign that Chelsea are back to their best?

I hope so but it's too early to say that if chelsea has been going back to the its best performance. It's caused by we didn't know what's gonna be the performance from chelsea for the EPL match. I meant this team is very inconsistent at this moment with its performance. Sometime this club can show very good performance but for the upcoming match chelsea will be so hard even to make a goal against the low tier team. That makes people are feeling doubt if chelsea has been going back to the best performance after beating milan in the champion league. Whenever a coach makes decisions without pressure, the outcome is always positive.

in this case I also want to praise the scheme that Potter did in his first few games at Chelsea. 3 matches he went with 1 draw and 2 wins of course this is a good record even when he is still confused about the suitable formation because of the three matches he played he always changed Chelsea formation.

He isn't confused but showing a good sign of a good coach. He had limited time to bond with the players as such he's trying new things just to get the best players he'll use as his strating level. So far it seems he's looking to keep kepa at the goal post and some name has been on repeat in his selection which goes to show he has developed trust in them. There's something different about the Chelsea squad now than previous under the former manager, now the boys want to play football and score goals and they attempts keep coming in unlike before.

Players aren't been played out of position unlike when Tuchel was playing James at defense instead of giving him the freedom as a wingback. Havertz was been played as a striker when we have the like of broja on the bench. Potter is showing some positivity on the team and if this continues, just maybe we might get another shot at the champions league trophy this year.

Chelsea played well and won. But Chelsea's performance is still unstable. Moreover, AC Milan's performance in this match was not good. They played completely defensively but conceded 3 goals due to mistakes by the defenders. Chelsea, on the other hand, didn't seem to attack too much. But every attack by the Chelsea players was brilliant and organized. Chelsea only made 10 shots in this match. 6 of them were on target. I would say Chelsea's match strategy was quite good in this match. But they need more time to perform stably and consistently well.

But in fact, the Champions League is an event that is certainly far different from the English League, excellence and motivation come to any safe club to show its existence, including Chelsea class if several matches in the Champions League are only won once. The Premier League for Chelsea is also currently not bad if they will return to their excellent form. They are in 5th place in the standings and I think that is enough capital to follow 4 or 3 positions rather than being far in the top 8. Graham Potter's career is just getting started and we don't know if this bodes well for Chelsea to earn points continuously to qualify for the group stage.

Group E is getting more and more interesting to follow its development. The problem is that after AC Milan lost 3-0 to Chelsea, the competition to qualify was even tighter.
The four teams in Group E are only 1 point apart from the 3 matches they have played. Salzburg is the team that is ranked 1st with 5 points. While Chelsea and AC Milan who are in second and third position have 4 points. Dinamo Zagreb collected 3 points in fourth place.

The results of Group E are definitely pretty surprising for me so far i have to say. When the draw for the group stage happened a few weeks back i was pretty sure that the final table of group E would be 1. Chelsea 2. AC Milan 3. Salzburg 4. Zagreb but now it looks completely different. Salzburg is on top of the table and it is very well possible that one of the big favorites of this group or maybe even both of them will not reach the knockout stage of the Champions League.
That being said both Chelsea and Milan still have it in their own hands if they will go through or not and if i would have to bet now i would still go with those two teams as my picks to reach the knockout stage.

The change in manager was good for Chelsea, but who knows how things would have been if Tuchel had remained in the team. Aubameyang is the player who can quickly join a new team, it is strange that Barcelona let him go, because for some time he was very productive in attack, but apparently there was no place for him in Xavi's scheme. So far, Potter's start work in the team can be considered very successful, and he may indeed be able to achieve even greater results with Chelsea, since even more resources will be available to him here.

chelsea led 1-0 in the first half in the 24th minute by fofana who was able to exploit a corner kick bait very well. AC Milan was able to dominate possession but unfortunately they failed to build an aggressive attack. chelsea could easily take advantage of some pretty good counter-attacks in this first half. Giroud and Rafael Leao seemed to have lost their sharpness in the first half, it looks like they haven't been able to build an aggressive attack in the first half. both are relatively down to midfield to help the defense after chelsea winning 1-0, this is a tough match for AC milan considering chelsea really want to win at home.

I would say AC Milan lost this match because of their own failure. AC Milan's gameplay was poor from the start of the match. Since it was their away match, they probably wanted to draw the match and share the points. But their gameplay was very weak. Milan goalkeeper Tatarusanu made several good saves, otherwise, Milan would have conceded a few more goals. The dominance of the Chelsea players was quite visible throughout the match. We expected a better performance from a renowned team like AC Milan. But I was very disappointed with their performance. Despite playing defensive tactics, their performance was poor.

Suitable. We can't fully say that the 3-0 win over AC Milan can be said to be the beginning of Chelsea's revival, but it could be the start for coach Graham Potter to form the right strategy with the players owned by Chelsea.
We will see how their next match results when playing at AC Milan headquarters in the next round. Because English teams always have difficulty when dealing with Serie A teams in Italy.

Chelsea don't have to play to win in the second leg - a draw will suit them just fine (as Milan, by the way) so I think we won't understand much about the team's ability in the second leg. At least this is something good for them in the midst of the chaos of the sacking of Tuchel because they managed to bring Potter who is now increasingly making Chelsea more optimal.

Hopefully it can continue to improve and can also be really optimal because Chelsea have gone through difficult times at the beginning of this season so it is very necessary to improve their performance optimally this season so that they can catch up on points and compete with the best teams this season through Potter's direction. Because Potter still needs to learn every character of Chelsea players and put them in a better position.

It’s too early to start making predictions about who will be champion yet. Lots of things can change, we are only in October. The big teams usually take it up a gear after Xmas. Injuries  can affect a teams rhythm & form so let’s see what happens when we get to the knockout stages.

You can probably narrow it down to the usual suspects though, Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern, Chelsea, LFC, Barcelona, Inter.

My own team LFC aren’t doing too well atm but we always do well in the CL. You can never ever write off Real, they are the undisputed Kings of Europe. Man City must be favourites, Haaland looks unstoppable if we’re honest. I don’t know if I’ve seen a CF like him.

Well as I said before, I was one of the people who did not agree that Tuchel was fired, I still believe that the fault at that time was the players but not Tuchel's, maybe this time Potter came with another vision of the football, he may have listened to all the problems of the team and he himself gave him the solution, he managed to get along with the whole team and that each one of the players played in harmony, that is something very difficult to achieve, for me personally, Potter has achieved what has been difficult for many to carry and maintain, I have only seen that behavior in the Argentina team, a level of understanding like that, oh and also in Barcelona when it was under the direction of Pep Guardiola.

I would have loved to agree with you on this but I feel, Tuchel made a significant impact as to why he was relieved of his job at Chelsea. I know players could gang on there coach as its a tradition when the coach player relations aren't great no more, they did it to Jose Mourinho and it lead to his dismissal as well. Chelseas bad play was one that was anticipated this season after seeing Tuchels how Tuchel sluggishly made use of the transfer market while looking at what he lost to it.

Yeah, Chelsea made some significant signing in Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, E. Aubameyang, Armando Broja and others but, he had A. Broja on the bench far more than supposed even with Kai Havertz wasn't doing so much lately, to earn his spot in the first eleven.
Tuchel was adamant to the changes in his team and that wasn't a solution to the problems in his team.

For Graham Potter, I won't be all excited yet. After all, Tuchel had a good start too and made Chelsea better for a time. Let's just hope Graham Potter could hold this up.

Dinamo's european story continues the same way it always has - a solid performance ruined by a silly mistake. Shame, they were good for a draw yesterday.
Moharrami should know better than to give away such a cheap penalty and Drmić should have done a lot better with that 1 on 1 sitter he was gifted with by a horrible mistake from Salzburg's defender.

Still - I feel that we can beat them in Zagreb. Chelsea's win against Milan keeps the group fairly open.

Moharrami was very bad in the match and made a lot of mistakes in the first half and the coach should have replaced him immediately after the end of the first half.
The last 20 minutes of the match showed how Dinamo should have played from the very beginning. Dinamo should have played much more offensively and attackingly, because in those last 20 minutes, Salzburg barely survived. It was a completely wrong coach's tactic.
It's really incredible what Drmic didn't score at the end of the game. The second leg in Zagreb will be very interesting and uncertain.
Dinamo still has a good chance for the first two places in the group.

I would add to that group also PSG but I agree with you mostly as they did an awful performance yesterday by not being able to beat Benfica which has less qualitative players than PSG.I would also exclude Chelsea after their recent form is not perfect despite winning both in Premier League and Champions League I don't see them capable of winning against Manchester City or Real Madrid as of yet.

Inter also is not a big favorite judging from their results and the same can be said for Barcelona.I don't know about Liverpool but I am narrowing down it to 4 teams,PSG,Bayern Munchen,Manchester City and Real Madrid as the real favorites.

You're right, but I don't think all supporters are the same. Manchester City's win is the result of the team's performance so far and it's not just about Haaland. The fact is Haaland hasn't missed a goal from another player's assist, but I think Manchester City doesn't just rely on Haaland to win. Many other players can score goals, Alvarez and Foden are also good but Haaland is a special player.

Haaland's adaptation is getting better, that's very important because as a striker he deserves to have these statistics. I hope Manchester City can go one step further this season in the Champions League, but I don't know if they'll be able to break the curse if they get to the final. Yes, so far no one has really been able to break Haaland movement or all of Man City front lines. This time Pep Guardiola has a very ideal formation and it is always the most effective formation with any opponent. Haaland glory is starting and this season can be a hope that can be realized if Pep and his main squad can be consistent with each other. The Champions League has always been open to Man City. Maybe this season, Man City fans believe that the current achievements can give extraordinary results.

The dismissal of Tuchel is nothing more than the measure of his poor results, it is obvious that he has not been able to have good results, just for a moment, in case Tuchel is winning all the games I think that the scenario was not this, no I think it is an act of subadjacentity that has to do with any other event or event, this is very clear, this is because of the bad results, what happens is that many are preparing another type of accusation so as not to tell the truth, good accusation no, a good excuse not to show that the team is intermanently very bad, this is like covering the sun with a finger.

It looks like Graham Potter can really turn Chelsea into a better path. even in the match Milan really became difficult. the pressing system displayed by chelsea looks neater. than in previous matches. and this strategy has made it difficult for Milan to improve and develop their game. Chelsea's victory this time was really far from my expectations. because I think Chelsea will struggle a bit against Milan. but in fact the opposite is true. Hopefully Chelsea can continue to consistently maintain their winnings in the next matches.

I think it is too early to conclude that Graham Potter's reign as Chelsea's coach would be a glorious one. AC Milan is one of the biggest clubs in Europe but the club's performance has not been commendable this season. They have struggled to win matches both in the Serie A and the Champions League. They have failed to establish themselves as a force in club football this season. Hence, the win against AC Milan should not be used as a yardstick to conclude that Potter is Chelsea's newfound winning link. I think that is a very difficult choice to pick. In my opinion if it's not only manchester city. bayern and real madrid are also potentially become a winner for this season. Manchester city has not yet faced the big team like real madrid. We don't know what would be the result once city will face a big team like bayern and real madrid
